If Eagle Flies didn’t show up when he did, the gang would have divided right there. When Micah told Arthur to show Dutch some respect, Arthur responds with “Excuse me?” During that moment you can see John, Charles, and Sadie coming to back up Arthur. A big fight was about to start. Then Eagle Flies showed up.
If eagle flies didn’t come then maybe Micah would have died there, Javier refused to shoot Arthur and John but with 2 others I would be convinced he would come to his senses. 6 on 5 with ms Grimshaw as well would have been an awfully one sided fight with Arthur on it as well as the other good gunslingers in the gang
The Tahiti plan would have worked if it wasn’t for Micah 1) splitting apart the gang and 2) trying to rob Dutch, even with the attention from the Pinkertons. They had the money, all they needed to do was go down to Saint Denis and get tickets to a boat to Tahiti without causing trouble.
Kayn Mazio John was still reluctant in joining in the attack with Arthur. It shows how much he struggles with loyalty. It’s not until the final mission that he truly becomes loyal to something outside of the gang.

Cleet weren't so bad, I found he was alright in the epilogue as he tried to stop Micah killing a little girl which is why he wasn't with Micah anymore as he was gonna kill Cleet for showing 'weakness' though it wasn't weakness he showed he had more morals than the rest of them. Sadie just had to kill him though anyway which kinda annoyed me lmao.
No offense to this guy but did he really need dead eye for every single shot, a lot of times he only locked up one guy when he could of easily locked up multiple. Personally I don’t need dead eye, I’m just as good without it, I only use it to shoot multiple people at once and have fun with it.

Graham Green sure is a good actor. Just hearing Chief Rains Fall begging his son not to fight makes me upset because I knew what was going to happen. The part where he says that water and trees know no pride but they endure resonated with me.
Growing up half native and learning the history for my grandmother I really appreciate the representation of Natives in this game. Rains Fall’s speech was heartbreaking cause all he wanted was to keep his people together instead of dying in an impossible battle. Shit had me tearin up.
that was one of the most emotional moments of the game for me. these last few missions display so many themes and emotions, but i think one of the most striking is helplessness. rains fall begging them to stop... that broke my heart. he didn’t want the last member of his immediate family also killed by the army. and the way dutch is talking about everything going to plan as eagle flies dies... just, wow. consider dutch when he was turning on the charm and calling him son as soon as he met him to persuade him into fighting the army no just to be a distraction... and when push comes to shove, now that dutch has got his money, he may as well not even notice that eagle flies was there and acts condescending when arthur wants to get him to his father. he was just a pawn in his game, same as everyone else.
I love this mission for so many reasons - The way Rain Falls tries to stop his son is so heartbreaking -the way Charles, Sadie and John show to be on Arthur's side -I always liked Javier. Seeing him so confused asking what has happened to everybody is also heartbreaking -When you ride aside with the indians, man, that sure was badass -the way you kind of start trusting Dutch again after seeing that his plan is working just to crush all that making you look how Dutch does nothing to save you minutes later. At that moment, you really feel upset with Dutch -The whole scene in the tribe, The woman saying that she thinks Eagle Fly is wounded and how Rain Falls doesn't get mad at his son. -When Charles hugs Arthur MAN Really my favorite mission from the whole game :-)

I remember exactly thinking that. They confused the two and didn’t know the difference and that’s why Arthur, John and the rest had less guilt when it came down to what was important.
I love how during Eagle Flies and Rains Fall's argument Dutch is in the middle and there are the two sides. The right side (John, Arthur, Sadie, Charles, and Uncle) are the people who have grown disillusioned with Dutch's ways and try to make him see reason, basically the angels on Dutch's right shoulder whilst the left side (Javier, Micah, Bill, Cleet, and Joe) are the ones who encourage Dutch's chaotic behavior, basically the demons on his left shoulder.
