At top tier, buying an end of line vehicle mod with GE outright is a downright bargain, even at full price. Words cannot describe how bad the experience is of playing game after game without parts, fpe or sabots.
I think a lot of this advice depends very heavily on how much time you want to invest into the game and how much you value your time. If you enjoy the grind, go ahead and grind. If you don't enjoy the grind it's almost always more reasonable to speed things up with GE; I've found myself in a position before where I have a lineup at a certain tier that I enjoy, but I have to grind out a bunch of extra vehicles to both unlock the next tier and make future vehicles available. I /could/ spend dozens of hours grinding, oooor I could take a few hours worth of work-time's money and not worry about that, freeing me up for more time that I genuinely find enjoyable.
@Gladwin Feminist Not really comparable, maybe at low tiers, but higher tiers can take upwards of 100s of game hours to grind out. Not saying you should buy your way to the last tiers, but if you want to skip a particularly painful vehicle and drop 30 game hours off the grind, it's not the worst decision you could make. I don't see anyone spending $13 on a burger to eat in 2 months lol
This is exactly how I think about it. But on the other hand why do we even have to make these choices? They make the grind this painful, so people would rather trade their time spent in-game for their hard earned money. And because of that I don't like spending money on warthunder. Too bad warthunder is the only game that is like warthunder, otherwise I probably would've stopped playing already
This video is a must watch for new players. I almost quit the game before I figured out to turn off auto repair. Premium time when on sale is #1 yes buy. For those who suck at dogfighting, a premium base bomber like A2D, JU288, TU-1, F84F is #2. Also join a squadron and get the A4E.
At this point is best to just skip most of the strategic bombers as most mid and high tier attackers do everything they do better. The F84-F is good, but the A4 is better.
Auto repair is such a nasty trap from Gaijin! I didn't know that you could cancel it until quite some time. It saved me a ton money to just wait for repairs and go play other nations during that time or do something else. At higher BR, you save a ton of money doing this if you're willing to play casual.
I usually just wait til the 50% off sales to spend anything but if I have leftover GE I usually use it to research vehicles to skip through the early tech trees of some nations a tad bit and don't regret it one bit.
Way to save SL for small GE investment, when the modification is almost finished (not a vehicle) if you buy it with even one GE you will not have to spend any SL (you can basically "buy" up to 50K SL for just one GE) Edit: he said this in video: 0:47
It's crazy how slow it is unless you're a god amongst players and just destroy everything on your path. I was able to reach rank III while my best crew was lvl 17 and I tried to spread my points so that my skills don't get too expensive to level up... I'm not interested in playing planes, so I can't really do that to farm xp faster. So I got tired of this and accelerated training on my 3 main crews by buying 17,500 pts each. I really saw a huge difference! Having a maxed reloading, maxed targeting and range estimation and significant health makes the game so much easier!
When I was starting to struggle with SL, instead of buying SL directly, I bought the Battle Pass. For the approximately same amount of money I got similar amount of SL, lots of boosters, backups, 4 premium vehicles.
i completely agree with you on the buying SL with GE, i was thinking about buying 1.3 mil SL but instead decided to use my Italian premium lineup and made 300k in 3 hours. the total SL I've made from these premium vehicles is over 2 million
the problem for me is I am terrible at ground forces and typically only do air RB and the credit gain from that is crap compared to ground so unless I take big boosters and get lucky ground pounding AI targets while being left alone I typically only see 20-30k SL games on a decent result which doesn't always happen
@@jhorn64 im the opposite. Rarely get one kill in air RB while in ground i can get several per game if i dont disconnect or get sniped. I would recommend you grind some light tanks so you can scout to get into a plane faster in ground RB then you can perform CAS or Anti CAS depending on your playstyle.
Honorable mention could be loot crates you can buy with GE in item shop. It's most likely going to cost you more GE to get the tank that way vs purchasing it normally
You're right. I can't believe I didn't put that! It would have been #5. I think I put those in my initial draft, and then that draft somehow got deleted.
