I been watching Spider-Man for the past 20 years. Now Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield & Tom Holland working together for first time. Stan "The Man" Lee would be so proud of them.
Ohh I think for anyone following the trailers and promotion for the movie before release, we fully expected most if not all of the villains that appeared - so with that there was also a high likelihood that we'd see Andrew and Tobey return. I'm glad that wasn't revealed until the movie was released. It was so amazing (heh) to see them all together! I just feel my heartstrings pulled whenever Andrew Peter talks about the loss of Gwen and then the scene where he saves MJ. I knew he'd be your fav, he's got that loveable goof factor like the 11th Matt Smith.
I was fortunate enough to be able to see this on opening night with a full theater (I live in a small town, so it's a rare thing for our little theater). What a delight to be in a crowd of people who love these characters so much that they cheer when they appear on screen. It was such a great experience
This. THIS. This is why I just gotta love comic book movies. You can't always have a Endgame or a No Way Home but when someone makes a movie that is a love letter to the character and fans. I love it. Jess, this is the only time I have ever written on this channel. Your reaction was everything. I just love watching you love this movie.
At the beginning when you said ‘I hope I don’t cry’ I was like oh no 😬. Lol. This is definitely an amazing movie and being in the theatre opening night was a cool experience cause everyone reacted how you did so it was constant scream, cheering, applauding at every entrance of a past character. I was always a fan of Toby so when they recasted him in different ones it took a while for me to be okay with liking them. Then I realized that each one brings their own uniqueness to the beloved character. So having all three at the end was really cool! Glad you enjoyed it as much as we did!!
It just occurred to me that this movie kinda says "hey look, Tobey is still Spider-Man, Andrew is still Spider-Man, they all exist" so whoever is your fav, it's like you have permission to like the others too without feeling like you're cheating. I still don't count myself a huge Spider-Man fan overall but I really like this movie and it massively changed my opinion of Andrew's films too. I think it's so impressive how much they managed to do without it feeling like too many characters or a confused storyline.
I remember going to the cinema to watch this opening day. I swear in 20 years I've never seen the cinema so busy, there were queues out of the door and screenings had to be delayed by like an hour just so everyone could get in. It was insane, even more so when you remember covid was still a huge issue at the time
@@dormammu217 Granted I only started watching mcu films in the cinema with endgame, but NWH is the only film I've ever seen that could rival that atmosphere is the cinema
That scene with Otto and Peter and Otto's wife in SM2 is one of my favorite scenes in any movie. Alfred Molina, Tobey Maguire and Donna Murphy act soo naturally in that scene.
The thing about Aunt May dying is that it hits on so many levels! We've known her longer than we've known any Uncle Ben, and Marisa Tomei is so young and beautiful!! Nothing prepares you for her death!! But, every Spider-Man suffers a major loss, and this was the one for Tom Holland. This hurts!
The writers of this movie really should be commended for the crazy work they did in this. They so clearly rewatched every single one of the earlier films and took character notes. Not only is the plot solid, the character consistency is just unreal. It would have been so easy for them to phone it in (which I've seen other movies/shows do in similar circumstances). But, the filmmakers really treated the characters of these other Spider-Man films with as much respect as if they were part of the main MCU canon. To the point of, basically, finishing off the character arc of Andrew Garfield's Peter. Just amazing they made the movie this genuinely good.
