    Another great video Van! The left shifter is in the middle location in your video, and the instruction says that M10 is torqued to 45 lb ft. I tried my best to loosen it and relocate it to the middle, but it would not move. Too much thread locker? How did you loosen it?

      Thanks for watching. You need to make sure you are using a quality allen socket and a ratchet to break this loose. - Van

    What bracket did you move exactly to make the brake side fit? Having a trouble making these bolt on properly

      Sorry I do not remember, this was a few years back now. If you follow the steps in the video that should get you through the project. - Van

    Will this help with me shifting? I broke my ankle and leg a while back and the doctor fucked up the surgery so once in awhile it's hard to turn my foot into shift will this help with that? And what's the best brand for it?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pretty much any of the brands we offer have enough adjustability to help you improve the ergos and make it easier for you to shift. Sorry to hear about the injury. - Van

    Yo! I just got myself 2015 r6 and gonna get it modded for track use.
    Would you recommend this Rearsets or the Vortex v3 2.0 Rearsets?? Ty .

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      End of the day they are both excellent. The Vortex 2.0 design offers a little more adjust-ability if you feel you would benefit from it that is the way to go. I have ridden with these Driven rearsets on a couple bikes now and like how they feel, tons of grip on that pegs. - Van

    Awsome vid! Hey have you done a vid where you showed how to change location on the folding toe peice on shifter and brake side? Thanks

    Why the red thread locker on the main mounting bolts? I'm thinking, since the foot peg location is adjustable, I wouldn't want to go with such a strong compound until I've tried the different locations, and found which one I prefer.

      They are large fasteners and will break loose pretty darn easy with red or blue IMO. If you want to ride the bike first to find the best placement then add the thread locker that is the best way to do it for sure. This is not my bike and I need to make sure it leaves here ready to roll so I used the thread locker right out to the gate on this one. - Van

    cool videos, appreciate them much! any videos on how to replace and adjust the throttle cable on r6?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries, happy to help out. We do not have a throttle video for the R6 but we do have one for the GSXR 1000R. End of the day the process will be very similar between the two models. Here is a link to that video: th-cam.com/video/HHE3ZsBj9aA/w-d-xo.html - Van

    oh man that master cylinder came off so easy even my mechanic had a hard time getting mine off we tired to drill the screws off they were to strong. So we chipped the side of them and with the hammering to chip it we were able to use needle nose pillars to turn them and take them off.
    but thinking about getting different rearsets my current has no feeling in the rear brake I need more free play and the spring does not fit

    Basically I just need the shifter to be a little bit longer and a little higher so I can get my foot under. now I just basically use half of my big toe, but I keep stretching and stretching trying to get my foot to move in more if I can't find something. Just can't fucking trust doctors now a days!
