This video was very helpful for helping me make my first deadfall. I also like the fact that he says he does not lay his tools down when working in the bush. Thanks from Newfoundland Canada. Cheers
I dont mean to be off topic but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Ty Finnegan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I did a slight undercut on the figure 7 notches. It made it easier to keep steady while I put a weight in place. Caught a squirrel in my recycle bin first try. He was REALLY PISSED.
Correct - you can lean a flat rock or a log on it so that the trigger portion is under the rock/log. When the animal hits the trigger the object will fall and trap it. You'll usually need to put a bit of bait on the trigger, and you probably don't want to stick it into the ground - you want the sticks to collapse flat when the object falls.
Could you tell me what knife and sheath you have? I like the carry position of the knife looks like Madison use's the same. Thanks for the great videos!
Thanks. I am staying with you and keeping my eyes open for part 2 EDC Kit posted JULY 9, 2013. If you are not prepared you are never prepared for PART 2??????????
something heavy on top, with bait underneath, or on the trigger, so that when an animal comes to get the bait, the heavy object will fall, hopefully immobilizing or killing it.

Only 1 question, your trigger stick looks very long - would that support such a large slab of rock?

Saw?
most swiss army knifes or multi tools have a small saw blade on them
should color the sticks ... they all look the same and u can’t which which is which because you’re picking them up and setting them down so often.