I was happy to see Tobey, Andrew and the returning villains but I was ecstatic to see Matt again! I led the cheer in my theater when the cane appeared on screen :)
So don't worry about the original movies timeline they still play out the same. The actions of Peter in this film creates a few new timelines, ones where these villains return cured. So Green Goblin returns to his universe sometime after the Thanksgiving Dinner in Spider-Man 1. He and Peter never have that big fight at the end of Spider-Man 1 and Norman gets to live on into the events of an alternate Spider-Man 2 where maybe Nolan helps Doctor Octavius with his machine project, maybe it's successful in this universe. And then we'll have an alternate Spiderman 3 where Harry never turns against Peter but I imagine Sandman and Venom still show up. This is just one example Then we have a timeline where Doc Ock goes back to his universe cured and if you look closely enough he still has the Stark reactor. With insight on his death and days to think about how to stop his machine this Dock Ock could find a way to both survive and stop the machine. He could then go on to develop a machine based on Tony's Stark Reactor creating an alternate ending to Spider-Man 2 going into Spider-Man 3 where Doc Ock is still alive but Norman is of course still dead as this timeline played out the same until the very end of Spider-Man 2. This two are the most interesting ones but pretty much there's five new timelines all together. So yeah all the movies play out the same way just like how the events of Endgame changed a bunch of things like Loki disappearing. All this did was create a timeline where Loki disappeared at the end of Avengers and then the TVA came in and "fixed" everything it seems. This film could've happened because of the events of Loki as the multiverse was opened by the death of He Who Remains. I 100% believe that the two Spider-Men we see are from the original timelines featured in the films. And of course Eddie and Venom are from the Venom movies so they'll go back to that timeline. It's only the villains who go back to alternate timelines as they're "fixes" alternate the future and thus the universe corrects this by creating new timelines. Timeline A - Green Goblin is cured in Spider-Man 1 and doesn't die by his own glider. Timeline B - Doc Ock is cured at the end of Spider-Man 2, Possibly sick's his machine but survives. Timeline C - Lizard is cured sometime after he finds Peter Parkers Camera in the sewers, Gwen's dad never dies. Timeline D - Electro is cured at the end of Amazing Spider-Man 2 and maybe survives. Timeline E - Sandman is cured sometime after his chat with Peter Parker at the end of Spider-Man 3.
Okay so, I could see Goblin, Sandman,Lizard and obviouslvy Venom living. however, Ock and Electro i think are as good as dead. According to Ock himself, he had been taken from the moment he had grabbed Peter 2 by the throat, which happened in the final battle of SM2 and took place only seconds before Ock revealed that his reactor had become self-sustaining. So there's a chance,be it very slim that he survived, but it's still very possible the ended up having to drown the reactor anyways. as for Electro.... he says that he was taken miliseconds before his death in ASM2...so chances are again very slim that he survived considering that a now human Max wouldve returned to a moment in time wherein he was being pumped with enough electricity to blackout NYC... so yeah he's probably dead. atleast Otto might have survived though!
@@ssjgotenks2009 again it’s still slim as they would be working on a huge time crunch. At that point the reactor was already pulling the building down and cars from the city and it was getting bigger I believe they wouldn’t have enough time and Otto would more than likely take down the sun into the river and die to not risk anything.
I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure they made each Spider-Man's webbing unique and similar to what it looked like in their individual movies. That's amazing detail. Such a great film.
This is exactly what a reaction is all about, a merry go round of emotions, one minute you are laughing and the next one you are sincerely crying from the heart. We love you Jess. Keep up reacting because you have a good audience an the other side of the screen.
They gave Avi Arad a big thank you in the credits But do you know who else deserves a big thank you? Laura Ziskin It was because of her and her partner (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the original trilogy and TASM1 had depth Arad on the other hand just wanted to use the movies to sell toys
Don't get me wrong I love Tom and Tobey but I'm so glad this movie got to highlight Andrew's Spiderman. I always felt he was unfairly critized for his movies not being as popular even though he was always great in them. I always had TASM1 in my top 5 Spiderman movies and to me as much as Tom and Zendaya are great together, the chemistry between Andrew and Emma Stone is still unmatched
Yeah it’s not fair how he took most of the heat when the problems with the movies came from the directors and higher ups pushing for “cinematic franchise building”. Andrew himself rocked as Spidey.
Such a great movie, the nostalgia is beyond belief I feel like no other new movie has captured the true nostalgia of their franchise when they brought back old characters etc , but this really did!!