I've only outright bought a tech tree vehicle with ge that I put very little RP into, and that was the F8U-2 crusader, the game was pissing me off that day and I was making like 200rp a game, and I don't really regret it, I won't do it again mind you but I don't regret getting the crusader, it's one of my favorite jets in the game
The only time I ever spent GE to get modifications for a vehicle was for the extra gun for the Japanese Kikka jet about 7 years ago. The jet was so horrendously bad back then that I had to buy the extra gun just to make it have a fighting chance.
@@justsomepersonyoudontknow8401 The Kikka jet only starts with a single 30mm cannon that fires in burst but very slowly and has only 50 rounds in it. Since it's jets, it's far too slow to hit targets unless they're sitting still. The second cannon helps hit things better and gives a bit of extra ammo.
7:35 There is no issue with buying premium time/golden eagles ingame if u have the warthunder launcher, its only more expensive to buy things ingame while you are playing on steam. If u use the warthunder launcher to buy 365 days ingame, instead of buying 2x180 on the store, you actually save 5 dollars+100GE and get 6 days more.
Best way to spend GE for grinding (especially aircraft) is: Buy a premium/ pack premium Premium time if you bought a non pack premium Get to jets in less than a week With premium time on the MIG 21 SPS K I got the me 262 in 4 days starting from reserves
Side note for any new players, this is only when you have game experience in top tier jets, buying a random tier 5 or 6 will get you smashed as a new player
@@jakehaessig5151 yeah true. I am lvl 75 and bought the f5c for xmas 2022 and managed to go from the f2h to f14 in 8 days of only air ab but trust me and the guy, IF YOU ARE NEW, DO NOT BUY A TOP TIER PREMIUM. U WILL GET CLUBBED
Spending GE on a vehicle after receiving a 5% discount voucher for said vehicle as a battle reward. Just wait for the sales. Even spending on a 50% discount, you should ask yourself, " will I actually use this vehicle?" However, buying the one premium vehicle you can make work for you will secure your WT playing future. eg a Ju288 will earn SL (stiill) reliably. In conjuction with premium time you'll be a millionaire in year. Once you've got multiple millions of SL ask yourself "do I still need premium time?" If you no longer chase the latest in top tier perhaps the answer is no. However, if you enjoy having War Thunder around, you should feed Gaijin a little coin annually just to ensure WT is there next time you want a casual match with your mates. And finally: Call your bases bomber pilots and AU attacker pilots stop stealing bases. (that's what bugging me during this event).
@@Ben-fk9ey premium didnt make me progress anything faster, it just made me make more silver. now I have so much silver i dont know what to do with it all. back when I was more serious I literally averaged 1 million silver profit per round in naval, and I would post the images to those thread where people complained about their lack of silver lions rofl.
Nah I got a good amount of premium vehicles and without premium time they play like normal vehicles with premium time. So just buy a premium on 50% sale and safe your money.
Good advice tankenstien, I personally wouldn't use convertible RP ever, occasional premium time purchased only at sale times along with some vehicles in the tree waiting to be purchased with SL, getting these at certain sales can be half price which, when your advancing down a tree line can become quite an expensive time, also allow vehicles to repair in hanger to save SL by removing auto repair before the last game.
I’ve gotten to the point where I unlocked a vehicle then use my blue water fleets to buy it. The silver lions rewards are ridiculous in naval 250-900 percent depending on the vessel moffet and pola get a lot of money quickly if you are gunna buy any.. buy those two for making money IMO.
@@Prootgen it depends most of my matches are making 30,000-100k SL I’ve had a few really good matches with boosters on and made 250-300k in a match. As well as choosing other ships like the Atlanta or Portland which also have decent 400 to 600ish% SL boost. The moffett gets 900% SL boost and any extra boosters is just gravy
Thanks for the great tips! I'm still quite new at this game and your tips will help greatly to not spend my money in traps, especially buying premium time with golden eagles. I was tempted to doing so two days ago before having seen your video on the 5 best ways to spend Golden Eagles in game because I simply didn't know that you buy premium time in their store for cheaper outside buying the tank packs. It speaks a lot that a company such as Gaijin deliberately tries to goad their customers in buying inefficient products like that. The contempt that they show toward their customers is particularly vile.