The funniest part is that Bill fought in wars killing natives, even defending his actions during the Bronte's mission but is such a lap dog to dutch that he goes fight the army by their side here
I was really hoping during that scene where Arthur and Eagle Flies came out of the factory and Arthur accused Dutch of running away that it would end with Arthur just flat out punching Dutch and knocking him on his ass
Dutch’s manipulation of Eagle Flies was directly harmful to Rains Fall. He led his last son into battle knowing the chance of him dying and how horrible it would be for his father. All for the money.
The way the camera focuses on a mortally wounded Eagle Flies as Dutch says it's all going according to plan... cinematography really tells a story there.
Dutch: What have you been doing behind my back? John: Why would they attack the oil fields? Dutch: It's perfect. Arthur: This was your idea? Dutch: Partially. And yet people think Micha was the main bad guy, Dutch didn't change, he showed who he really was.
@@Muinciavhe Back in the day when micah wasn't in the gang and the gang was at their peak robbing banks and trains and then giving it to the poor, Dutch was a man of principles and honesty, he believed in living life freely without a leash on him, but as time passed he started becoming more selfish and instead of giving money to the poor he started robbing them which Hosea heavily objected but still stuck with him for his loyalty towards Dutch and the gang , he was the guy to keep Dutch sane and not get driven crazy but as time passed even hosea couldn't control him which led to the sad demise of the gang
The moment Dutch turned into the antagonist of the red dead series..... And Micah didn't even leave camp It was all Dutch's idea Micah didn't make Dutch do stuff,he only said yes to any rampage Dutch said
0:45 SPOILERS Anyone notice the people standing on the left of Dutch are the ones who turn on Arthur and John who are standing on the right of him. Dunno whether that was intentional or not
This mission is pretty much a reference to the battle of little bighorn. U.S. army soldiers were massacred and both of the commanding colonels were killed.
mlplarisanable but this battle was a phyrric victory for both sides, the gang fell apart and Dutch went full insane being corrupted by Micah which led to the betrayal of John and Arthur, the Wapiti natives ended up losing their lands and forced to go into exile to Canada, Colonel Sanders died before enjoying a generous retirement and a victory in battle that would have save his pathetic career and the Cornwall corporation fell with the death of its owner and this venture was a failure since the wapiti lands had little oil and not worth the investment
0:25 God I wish Eagle Flies wouldn't have interfered. Charles, John & Sadie were just chillin, sensed Arthur's tone & all got up. Javier & Bill got up. It was about to be Team Arthur vs Team Dutch
man this mission was one of the best parts in the game for me. I simply love that first talk the gang was while on the horses, you can feel everyone is about to explode.
It’s annoying when a badass soundtrack plays and people overuse deadeye like how Gta Series Videos overused deadeye in the Braithwaite mission it ruined the moment
Like Lord Shimura and Jin’s conversation in Ghost of Tsushima: “You have no honor.” “And you are a slave to it.” Javier and Bill are blinded by loyalty, thinking Arthur has no loyalty by questioning Dutch’s actions, and becoming slaves to loyalty in the process. Arthur, however, sees that sometimes loyalty isn’t everything, and that if you worship it too much, it could get you killed.
Hosea doing the same thing as Arthur and John was answered with the same slavery. Dutch kept on dissing Hosea for being doubtful and not falling for his plans. Arthur and John took over Hosea's wisdom.
What makes Eagle Flies’s death a lot more sadder is that it could have been avoided if Dutch helped Arthur but at least he managed to gained peace and justice for his father and people

Poor Bill is so goddamn stupid it’s funny
The funniest part is that Bill fought in wars killing natives, even defending his actions during the Bronte's mission but is such a lap dog to dutch that he goes fight the army by their side here
Dude Arthur's face at 18:37 gives me so much chills even after almost 5 years of the game being out 😭😭🥶🥶
I was really hoping during that scene where Arthur and Eagle Flies came out of the factory and Arthur accused Dutch of running away that it would end with Arthur just flat out punching Dutch and knocking him on his ass
Dutch did change
@@Muinciavhe no he never changed
He was always the bad person hiding behind a mask
@@patricioperez7323 not really
@@Muinciavhe Back in the day when micah wasn't in the gang and the gang was at their peak robbing banks and trains and then giving it to the poor, Dutch was a man of principles and honesty, he believed in living life freely without a leash on him, but as time passed he started becoming more selfish and instead of giving money to the poor he started robbing them which Hosea heavily objected but still stuck with him for his loyalty towards Dutch and the gang , he was the guy to keep Dutch sane and not get driven crazy but as time passed even hosea couldn't control him which led to the sad demise of the gang
@@zneer100 that’s what I’m saying, the other person is saying he was always like that
You can hear the sadness in his voice when he says Please😢
6:45 there goes the legendary "Magnificent 9"
7:00 man the dead eye ruined the music
"We're riding with you." Has to be my favorite moment in the game. Arthur doesn't want it, but he gets the recognition from his friends.