My lady, this is definitely my top 3(if not #1) Superhero movie, not just MCU movie. To me it hit just the right beats on OUR Spider-Man, and who he is and WANTS to be after everything that has happened up to this point. The ending just cements "With Great Power there must Also Come Great Responsibility" ❤ Having everyone come together the way they did was smooth and not bad at all lol even better was not just bringing back our Favorites, but elevating them and having them be "evolved" versions of the OGs we love 💕 Andrew Garfield was Phenomenal in this and im happy he was given a 2nd chnace to portray our Amazing Spider-Man❤ Tobey being the big brother we all need was awesome and im glad they all finally got to BE Spider-Man together
I saw someone recently describe this movie as 'just fan service' and I can understand that point of view but for me, it's so much more than that. They did an amazing job of creating a storyline that makes sense of why they're all there together, and the dynamic between the multiple Spider-Men and also between the villains was done really well. And it feels like it belongs as part of the MCU too, stylistically it's not confused by the other characters being there. It was very possible to make this movie and it be 'just fan service' and complete garbage but it feels like they made it with love, all the old cast were fully invested and the result is a really excellent movie.
This movie is overhyped. Yes it’s awesome on first watch but every watch after that it gets worse. You start to feel how slow the first act is and it drags the movie down a lot. No matter how much you love this movie you can’t deny the fact that it drags a lot. Like take away all the nostalgia and this movie is kind of a mess. If you don’t believe me then do your own research and you’ll find it to be true.
@WaviestChief13 it's like endgame to me If u watch endgame again u will feel that it's not that great Both no way home and endgame are om similar level of fan service while with good story not that great Spiderman 2 and spiderverse are much better movies spiderverse handled multiverse more better than no way home Sp
@@michaeljosephjackson2364 I think maybe NWH and Endgame are just better when you don't know what's coming. Those 'fan service' moments are also the big scenes where people wouldn't wanna be spoiled, but if you've already seen the movie, you're kinda spoiled for later viewings. I don't personally think it makes them less good as movies, but you can only see them 'for the first time' once, for sure.
@@bobblebardsley it's kinda like first day first show movie It's an event like endgame and no way home But spider verse is more better than no way home
Loved your reaction! You got excited at the parts I got excited about. It was so amazing seeing this post covid and it made seeing in theaters so fun as well. I hope you're recovering from your surgery and that you feel better
I'm 57, and wish I'd seen it in a theater, but I didn't. I saw the Spider-Man movies as they came out, I wasn't excited about the Andrew Garfield movies. He got to shine in this film, and I think about what could have been. I went in spoiler free, so I had similar reactions to you seeing what happened. This was so well well made, but it doesn't work if you just see it without seeing the other films. I liked that there was no cameos for the sake of it, they were all part of the plot.
Lots to cover here, so yeah. the robber that Peter stops when the guy throws the paint on him is actually played by Tom's real life brother Harry, however that scene was not in the actual movie but only in the extended version. Some of the scenes from the school are also only in the extended edition. As far as what we knew going into the movie, we knew from casting announcements and trailers and such that all 5 of the villains would be returning. There had always been talk of both Tobey and Andrew being in the movie but nothing was made concrete until the movie actually released, there was a script leak beforehand that had mentioned them returning but it was still not fully accepted as real until the movies release. Andrew even played into the uncertainty in interviews, any time he was asked if he was in the movie he would always deny it, especially with the famous "I'm not the Werewolf" answer in one interview. That script leak also mentioned Daredevils appearance in the film. So basically we had been given all the pieces of who was in the film from the beginning, but most weren't believed at the time. It's a bit of a subtle thing, but in the scene of Peter meeting MJ at the end of the movie after everyone's memory was erased, MJ is still wearing the Black Dahlia necklace that Peter gave her in Far From Home. Doc Ock's arms in this film are actually full CG. Alfred Molina was very happy about that going into this movie because previously in Spider-Man 2 