I really wish I knew not to spend GE when I first started playing. My first tanks I spent all me GE on them without knowing how hard it is to get them for free with that daily reward thing. I think the next time I spend money on GE it will either be the premium account, or to buy a premium vehicle
Depends. Ill be my ass that the tank, jet and ship will sell for more than 60 Euros in the long run. (10k GE is around 60 Euros) so buying what you did not grind or the one you missed if you want to sell it is a worthy in the long run. Even if you did nothing its worth it, but the payout will be low If you just want the tank/ship/jet fast than i agree its a waste
my friend bought the leopard 2a5 as soon as it came out and i still shame him for it sometimes. youre way better off buying premiums than a tech tree vehicle that can have its stats changed at any time and no longer be meta.
I used to buy Premium time every now and then to reasearch stuff. But... I usually just buy myself through whatever I don't like and play the hell out of what I like. For example. I researched the Maus and Leo series with 4.0 to 5.7 BRs. For air I just went down the bomber line to the first Arado and used that to grind while watching Netflix or something.
The first two you just said is exactly what I did to unlock f14 lmao I got sick of the grind and the teams and I just wanted it. And for me to pay it good needed some good missiles
I have only ever spent GE on premium vehicles and one time RP conversion to get the Maus instantly. My premium time is still at around 40 days from Store bundle purchases alone, did not run out of premium for over half a year.
My usual waste of GE is backups on premium vehicles. I try to use the rewards from weeklies/dailies to get the free backups, so I can get the 10pack of backups, plus also the current chances of using SL to get a low chance at a vehicle, booster, decal, etc. I've gotten about 40 backups for about 5 million SL use (cocktail and umbrellas combined), plus many useless wagers that are just stacking up. But sometimes, I use 30/50 GE to purchase the tier 3 backups so I can just do the daily/weekly missions to save the rewarded backups for the more expensive vehicles (ones that would need 200+ GE to buy a backup).
One thing to point out about how bad GEing your way to jets, you aren't just buying the progression vehicles. With the exception of a few lines, ranks require 6 vehicles to be researched. Did a line start halfway through rank 2, you're on rank 4 and you need a 6th vehicle researched to rank 5? You better believe you're gonna need to go back and GE that entire rank 2 line up to rank 4 just to progress. People GE to one vehicle and never stop to realize they just unlocked 80% of a tech tree with a lot of really cool niche shit. I know someone who GEd to the HSTVL months ago, and after trying the ontos for the first time ever yesterday he has a new favorite tank over the HSTVL. He would have never known because he skipped it.
An honorable mention should be crew skills. Dont spend so much GE on those except for the most ESSENTIAL perks like Loaders loading, Gunners targeting and the Commanders leadership. Nothing else is as essential for gameplay, not even field repairs. If you get to the point of needing to repair anything other than the tracks, youre already dead, and if it is just the tracks, youve still got a functional gun to return fire and save yourself.
Every month i allow myself to spend a total of 200USD on any game and for the last 7 months it has been spent in war thunder on golden eagles, I spend them on unlocking veichles to make the grind quicker, people say it isnt worth it but so far i havnt made a single purchase that i regret
Just notice that on the console version for the website it's only allowing me to buy GE but at least I can transfer my account to pc when ever I want too.
Pretty much everything you said here I follow those rules. I didn't even know tasks could cost golden eagles because I wouldn't go past the 5k silver mark normally. The only exception is the vehicle modules. Especially after this 50% sale I unlocked a bunch of modules because of the stupid ass long grinds. But even then I waited for the 50% off sale.
Yeah, I've wasted sooo much. Especially after my card got hacked, the thieves canceled all my prior purchases to get the money, including $100 bucks on WT. So my account got perma banned until I send them ANOTHER $100. 🙃 5 years wasted
Only mod I'll ever buy with GE is flares for high tier jets, cause flying in missile BRs without flares is just painful. I might have once said that missile upgrades might sometimes be worth saving the pain too, but with the way that all t7 planes get at least a few decent heatseekers stock now, its really not worth it.
