      Awesome! to me, the shadow felt a bit too much soft, the detail is kinda lost, compared to the actual car next to it, the car looked real though.

      I'm sorry for that but in this video I wanted to show how I usually do it. The title was already too long to precise you needed after effects. What you can do is track and color correct your footage in Blender.

    @brainz80 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I'd like to remember Andrew Kramer saying something about a After Effects plugin that copies the noise of your footage. Here I'd say it wasn't needed. But in some cases the noise helps add to the realism

    • @brainz80
      @brainz80 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You should always match the edge/subject "blurriness" of other objects in the composition, i.e. the car right next to it, unless it's an 8k footage. No footage is perfectly focused at a certain distance which in this case gives away the realism with those hard model edges composited over the original plate. A fast 1%/2% box/gaussian/lens blur would've given you really good results.

    This is actually pretty GOOD! Video copilot came up with Element 3D which is one of the most powerful tools for After Effects and yet it is still very difficult to make things look real in After Effects but I found that 3D application software like Blender do so much better in creating real 3D objects and creating amazing scenes within them because of the real life rendering once all the editing is done. And that can't be done in After Effects. I wish After Effects had a mode where once all the editing is done, you click on the realism render button and BOOM you get real life footage.

    It looks better than in some of today's movies actually.)) Thanks for the video! Would be great if there were more comments, but even as it is, still very nice. The only few mistakes from my perspective are lighting (but as you said it's just because you've changed enviroment without checking), some of reflections and we can't see any suspension work here, which is quite crucial, because if it were here it would look much more convincing, BUT it is a SIMPLE tutorial not a full and complete Hollywood blockbuster making tutorial, so I think it's still amazing! Would love to see more hard (and more comprehensive) one in a future, subscribed for that. ;)

    for those that have tried this in 2.80 and failed there is another solution. If the After effects tracker is successful, then create solids from its trackers, fill them with black colour and export the footage(with the black solids). Then you can try the Blender motion tracking on these new trackers.

      Zuivixoile just learn the interface & try basic extrusions & I was the same situation as u were! But then I understood these 4 words ===> Pulling & Pushing Vertices ! & Now I'm able to make some decent things !

      @Zuivixoile you need to not give up...keep working hard and you will be good! just don't give up! if u everyday work hard u will eventually come to a harder challenge! but if you work harder you can beat it. Its hard... but you have to try.

    I miss the reflection I mean this going through the left side of a car has to see the shadow on the car doors to the right to say it is real, right?