his arms were fully practical, so he had to be strapped into them and 4 guys in green suits had to move the arms around and stuff. With the arms being fully CG they could do much more with them in this movie than they could if they stuck with the practical arms. Sandman was in his sand form for most of the movie because Thomas Haden Church was busy with other things and couldn't make it in to film. the talk of a black Spider-Man with Andrew and Max not only was a reference to Max's opinions, but it also references Miles Morales, a black Spider-Man from the comics and star of the Into the Spiderverse and Across the Spiderverse movies. Speaking of, this movie essentially acts as proof of concept for a live-action Spiderverse movie and a live-action Sinister Six movie, both things Sony has been actively trying to get going forever and seems to be getting close to actually realizing. Both Tobey and Andrews Spider-Man got redemption in this movie for the death in their respective series that caused them the most issues. Andrew redeemed Gwen's death by rescuing MJ and Tobey redeemed Norman's death by preventing Tom from stabbing Norman with his own glider. After this movie Andrew has become much more loved as Spider-Man than he was previously. So much so that people continue to ask for Andrew to get a 3rd movie in his series and they want him to fight Venom to fulfill the line in this movie of him wanting to fight an alien. Many even suggest that he may be the Spider-Man that ends up fighting Tom Hardy's Venom in that franchise. Many are suggesting that we may see Tobey and Andrew interacting with Tom again, likely in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars releasing in 2026. I believe both Tobey and Andrew have said that they would love to return again, so that lends credence to that.
I’m so glad you loved this movie, Jess! One of my favorite superhero movies. I love all three Spider-Men, and even tho Tom is my favorite, I liked Andrew the best in this movie! He was perfect. I teared up when he caught MJ, such a great redemption moment after Gwen. Ironically, the villains were announced ahead of time, but not Tobey and Andrew, so it was the opposite of what you knew, although there were leaks about past Spideys returning.
It's astonishing that both Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 were both overstuffed messes and yet Spider-Man: No Way Home manages to be, not just my personal favourite MCU outing, but sits right alongside Into the Spider-Verse as my personal favourite Spider-Man movie to date. It rewards longtime Spidey-fans for a nineteen-year journey they didn't even realise they were on, the acting is phenomenal from the entire cast (Willem Dafoe crushes it!), and the story is one of the most punishingly brutal reminders that with great power comes great responsibility. One of the best superhero movies ever made.
It's the difference between introducing a bunch of new villains in the same movie, vs one where the villains have appeared before. It's a shame so many comic book movies end with the villain dying. I always wonder what their revenge plot might have been a few years down the line. Raimi wanted to do Sandman, Harry Osborn Goblin and The Lizard in 3 apparently, which is why Curt Connors is introduced in Spider-man 2. Telling the story of two villains is so much easier than 3. It makes a huge difference, as is obvious to everyone but Sony apparently. They wanted to rush into a Sinister Six movie and destroyed TASM2 in the process. Such a shame because Garfield really is a phenomenal actor.
@@TomGallagherSuperboyBeyond yep. The setup (and nostalgia) was already established in previous movies meanwhile the other films introducing new characters in one film.
@@TomGallagherSuperboyBeyond Just looking at this movie proves your point - they could have easily tried to stuff another villain into the movie to have a Sinister Six, but No Way Home has juuust enough time for the five villains to have either full arcs or enough satisfying moments. A full Six would have been too much, and it was right for them to not push it for the sake of the fanboys. (And hey, they can go ahead and count Eddie & Venom as their technicality sixth if need be!)
I can't begin to tell you how much I loved your reaction to this... because you always seem to latch on to the things I latch on to with these titles. Honestly... I think one of the scenes that got me the most emotional of the many scenes that got me emotional was Matt's reaction to actually saving MJ. I also felt so sad for Happy because not only has he lost Tony, but he lost Aunt May and now he doesn't even have Peter to give him a greater purpose... especially when you think back to that scene when he saw Peter building stuff using Tony's equipment and totally getting why Tony had left it to Peter. Man... so much about this movie that I loved.
