I'm writing a series inspired by berserk for the fans who've lost such an amazing creator. Created a group for updates.
One more similarity between the manga and the video games is the fact that they both had humble beginnings. When Berserk first chapter was released it had only 28k sales, but when Miura passed away it had already surpassed the 2M sales marks. Not to mention the impact that the whole manga had on entertainment Manga and video gamea included. Dark Souls started as a niche video game that not many people played or heard about, but now with Elden Ring it became the talk of the gaming world and won game of the year. The soul series also established a new genre now and inspired many other video games
You're not the only one hitting the gym after reading Berserk. The shots of Casca's back during her time with Guts in the forest went in my workout journal as inspiration
Already read it pal, and I never regretted making that decision because it truly is a masterpiece! 🖤
“Tell me about how he died..”
“No, I’ll tell you about how he lived”
Berserk and soulsebourne games are literally my two fave things in the world
Thank you for this tribute
Nice tribute, thanks
This is a fantastic analysis, great work!
I feel a lot like you man. I guess huge Berserk fans have many similarities.
Just earned my subscribe. Great explanation and content 👏 , berserk is so great
So odd cause berserk and guts was the first thing that made me to start working out back when I was 18 (im 25 now) and with my own health stuff it's possibly one of the most positive things I have in my life and I didn't even really connect that Berserk had ever been a motivator until now. And it absolutely was. I'm so happy the Miura and Berserk existed/exists.
Shit man. I am currently working in my 3D Thesis project of university in a world building theme, my inspirations of course are from bloodborne and dark souls. I just found out about the passing of Kentaro, big big big hit for the artist community and storytelling artists as a whole. Incredible that his work have inspired so many people around the world.
Vereor Nox.
Yea man it sucks. Gonna be a long time before we see something so inspirational as berserk again
@@Ziostorm Inspirational AND cultural, because an entire new videogame genre was basically born from his work. So sad.
If they ever interview Miyazaki one day and ask him if he thinks the Soulsborne legacy surpasses that of Berserk, he will 100% say "No" and without hesitation. Miura created this masterpiece manga and story...BY HIMSELF. Let that sink in. One of the most talented storytellers and artists the world has ever known, bar none.
This is a great channel. You have a bright future in content creation if they ever release another From Software title.
Thank you. Hope Elden Ring comes soon
Me too. Im sure its going to blow us all away.
It still hurts.
We lost a great manga creator RIP Kentaro Miura condolences to his family🙏
Amazing speech my friend, you've got a subscriber👍
Thank you man.
As a book-lover, I was after a game series with deep lore, so was attracted to Dark Souls.
I fell in love with the series, & heard recently of Berserk & it's influence on Soulsborne games.
So, having never have read any Manga, this year I started to read Berserk.
Within a couple of pages, I was drawn into Gut's world, the intriguing story & astounded by Miura's stunning art, complex story-telling, & wonderful characters.
Can't wait to be able to invest in the rest of the gorgeous collector editions & continue with Gut's story 💗
Rest in peace, you incredible human, Kentaro Miura 👏🌹
Highly recommend vinland saga if you like berserk, its another seinen dark fantasy manga worth the read! First season is also beautifully animated as well if you wanna start there.
@@ahzura9446 okay, will keep in mind. Thanks😊
Finally someone made a video about this
Thank you Kentaro
This was very inspiring