"My only boy"......"my precious boy"
The moment Dutch turned into the antagonist of the red dead series..... And Micah didn't even leave camp
It was all Dutch's idea
Micah didn't make Dutch do stuff,he only said yes to any rampage Dutch said
0:45 SPOILERS
Anyone notice the people standing on the left of Dutch are the ones who turn on Arthur and John who are standing on the right of him. Dunno whether that was intentional or not
Ryan the Vlogger nice spot
Sides were pretty much taken at this point
11:32 nice way to hold your gun in your left hand sadie
Muzzle discipline is for nerds lol
Sadie grindset
Holy hell, this mission is just pure badass.
Damn right
19:16 Arthur's voice here pleading with Sadie is so saddening.
No wonder she sounds so worried when replying to him "Be Safe, Arthur."
*Dutch fails time and time again and John criticizes him for not having a plan.
Dutch: I aM tIReD oF tHIs cOnSTaNt DEsEnt!!
JalenR. Well it’s the truth
Seeing Arther almost died Dutch be like NOPE
“So, how often do you use dead eye when playing Red Dead?”
Gta Series: yes
man this mission was one of the best parts in the game for me. I simply love that first talk the gang was while on the horses, you can feel everyone is about to explode.
Badass mission in the game. Love it.
Stop commenting
Lmao
I hate using deadeye for everything! Ruins gameplay and music. I use it only when hunting for birds.
Exactly.
Siddharth R i use it quickly just so it doesn’t fully affect the soundtrack
Siddharth R i never once used dead eye except when it automatically did its for pussys who cant aim
It’s annoying when a badass soundtrack plays and people overuse deadeye like how Gta Series Videos overused deadeye in the Braithwaite mission it ruined the moment
Yeah but without dead eye you can't get gold medals in several mission
Like Lord Shimura and Jin’s conversation in Ghost of Tsushima:
“You have no honor.”
“And you are a slave to it.”
Javier and Bill are blinded by loyalty, thinking Arthur has no loyalty by questioning Dutch’s actions, and becoming slaves to loyalty in the process.
What makes Eagle Flies’s death a lot more sadder is that it could have been avoided if Dutch helped Arthur but at least he managed to gained peace and justice for his father and people
The way everyone goes in a line to attack looks really cool just like the way in the Braithwaite manor or bronte's mansion
I felt so bad for Rains Fall in this misson.
At 26:52
On the top left corner:
"When you do work for the gang, half the take is set aside for gang savings. The other half is split between the gang members who worked on the job."
On the right hand side:
-Total take: $6,000.00
+Gang share: $6,000.00
-Your share: $0
If it ain't the best game, I don't know what is!
you sure don't
Its red dead redemption 2
Maybe San Andreas, My summer car, vice city, god of war, uncharted, GTA 3
*Y'know those games*
@@someguy8951 oh, yes.
@@someguy8951just take gta 3 and vice city out of the list, and it's valid. (Don't take me wrong, they're good games and all, but they're not as great as the other games)
the ride down the hill gives me goosebumps every single time
He immediately kills the drama by pausing the game for 10 seconds 🙄
Headshots feel so satisfying in this game
His only using deadaye for to easerer to schoot i schoot mostime waiout dead aye
Ehhh.. disagree.. as much as I love hats flying off. I HATE when I put a bullet in someone's face but the game decides it was a hat shot.