Did you notice that in the last coffee shop scene that MJ is still wearing the necklace Peter gave her in the previous movie? She may not remember Peter is Spider-Man, but she has to have some memory of where that came from...
It’s not better. You only like it because you saw the real cut first and the horrid pacing from all that extra garbage didn’t ruin your impression of the movie. No one should watch an extended cut the first time. I know it’s ironic of me to champion brevity in such a long comment, but, more is hardly ever better.
@@JulianP311 most of these reactors will only watch it once, because they have so many other things to watch. In any other case, I always say watch the theatrical cut first. As only 1 scene really messed with the pacing for me, I stand by what I said. But this has more Murdock, Andrew, Tobey, Tom, and Tom’s brother finally being in one of the movies after it having memes of it never happening. As none of it messes with the plot and they’re mostly just fun little things, this is the better cut imo.
I cried whenever you cried. It was such an emotional movie! I loved the part where Max says “I thought you were black”. Stan Lee always said that Spider-Man could be black and it was good for everyone to have representation. (I haven’t seen the Mikes Morales movie yet). Also Andrew apologizing for not living up to Max’s expectations just seems like a Peter Parker thing to do. I hope you are recovering well from your surgery. ❤
I'm at work now, but I will watch it once I'm home! I rewatched a lot of Spider-Man last year for my own Spider-Man marathon, so thank you, Jess, for doing one of your own! You're awesome! ✌🏻
Since I can never again see this absolutely incredible movie for the first time, the next best thing is to watch others seeing it for the first time....and your reactions were fantastic!! 😊 I also appreciated your comments about the depth of Spider-Man's villains, and how they are more misguided than actually evil. The scene where Peter (Tom) cures Otto, and especially the reunion of Peter (Tobey) and Otto, both brought me to tears. The scenes with the three Peters were absolutely beautiful, and hats off to all three of those amazing actors. Great video!!
16:02 Fun fact: Back in Tobey's Spiderman 2, Doc Ock explains that his arms are made of prototype nano-technology. In the first film, when Norman first met Tobey Peter, Peter remarks that he read Norman's research into nanotech to which he replied, "You understood it?" and Peter replied yes. In Tobey's world, nanotech is still being researched and looked into. Doc Ock having prototype nanotech arms was why it absorbed the Stark nano-suit. Fortunately, in Tom's universe, Tony Stark's tech is significantly advanced which led to Tom's Peter hijacking and taking over Doc Ock's arms via remote control.
For me this movie was so satisfying. All the Spider-Men having someone to talk to who understands what they've been through. But the thing for me was Doctor Octopus. He was the first Super Villain I was introduced to when I was a very young child seeing him on the old Incredible Hulk cartoon from the early 80s in an episode called: "Tomb of the unknown Hulk". Then of course he was in the 90s Spiderman animated series. Then where he became iconic in Spiderman 2! Seeing him here (that bridge fight is by far my all time favorite comic book movie fight scene ever) brought me pure joy, but seeing his character FINALLY come full circle and be cured was everything I wanted to see. Then that scene at the end where he and Toby Spiderman reunite. Knowing that Otto was his hero, and in Spiderman's eyes been dead for decades, having the ONLY thing Otto was concerned with being wanting to know how Peter was frigging broke me. Aunt May didn't do it. The Spidermen sharing their pain didn't do it. Andrew saving MJ didn't do it. That did it! Who wouldn't want someone they loved or greatly admired come back for one day just to ask you how you've been?
Just started watching and while I already know the video is going to be great and I'll enjoy your reaction, I hope everything went well with your surgery and you're recovering well now. Thank you for these videos, looking forward to when you're fully recovered.
56:03 The villains were all announced, but Matt Murdock and the other Peter Parkers were rumored but never confirmed. Eddie Brock wasn't announced either, but seemed like a lock after the mid-credits scene in Venom 2.