Since I work over 40 hours every week I find myself spending GE to save time as the grind in warthunder is pretty long and I don't won't to spend all my free time playing premiums just to grind for a specific vehicle if I can quickly and easily just spend GE to get. I find myself mostly spending GE to get higher tier fighters as I prefer Ground and Naval battles in warthunder so I want CAS for my higher tier tank lineups. I only spend GE in Naval for premium ships as Naval is super easy to grind up to top tier at the moment, and in ground I have enough premium tanks to make that grind bearable, so Air as the game mode I don't mind playing but isn't my favorite and would rather play ground becomes by default the one I spend the most GE in to skip grind. So for me it's all about saving time so I can enjoy playing the way I want to. Even saying that I agree with everything you said in your video and would be interesting to hear what you think about spending GE on Crew XP.
Premium time gives a much higher RP bonus than SL bonus, so unless you buy a premium with a much higher SL bonus than RP bonus (does such a vehicle exist?), then premium time just drains your SL faster.
@@DShazin A full list in order of importance, to me at least. Granted this is for ground. 1-Targeting. This is THE most important to get skills in first. Otherwise your gun can only move one plain at a time. 2-Tank Driving. This helps move your chassis around and in a pinch can help you swing your turret around to get your kill or make sure driving isn't a slog in tight turn spaces, do not underestimate this. 3-Weapon Reloading. Pretty simple, fire faster, kill faster. 4-Leadership. Affects all other skills so should always be picked up. 5-Field Repair. Easy, repair your tank on damage faster. 6-Vitality. Easy again, if you do get hit, chances of low shrapnel/spalling killing your crew is lowered. 7-Agililty. Move that dead body faster and get your gun back up and moving faster! 8-Keen Vision. I think this one gets misunderstood. Sometimes you will get little red markers pop up around your compass, this has saved me multiple times with planes as I like playing AA. Also, this increases the range of the 'spot' mechanic for light tanks. So the more you have the further out you can spot. I find it very helpful. 9-Rangefinding. For me, this only has little relevance but for new players, it will help ALOT. This could honestly be number 3 for new players getting used to the ranges, but for me, this is low. 10-Radio Communication. Helpful for getting those spots at longer ranges, but otherwise can be saved for MUCH later. 11-Arillery Targeting Accuracy/Strike Calling Time. Interchangeable as Arty is just a bonus thing to fire. Honestly this can be the second to last thing to upgrade, even though it is dirt cheap to max. 12-Anything in Logistical Services. Unless you are completely spent for SL or just can't make SL this is a worthless dump for points only after you max out everything else. The ONLY reason to get this is if you honestly use the free repair system. Which I don't.
@@trathanstargazer6421 yeah I think you value targeting most as you play spaa. I can agree it is important but I thought reload and repair are most important. If you miss shot, you can correct it faster. And if you get ur gun destroyed (as it happens very often in my panthers), you are simply sitting duck without fast repair. Nevertheless thank you for extensive answer. Have luck !
As a somewhat new player at 5.7 in every region I'm broke and can't afford tank I have already researched and especially with the smurfs and sealclubbers it is near impossible for me to gain sleep to progress and am tempted to buy high tier vehicle to grind the tree and make it easier but the matches I get now are a lose/lose situation so I don't even know what to do
I'm a player that plays only a few times a week. I like ground forces, but I suck enough where it almost always drains me of SL. I've watched ever tutorial and tried to get better but it seems I just suck. Any tips (besides playing more, because I cant) just got into 7.3/8.0 tanks
im new so take it with a grain of salt, but what i often hear and what i also think myself is that you could try to go to a lower br, because the higher the br the more stuff is going on and the maps are bigger. for example, when i went from 3 to 4 i got clapped every single round, but i was able to afford to stay there and learn more about the game and the maps but now im also going to stay here until i am the one who does the clapping and then i move up and repeat also try to use actual tactics like flanking, being stealthy/sniper or being the frontline and if you think "this is a bad idea" but you dont see anyone, dont do it because there is always someone watching
best bet is to just buy premium time every year during their annual sale in November. It helps keep the game going and makes researching and silver easer.
