    First, Miura passes away.
then my grandfather passes away at the age of 87.
Then literally on the same day of his funeral, I find out a friend from my school had died in a car crash...8 months ago, and I didn't know because I had purged myself from social media for a time. Trying to turn inward instead of looking outward constantly...
And then of course, as I'm finally catching up on facebook to see what has been happening in my friends lives, on the same day mind you; I found out one of my marching band buddies also took their own lives.
It is a pain i cannot describe properly with words so instead I'll tell you the physical result was. I had a complete breakdown at the end of 2021. No i didn't sob heavily or scream at the top of the hills in agony, i don't really cry much, But instead, had the worst panic attack of my entire life. I couldn't even move. I essentially fell on the floor, my heart rate had skyrocketed. My body felt tingly, I was cold, and I was alone. It stayed like this. Kinda thought I may be dying.
But it passed and afterwards sitting up, alone on my livingroom carpet....think I realized something.
    I'm okay.
This was just a more extreme version of the pain i felt when guts lost his friends. He lost parts of himself literally and figuratively just like i had lost my family and friends. I knew this pain at a less extreme level so surely, this too would pass. This pain. And I'll just pick I'll myself up again and keep walking.
If berserk had not taught me to accept not only pain, but myself, I may have followed the same path. So
Thank you Kentaro Miura. I will never forget your lessons.

      Hello
Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial.
On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there.
Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes but don't you just hate it when people can't let go of your past mistakes.
I saw your profile and it intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about who you are and what type of path you would like on in life. Can we talk?

I can’t stop thinking about him, and my heart feels heavy. Reading Berserk suddenly has so much more meaning.
I don’t feel sad because the story will have no ending, but because I feel we lost someone brilliant.
It’s so hard at times to see the human being behind the work, and as a fan of both Berserk and Hunter, I know how frustrating the wait can be at times. But their job is extremely demanding. Mangakas like him give so much of themselves to make this stories. The interviews about his early years are so hard to read. They damage their health in ways that cannot be repaired later.
I don’t care anymore if Togashi never ends Hunter. Miura and him gave the world amazing moments, and they should be allowed to do things at they’re own pace.
Rest is peace Miura. You will be missed.

Berserk was a masterpiece beyond masterpieces. Very few manga can hope to compare to Kentaro Miura's magnum opus. It's a tragedy beyond words that he didn't get to see it finished.
At the very least, his friend, Kouji Mori, will see to it that his vision is realized as best as can be done, but Miura deserved to see its realization with his own eyes, achieved by his own hands.
Nonetheless, rest easy, Miura-sensei. Through your legacy and through the stories and lives you have inspired with your own, your struggle has made you immortal.

As it stands, the ending of Berserk is that Griffith did in fact get to have his perfect life and his Kingdom without ever facing to justice, and in fact he has even made many people very happy in the process. Was Griffith justified for believing he could create a more beautiful kingdom than anyone else? Was it worth sacrificing the lives of the Band of the Hawk?
And what can we learn from Guts? Our last memory of Guts is that he never gave up on his friends or betrayed them, and he even succeeded in bringing Casca back to life and saving her soul. Guts is the one true honorable man in Berserk, and no matter what Griffith ever does or ever says, Griffith will always be forced to accept that Guts was the better man, as he received no deus ex machina or special power granted to him... there is only one struggler who survived it all on his own, the Black Swordsman, the Hundred Man Slayer, Kentaro Miura's >>>>> GUTS!!!