I just randomly got recommended this video, so I know nothing about what breathing issues you referenced at the beginning of the video, but I had a surgery earlier this year for something in my throat that affected my breathing, and I promise you any pain you have, any discomfort, push through it. It's so much better on the other side! You got this!
waterproof makeup! must invest in some. oh the feels. seeing this again made me go through so many emotions the same ones i had when i saw it in theatres. this ending & the ending to infinity war were to me the most heartbreaking endings of any movie in history. at least in the mcu. great reaction. still recovering from that ending. thanks for posting. please do more movie reactions.
I always wondered why sandman was always in his sand form and it’s because he actually wasn’t avail for this movie. He did the voiceover and they used old footage when they showed him at the end
Literally the best Spiderman movie ever, it even exceeds the success of Spiderman 2 (2004) due to how well it was made. I really enjoyed how Tobey's and Andrew's Spidermen interacted with one another and kept talking each other up. Also when Doc and Green Goblin appeared I was soo hyped
Sesska, I’m just getting started to watch your video! Get well soon! Keeping you in our thoughts! Spider-Man was one of my favorite comics growing up. Take care & be safe! Tom
Ok, I loved your reactions. I cried when I first saw the movie and I cried when you cried. So much heart and emotions in the movie. It was great seeing everyone reacting off of each other! Thank you for sharing your reactions with us, wishing you all the best!
I really enjoyed seeing this movie and seeing these three Spider-Man. From my experience, Spider-Man no way home it's just about the closest thing to a live-action version of Spider-Man into the spider-verse. All it really needed was characters such as spider Gwen and Miles Morales 😊
I saw this opening weekend and nothing had been spoiled for me, there was speculation but nothing concrete. My theatre flipped when Matt Murdock showed up ! Tobey and Andrew were just icing on the cake and of course everyone went crazy when they showed up too ! Seeing Electro with the comic accurate "star" after he got the Arc reactor was awesome ! Everyone left the theatre fulfilled. Just an amazing experience
Fun fact; this film released a like a day or two early overseas so it released the same day the episode of Hawkeye dropped revealing Wilson Fisk. Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk joined the MCU on the same day.
For me, Tobey is THE Spiderman I grew up with, Andrew is the BEST spiderman and Tom is a GREAT spiderman, but, for me, he just hasn't been able to compete with the other two. Andrew is just a more versatile actor than the other two and after Spiderman 2, his movies rank really high for me, no matter what anyone else says
I've experienced two of the loudest cheers I've ever heard in a cinema the last couple of years, one was Cap catching Mjolnir then 2nd was Andrew catching Zendeya and the Andrew was noticabley louder.
I think one of the most amazing things about this movie is that Rhys Ifans (Lizard) and Thomas Hayden Church (Sandman) didn't record anything new for the movie, audio or video. They used footage from the previous movies and a small amount of unused footage of them both to create the characters we see in this one. That's crazy to consider given how much they are both in this movie.
I love the return of the classic comic book concept of what a hero is at the end of this film. Losing that which you care most about to save others... "It's what we do"
I try to avoid spoilers like the plague. But I couldn’t completely avoid some of the ones about this movie. I wish there was a way to have a filter on everything so you can avoid any spoilery content.
Your reaction is worth a fortune lady (priceless). This movie to me was a childhood dream come true! I also lost my shit when the Villains arrive with original actors from 2 other Spider-Men actor’s movies, along with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire returning as Spider Man.
I adored everything about this movie (except for the back-to-the-roots ending). It was clearly made with love. They managed to pay tribute to all three Peters AND their villains, and they managed to make the oldies look cool while reminding us why we love the Home trilogy. Your screams were very much warranted! It had some iconic moments.
@9:00 - Not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere in your comments, but Tom Holland and Zendaya are in a real-life relationship. They met and became friends doing Homecoming, and it has grown to where they have been dating a few years.
Months before the film’s release, footage of Andrew Garfield on set was leaked. It contained no audio and showed Garfield in Spider-Man costume, leaning on a railing debate on the internet weather the footage was real or deepfaked. The footage later turned out to be real, and takes place when the three Spider-Men are discussing Maguire web fluid being natural. The movement that leak online was when Garfield’s Spider-Man asked “Do you ever get web block?”