also not buy backups to some vehicles since some vehicle backups can cost more than 150 GE which is more than 1 dollar for 1 extra spawn during match which is super dumb
Only time you should research buy a vehicle (still shouldn’t but more than ever) is when gaijin releases your favorite plane for example the f14, mig29 f16 etc
Sorry but- how on Earth do you even get past 10k EXP in a match? In one of my last games I killed 7 vehicles, 1 plane, numerous assists, 6 base captured, won first in the match and barely got 4.5k exp without boosters (usually when I activate one I get an insta-loss or get max 5k)
I need advice, should I buy the M4A3 sherman with golden eagles? (its so painful to research it, i get 200 RP a match and 5k RP remaining to research the sherman)
Player population for arcade at higher tiers and br are very low. I recommend making to switch to rb as soon as possible otherwise the grind will become excruciating due to long queue times.
The F-89B is hard to use but buying it helped immensely when I was transitioning to US jets. If you can use that plane well in RB everything else is a breeze
imo some premiums are an absolute waste of mone, for example, the sherman calliope, it may be a skill issue but i find that its rockets are only good for clearing obsticles and light vehicles rather than doing any actual damage.
Watching this now after consistently playing for about a month and the RP for GE thing is killing me right now. I have 2m CRP and am 4 planes from the F16 and F14 and not buying them is killing me.
I'd say the best tiers to use GE on are premium vehicles in the t3-t4 area. Can do the daily stuff and still an average skill level usually. Good sl gain and not everything is too expensive. (Usually again)
there was a time i wanted to get up straight to the Vickers mk7 before the next update hit with the vickers mk3 which is sub par and in the wrong place on the tech tree in my opinion, so I got it quickly using ge and silver lions though my crew is not brilliant I am still getting very good kills 5-6 Kills with a not brilliant crew on a good day 1 or 2 kills turning the battle in my teams favour , I also had to spend a small amount of GE to get the swingfire because at the time loads of people where spamming the BMPS before the puma getting me at my spawn so Ihad to invest again to get the swingfire ATGM carrier , because i knew i was great with an MBT , MIssile carrier, Medium , light tank line-up, sure my crew is not brilliant but when I am in high tier in my mk7 it was like it was meant to be, next thing i got with 2k ge was the Abrams Aim and a few bits as i needed an MBt at max br as i maxxed out my Merkava mk1 and merkava mk2 when they where cheap (in the event marketplace store) after i spaded both they got incredibly expensive with a bad crew and did well in the Merkava, and now i am also maxing out the vickers mk7 mbt because i had that when that was top tier and top tier before they released challengers etc , but i have a super conquerer Conquerer mk2 -with additional armour i got then when it was cheap ge and sabot when i only had like 3 battles to go before maxing because , i liked the way the Super conquerer worked with spaced armour and armour that looked like era but no it was space homogenous armour.
make a video on how to not go insane trying to grind t7 usa ground. its preety much impossible to get to some tanks that arent as bad, like ADATS without using GE. its just not. you go into battle, you cant pen anything frontally, and gotta pray to god its a puma or a bmp thats facing you sideways, or grind a vechicle for hours just to get a shell that can penetrate lightly armoured vechicles.
@@convolutedconcepts yea i do agree that it is hard to pen the cheeks, similar to the panther d shooting the cheeks will ricochet and giving the opponent time to attack
Regarding the silver lions; I need 200k SL to buy & train a 6.7 tank. I have 30k now and get on average 7-15k per game. Is it a good idea to grind SL with aquatic vehicles instead of tanks?
indeed it is. Naval has extreme modifiers, though some may not enjoy the gameplay. Buy something like a Moffett or a Z47 and easily gain up to 100k per match
Great video Just 2 things 1 im on playstation so i cant get anything on the website only ingame 2 i make when i for example get 2 kills and 2 assist 4 k sl how do people get so much

I once had some € left on steam, so I invested them(possibly the worst way) in Ge. And what did I buy? Lucky Chests for the Do 335 and Panzerbefehlswagen Jagdpanther. Don't. Fucking. Do that. But a question of my own: what does turning off Auto Repair Change? You gotta pay the costs or wait up to a week to repair the vehicle
I'd agree till u start playing top tier tanks and u still stuck with stock HATFS after the 10 free repairs. And u just "rage buy" the 1st ammo upgrade, tough this might can be avoided if u try to unlock the 1st must have upgrades in "Assault". #6 wasting a lot GE on events. Like the current one; but I'm gonna do it anyway sadly, coz its such a burden that in the last 4 days all i did was I just logged in, stared my hangar for 30 min; but I just couldn't click on the "Battle" button, and quitted. Guess I have to go on a forced diet ... again.
