I put a pipe on because of the silly half-ass inside crimp on the stock pipe at the turbo. Even with a new boot and hairspray it would blow off on long hill climbs while towing. New pipe has an actual bead to hold the boot.

That is a cover for the reservoir that WCfab makes 👍, and that is the 2011+ booster upgrade.

What’s your opinion on transynd for the trans fluid

That’s actually what I typically run. I just couldn’t find it at the time I bought my fluids same with rotella. It’s better for high mileaged transfer cases. We put that in the red Duramax

Hey keep up the good videos. Just found ya. I'm also in Wisconsin. 20 miles north of eau claire. Question. I have the 2006 LBZ. I also have a 2004 1500 crew cab. Want to switch interior. My duramax don't have power on either side. My 1500 have full power and buckets with center counsel. What do I need to do to make my power seats to work. Also will my rear seat fit? Thank you and keep up the good work

Appreciate the support! I have a video on interior swap from an avalanche. I point out what wires from the harness in the seat needs power, and how I got power over to the passenger side 👍 All you need to do is get positive and negative 12V power to the seat. In your case I would find it in the fuse box in the cab would be easiest . Or simply run new wires fused from the battery.
You can tuck it under the floor trim like I did for my rear window.
As far as the 1500 the rear seats will not fit. The fronts will work, but not the rear. That’s because of the larger transmission hump in the middle of the cab did the back seat.
In my swap video you’ll also see the lower dash piece you’ll need for the center console. 👍

@@DIYDiesel yup I watched your videos. Reason I asked was you already had power on one side. I do not. So the passenger harness goes to the drivers side. Then power from the drivers side to the fuse Block? Love the back window too by the way

@@geoffhetke524 Yes run power from passenger side to drivers, and then to the fuse block. That way you cut down allot of extra work than running power from the fuse block to both sides. Use 12awg as well.