100% agree with the Andrew Garfield take. I genuinely loved his Peter and his Spider-Man even before this movie. I hate that those movies struggled with the writing issues they had because he and Emma Stone were fantastic. This movie is great. Also love that this is basically Tom Holland's Spider-Man's starting point that we always see Spider-Man in... broke, small apartment, little support, no Avengers, etc. It's great.
Andrew saving MJ is one of the most cathartic moments in modern cinema

And to be fair, Marisa Tomei IS quite attractive, so a "nice outfits" montage DOES work with her.
Ohh I think for anyone following the trailers and promotion for the movie before release, we fully expected most if not all of the villains that appeared - so with that there was also a high likelihood that we'd see Andrew and Tobey return. My theatre was jam packed and everyone went crazy when Matt Murdock, Tobey and Andrew showed up. Best movie experience I've had in the past 20 years.
@@dormammu217 Granted I only started watching mcu films in the cinema with endgame, but NWH is the only film I've ever seen that could rival that atmosphere is the cinema
Tom’s a terrific actor every time he cried l cried and the ending is so sad but great at the same time can’t wait for the fourth movie
"It's good to see you dear boy"
That entire scene with Tobey and Doc Ock, felt like it was talking to my childhood self
That scene with Otto and Peter and Otto's wife in SM2 is one of my favorite scenes in any movie. Alfred Molina, Tobey Maguire and Donna Murphy act soo naturally in that scene.
Norman, Otto, and Andrew's Peter were just life. Loved it so much.
If you are reading this Jess, I hope you are ok and not in pain. Hope the surgery went well.
😿
The thing about Aunt May dying is that it hits on so many levels! We've known her longer than we've known any Uncle Ben, and Marisa Tomei is so young and beautiful!! Nothing prepares you for her death!! But, every Spider-Man suffers a major loss, and this was the one for Tom Holland. This hurts!
As soon as May said the "great power" line, all the comic book readers in the audience knew....
Toms spidy also lost iron man uncle Ben( inferred in homecoming) and now all his friends including his girlfriend can’t wait for Tom’s next movie
This was so special. I've always loved Spiderman and seeing them all together, along with doc oc and green goblin was just *chef's kiss*
This is just one example
Then we have a timeline where Doc Ock goes back to his universe cured and if you look closely enough he still has the Stark reactor.
@@cl3f473 you forger ock take tony arc with him so he can sotp tyhe maghine with it
@@ssjgotenks2009 again it’s still slim as they would be working on a huge time crunch. At that point the reactor was already pulling the building down and cars from the city and it was getting bigger I believe they wouldn’t have enough time and Otto would more than likely take down the sun into the river and die to not risk anything.
Doc Ock would have returned almost immediately before he died as that's when he found out that Peter was Spider-Man.
Also, Electro may or may not have been able to talk Harry down after the latter finds out Peter is Spidey.
Gwen may or may not have died.
Spider-Man is always pulling punches. Spider-Man has enough strength to punch straight through someones head.
"I'm something of a scientist myself"❤
I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure they made each Spider-Man's webbing unique and similar to what it looked like in their individual movies. That's amazing detail. Such a great film.
This is exactly what a reaction is all about, a merry go round of emotions, one minute you are laughing and the next one you are sincerely crying from the heart. We love you Jess. Keep up reacting because you have a good audience an the other side of the screen.
Omg your reaction to Andrew saving MJ was EVERYBODY’s reaction! Seeing that moment in the theater is something I will never forget.
This movie was powerful! Just powerful!! Genuinely was surprised by how heavy it got!!
They gave Avi Arad a big thank you in the credits
But do you know who else deserves a big thank you?
Laura Ziskin
It was because of her and her partner (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the original trilogy and TASM1 had depth
Arad on the other hand just wanted to use the movies to sell toys
I mean... dang, they got this right. What a way to put together every meaningful thing.
