Their reactions have been so fun to watch these last couple of years. She can get her growls so deep!! That would’ve been cool to see your reaction to the whole video. But

Earliest female vocalist to do fry vocals like Jinjer, was Sabina Classen of German Metal band Holy Moses in the 90's period. Then came Angela Gossow who joined Swedish Melodic Death Metal band Arch Enemy, from there more and more women are doing these kinds of vocals. Metal has always been very experimental, where it has many sub-genres, where bands attempt in breaking the barriers of music, blending with other musical genres in order to progress.

There is a great Y.Tube demonstration of polyphonic overtone singing - " Anna-Maria Hefele - polyphonic overtone singing" She also has a Ted Talk where she shows a functional MRI that shows her tongue placement as she switches overtones. I'm sure many have requested Tatiana's growls before. That was "Jinjer - Pisces ( Live Session) | Napalm Records".

Is crazy the things that humans can do with their voices. I can sing, been practicing a lot of Mariah’s songs in the Pandemic. But my trick is that I can make a big ping or pong sound with my mouth. Like pooping a bottle of Champagne. I started to add it to my interpretations of Mimi’s songs lol. I have done it since I was a kid. My friends love it lol

Avi Kaplan, a basso profundo, sings entire songs with the overtones. Just sand he Lion Sleeps Tonight. Should try his solo music. He left Pentatonix and has been at the top of his game.

i have a bunch of weird vocal tricks. like. i can do over tones. but not as good as the ones done in the video. i can do whistle register. and i have some weird vocal registers that i dont even know how to explain and never met someone else who can go into them
