Gulch and hands of god played a memorial show for the guitarist of outta pocket in December. Both bands were done nobody expected them to come back. Best show I’ve ever witnessed
Elliot and Cole used to be in a band called “true hearted” it’s still availible on bandcamp .. also features homies from big boy and sunami. Super sick. I wish they released more under the band True Hearted
I really enjoyed this video & watched some more of your videos after this & enjoyed those too, subscribed. Keep makin stuff & I’ll keep watchin, thanks for posting! I love Gulch so this was perfect
I've been getting into Gulch lately, and this video was pretty cool to watch. Also I didn't know Sammy was in Gulch, and I fucking love Drain, so that's a plus. Awesome video, you gained a subscriber! Bring some more 😁
Being both a huge black metal and death metal fan, I don't agree with you at all. There's definitely more of a death metal/grindcore and hardcore influence to the riffs. Just because there is a lot of Tremelo picking doesn't automatically make it black metal. That being said there definitely are black metal influences from time to time
@@sourraichu5268he went to az and bashed everyone in the state because az is known world wide for being soft as shit. They actually won softest state on earth that year
The little “I’m going to r word you” looks you give to the camera are so off-putting. I know I probably shouldn’t even say anything at all if I can’t say something nice but I’m in a bad mood and don’t care the little looks you throw at the camera feel violating.
hey man i was also at nsfw dallas. s/o fubu. such a solid night & line up. it would’ve been tight to hear you talk about how everyone in zulu rushed the stage to confront the original sound guy who had a MAGA hat + lighting bolt tattoos and how Elliot from gulch ran from the right side of the stage - jumped over the drum set to the left where the sound guy was and apparently chased him in the parking lot. wild ass night for sure
sick, i did see that happen but didn’t know the context. glad to hear that though lol cause the ridglea theater blacklisted hardcore shows shortly after

I hope they come back one day man I became a fan too late :/
same
That final tour was nuts, super grateful they let us come out and film the chicago stop.
Great video
The music sounds like grindcore without blast beats. Which I enjoy.
Grindcore riffs. Really a grindcore riff in Finland can be a hardcore punk riff in the Bay.
Except they have blast beats
@@riv6580 I'm talking about the riffs, I'm dropping jewels here
@pff1974
They weren't responding to you...

Sammy might the best front man ever.
gulch is hardcore punk power violence

“Fobo Flyer” is a real person?! I always thought he was a myth.
check out gagging order, homie drums
Gulch has a LOT of black metal style riffs. More so than Death metal.

Ok, maybe me saying more so was a bit much. God damn it. I was wrong. Fuckin hell @@TrickshootingProject
It’s very thrashy in a way
@@TrickshootingProject hardcore riffs are power chords, and i dont hear this here that much
@@RibeiroGames12 that’s the majority of their music.
I see you got the nsfweekend shirt
I was looking for the original "Gulch" which started out as a band called Hostility in Kansas back in the late 80's.
That band sucks dick. This is the real gulch.
Grindcore? Where? Like foreal where?
Y’all missed out on that shit 😂
The vocalist came to az and tried to get tough with the wrong people 😂😂😂😂
Elaborate

This is a zesty ass mini documentary
Bay Area might be the most overrated scene in the world
