I'd like a HSP intercooler pipes for a lml with full emissions and factory airbox! Can't seem to find a HSP cold pipe to replace the oem plastic piece.
You said you're not a fan of the plastic. What about the S&B version? I've not been able to see specs on the tube, but it looks small as compared to HSP or WC Fab.
Decent bunch of guys to deal with also. They sent me head bolts instead of the studs I ordered and after a few calls they payed for me to buy the studs locally and not have to wait for shipping. We all make mistakes the difference is in the making it right after. 👍HSP.
Both companies have nice kits, but I’m still not sold on the actual intake inlet. Both still seem like hot air intakes to me because it’s not a complete enclosed filter box. I Live in the desert (Coachella Valley) and it’s hot as hell here anyway, but if I could keep my truck cooler with air flow outside of the engine bay I think my truck would be much happier. HSP or WC Fab!! You should make an intake out of thick plastic and make it similar to the Banks Cold air with a Scoop to ram Cold air!! PS plastic conducts less heat! That would be the perfect kit guys! I’m sure Rustbelt Mechanic and TruckMaster would agree!
You said it! The only difference is at idle so who really cares? Out on the road I can see the open style have better cooler air flowing in than the limited air in that little corner! Just my opinion but I am no scientist.
Yep for hot side, cold side, turbo inlet, cold air intake, Billet Y bridge, the intake box, drivers side up pipe, air filter, all the hardware, boots and clamps, and all powder coated. That’s a lot of high quality product.
Banks has a air scoop that brings air from under the bumper. What do you think about it?
Those seem pretty decent, only thing I’m not a fan of is the plastic. Just not so aesthetically pleasing as the powder coated kits.

Both the manufacturer and Rustbelt said they measured their air temp at their filter and it was +/- 2° different than ambient outside temperature.