This is my most favorite Spider-Man film! Witnessing this in the theaters was the greatest experience of my life!
So much of this movie could have been avoided if only Dr. Strange had a pre-op meeting with his patient. JFC XD
Toby will always be my favorite. But honestly, Norman is my favorite character in this movie.

@@bobblebardsley it's kinda like first day first show movie

Immediately fast forwards to Garfield catching MJ and was not disappointed!
I am so excited to see this! Been really enjoying your reactions to the Spider Man films :D
Aint no way u wrote all that💀💀
I’m so glad you loved this movie, Jess!
Tom is phenomenal in every movie he does and especially as Spider-Man in his 6 movies so far starting with civil war he’s my favorite
I have watched and re-watched your reactions to Matt over and over! I love it!
Both the theatrical cut and this extended version of Spider-Man no way home are incredible
#IBlameAviArad
@@analidiatomaz5462 I do, every single time.
I cannot describe in words how happy I am that you ended up watching the Extended Cut of No Way Home. It’s just so much better.
TIL there's an extended cut of No Way Home.
That's what I love about Spider-Man. Anyone can be under the mask, including LGBTQ+ people, which is an amazing & beautiful thing.
I'm at work now, but I will watch it once I'm home! I rewatched a lot of Spider-Man last year for my own Spider-Man marathon, so thank you, Jess, for doing one of your own! You're awesome! ✌🏻
The best superhero movie by a mile in a long time!!! You’re reaction to this was everything! Exactly what viewers want from a reaction❤️
Really loved your reaction to this and hope you're recovering well from your surgery.
OMG, your "Wongers" reaction at 11:54 was the most adorable thing I've seen in weeks.
Just started watching and while I already know the video is going to be great and I'll enjoy your reaction, I hope everything went well with your surgery and you're recovering well now. Thank you for these videos, looking forward to when you're fully recovered.

I hope the surgery went well! I'm glad you're gonna be able to breath better. Take care
56:03 The villains were all announced, but Matt Murdock and the other Peter Parkers were rumored but never confirmed.
Eddie Brock wasn't announced either, but seemed like a lock after the mid-credits scene in Venom 2.
“Norman‘s on sabbatical, honey.“
I just randomly got recommended this video, so I know nothing about what breathing issues you referenced at the beginning of the video, but I had a surgery earlier this year for something in my throat that affected my breathing, and I promise you any pain you have, any discomfort, push through it. It's so much better on the other side! You got this!

Such a good movie saw it opening day , one those memorable movies like star wars you remember the feeling you got getting out of the movie.
No Way Home and the Spider-Verse movies were Marvel's love letters to Spider-Man.
I always wondered why sandman was always in his sand form and it’s because he actually wasn’t avail for this movie. He did the voiceover and they used old footage when they showed him at the end

The scene with peters spider sense going crazy senseing the goblin geeks me out so much
Literally the best Spiderman movie ever, it even exceeds the success of Spiderman 2 (2004) due to how well it was made.
It’s a pattern when u think about it anyone who says that line dies It like a curse
This movie was an absolute triumph.
Thanks for sharing such a genuine, heartfelt reaction to a great movie experience!
Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield showing up felt a lot like Steve and Joe popping up in the new Blue’s Clues
I don’t care what anyone says… much respect to Andrew and Tom as Spider-Man’s, but TOBEY will forever be the REAL-BEST Spider-Man in my book 💯
I love the return of the classic comic book concept of what a hero is at the end of this film. Losing that which you care most about to save others... "It's what we do"
I love that you are honest about being spoiled. I always wonder how reactors don't know what the big movies have in them! Are they living under rocks!
9:07 minor bit of Trivia, Flash's book's title Flashpoint is a nod to DC, Flashpoint being a major storyline in The Flash's history.
I loved the Spider-man "brothers" in action! Also great to see all those classic Spidey villains!
It's great.