The best money saving tip if you play this game allot is. Only get premium time during the two times a year it is 50% off. At those times you buy a full year. Mix that with a mid tier premium of good quality and you can make decent money. That said, if you play German you will need a medallion on top tier vehicles for the simple reason you need to unlock stuff in every tier to be competitive, unlike your opposition. Then you have the silver grind issue, which is you will regardless unlock vehicles faster than you gain the silver to buy them. At that point you need to decide what is more important, your time or dollar. Warthunder has to some extent fun combat, but the model is a scam.
Bad way to spend GE : Buying Premium planes ... did the mistake and bought the G.91 R4 . The result was that every match is against planes with a BR betwen 8.7 and 9.3 / 9.7 . Wich means i have to fight planes wich are double as fast as i , they have radar , afterburner , flares and even radarguided missiles... all things that the G.91 lacks. In every match i get shoot down by planes with a BR of 0,7 or 1.0 above mine , out of 100 maybe 1 or 2 are the same BR , no one was lower BR .

The only time I ever spent GE to get modifications for a vehicle was for the extra gun for the Japanese Kikka jet about 7 years ago. The jet was so horrendously bad back then that I had to buy the extra gun just to make it have a fighting chance.
Wdym "buy extra gun"
@@justsomepersonyoudontknow8401 the extra gun is a mod u have to research and buy
@@justsomepersonyoudontknow8401 The Kikka jet only starts with a single 30mm cannon that fires in burst but very slowly and has only 50 rounds in it. There is no issue with buying premium time/golden eagles ingame if u have the warthunder launcher, its only more expensive to buy things ingame while you are playing on steam.
If u use the warthunder launcher to buy 365 days ingame, instead of buying 2x180 on the store, you actually save 5 dollars+100GE and get 6 days more.
Best way to spend GE for grinding (especially aircraft) is:
Buy a premium/ pack premium
Premium time if you bought a non pack premium
Get to jets in less than a week
With premium time on the MIG 21 SPS K I got the me 262 in 4 days starting from reserves
Even spending on a 50% discount, you should ask yourself, " will I actually use this vehicle?"
However, buying the one premium vehicle you can make work for you will secure your WT playing future. eg a Ju288 will earn SL (stiill) reliably.
With my 288 I made a million in like 10 good matches with premium 💀
$4 a month is a good deal for a game you enjoy. Wait until a sale, and buy 180 or 365 days of premium at a time if you care about grinding at all.
Really unless you're a great player you will progress at a snails pace without premium. It's pretty much mandatory imo.
@@sirbonobo3907 premium time gives almost no bonus to premium vehicles lol
@@Melthornal it lierally doubles them loo
Wait wait, on average how much would you say you get with blue water fleets
@@Prootgen it depends most of my matches are making 30,000-100k SL I’ve had a few really good matches with boosters on and made 250-300k in a match. Sounds like the perfect way to get SL. Thanks for the info
I nominate the 999 GE cost to complete an event task as being really bad way to spend GE too.
Depends. Ill be my ass that the tank, jet and ship will sell for more than 60 Euros in the long run. (10k GE is around 60 Euros) so buying what you did not grind or the one you missed if you want to sell it is a worthy in the long run. Even if you did nothing its worth it, but the payout will be low
If you just want the tank/ship/jet fast than i agree its a waste
my friend bought the leopard 2a5 as soon as it came out and i still shame him for it sometimes. youre way better off buying premiums than a tech tree vehicle that can have its stats changed at any time and no longer be meta.