I’m sure that’s how everyone killed Micah
@@Kraken1Kid what the fuck are you saying
@@temmywemmy8544 he must’ve had a stroke typing halfway through
“We’re riding with you” hits hard right in the feels. Gives me goosebumps every time.
I like how in the end Arthur trusts Charles, whom he's only known for about 6 months, more than Dutch, whom he's known for over 20 years, shows how Dutch failed EVERYONE.
Hoseas death broke him and Micah the rat was taking advantage of him, rockstar really knows how to make games. By the first game Dutch was a broken shell of a man filled
With regret
The ride back to wapiti is beautifully heartbreaking. The music the lighting, Arthur calling eagle friends his friend.. my heart
Anyone else cry when Arthur said goodbye to Charles? This would be the last time these two would ever see each other.
2:08 Hmm so that's where John Marston got this whole "I implore you" thing from.
2:18 my god I can feel the pain through his voice
1:45
This is somewhat similar Arthur said to Mrs. Downes in Mission 69 "don't go and get yourself killed because of your pride."
Arthur has really took the reins of Hosea after he died...
Rains Fall's speech in this mission plus the powerlessness despite being the chief is so heartbreaking... especially with how accurate they nailed the atrocities of the settlers to Natives.
Gotta love the psychopathic Dutch. Tells people to cut loose if they aren’t with the plan, then later refuses to let people leave, to the point that some have to escape.
Helping rains fall behind Dutch's back was the best decision I made
That music during the build up is phenomenal
4:08 let me guess, he just needs MONEY
Probably the train robbery heist
Rain fall: as your chief.i implore you
John: Noted
I love that it was the German family that Arthur helped in a strange kindness that saved him
Who like red dead
yes ,me
Juan23 Galvan23 Everyone watching this video
Me
Muy bien
Red dead 1 has a better plot and stoty
"Your brother's head was smashed by drunken soldier!"
Rains Fall's actor played a character in Green Mile who was sent to death row for the exact same crime
Probably one of the best missions in the game. Emotional, great action, EXTREMELY important for the game, everything…it’s just amazing.
Dont get me wrong, I LOVE 'Unshaken', But in my opinion the best song in the game is from 6:49 on. It just evokes so much emotion!
Youspoonybard1 best moment in the series in my opinion. John, Sadie, Charles, riding with Arthur together one last time. So badass!
That scene really gime the chills bro..... Lets ride!!!!
2:06 The origin of "I Implore You".
The score of this game is amazing.
I love how Javier just said 'and me' without any fucking hesitation
The gang to 2 parts,
First part - Good part: Arthur, John, Charles, Sadie, Abigail, Lenny, Hosea, Uncle, Swanson, Grimshaw, Sean, Trelawny, Pearson, and girls.
Second part - Bad part - Dutch, Micah, Bill, Javier, Cleet, Joe, Strauss.
Javier wasn't bad. He just didn't see the situation clearly. Even at the end, he only raises his gun upwards, not at Arthur. And Strauss didn't tell a word after the game ends. The only bad thing he did was the debt stuff.
@@oneangeryboye1708 And it's not like Arthur was even nice to Bill either. He's also the butt of Arthur's jokes.
@@oneangeryboye1708 Javier saw it properly but dutch and bill went with micha Joe and cleet and he was scared to die because Arthur and John were alone and there were 5 people in micha's group including him he secretly wanted to go with Arthur and John
John was with Dutch though. I’m not sure if you’re talking about something else.
@@Deathpool_04 John wasn't with Dutch he didn't help John
He insists. He in..sis...ts.

You implore me!?
@@michaelz.3993 yeah. I do.
NOTE: don't clean your weapon next to dutch as he searches the drawer for the bonds. As the cutscene ends when he finds the bonds you will be glitched underneath the factory floor
Arthur's line at 21:22 "I don't know anymore... I just feel like a fool" hits me in feels so hard for some reason
I nearly cried hearing Rains pleas. Goddamit, it still hurts hearing it. Ffs Dutch...