But sometimes, I use 30/50 GE to purchase the tier 3 backups so I can just do the daily/weekly missions to save the rewarded backups for the more expensive vehicles (ones that would need 200+ GE to buy a backup).
buy them in the warbond shop they are much cheaper there i have 350 stock in the inventory
@@KayxSy that's where i get the 10 packs, then 5 packs, 3 packs, then singles, but they don't last me since I'm very aggressive in the game.
The crew point can be not the worst when you want to train your crev and just slightly lack the proper level
The one purchase i regret is accidentally researching the M901 using GE, around 2K GE gone, all because the game decide to lag on the main menu
Thanks, now I know what not to spend my 13 precious GE’s on
i didnt know about the price difference between in-game and website premium time, good stuff
If you get to the point of needing to repair anything other than the tracks, youre already dead, and if it is just the tracks, youve still got a functional gun to return fire and save yourself.
ah pog, the p2w crew system
Every month i allow myself to spend a total of 200USD on any game and for the last 7 months it has been spent in war thunder on golden eagles, I spend them on unlocking veichles to make the grind quicker, people say it isnt worth it but so far i havnt made a single purchase that i regret
Me watching this video like - yep I’ve done this …
Yeah I’ve done all of them
Just notice that on the console version for the website it's only allowing me to buy GE but at least I can transfer my account to pc when ever I want too.
Lmao, charging back purchases for more cash is a scumbag move even for thieves.
Man that's rough 😕
Only mod I'll ever buy with GE is flares for high tier jets, cause flying in missile BRs without flares is just painful. I might have once said that missile upgrades might sometimes be worth saving the pain too, but with the way that all t7 planes get at least a few decent heatseekers stock now, its really not worth it.
I bought bombs a few times to help the grind. having only a gun on a high tier jet is awful
Remember you don't have to buy unlocked vehicles straight away. Wait for the 50% sales and buy in bulk. Save millions of SL.
When I do get GE it generally goes towards crew skill. There are a couple that just honestly should be maxed out asap.
Reload, leadership, vitality and field repairs I assume?
Have luck !
Where does buying bushes to cover weak spots on tanks rank? Good buy? Pointless if you're good at angling? Somewhere in between?
Beginner packs are stupidly good for value. A premium tank and plane, a nice chunk of SL to boot as well. Well worth it.
Any tips (besides playing more, because I cant) just got into 7.3/8.0 tanks
im new so take it with a grain of salt, but what i often hear and what i also think myself is that you could try to go to a lower br, because the higher the br the more stuff is going on and the maps are bigger. for example, when i went from 3 to 4 i got clapped every single round, but i was able to afford to stay there and learn more about the game and the maps but now im also going to stay here until i am the one who does the clapping and then i move up and repeat
also try to use actual tactics like flanking, being stealthy/sniper or being the frontline and if you think "this is a bad idea" but you dont see anyone, dont do it because there is always someone watching
best bet is to just buy premium time every year during their annual sale in November.
Great guide for new players. Jobb well done Tankenstein :)
What is the plane used in the beginning scene? I think I could make a really cool model kit out of it!

I just noticed after a few days that you didnt talk about spending GE for Talismans.

Do you have any videos about whats the best line ups for air or ground arcade? All of these videos about best lineup is Rb. No one playing Ab ?
Pull on the big boy pants and join us in RB. Yes there's a learning curve but you feel better for making the step up.

You can also save a little bit of money from a creator code you will also get a decal
imo some premiums are an absolute waste of mone, for example, the sherman calliope, it may be a skill issue but i find that its rockets are only good for clearing obsticles and light vehicles rather than doing any actual damage.

Should I buy a premium of my same br or one a lot higher. I don't know what is the best way and don't want to waste money
make a video on how to not go insane trying to grind t7 usa ground. its preety much impossible to get to some tanks that arent as bad, like ADATS without using GE. its just not. you go into battle, you cant pen anything frontally, and gotta pray to god its a puma or a bmp thats facing you sideways, or grind a vechicle for hours just to get a shell that can penetrate lightly armoured vechicles.

Warthunder has to some extent fun combat, but the model is a scam.
the only mods i ever spend ge on are parts/fpe and flares/chaff
ah yes i was wonder what the best way i could speed run emptying my back account in the worst way possible i will take this with pleasure
