1. 1 Shout to God with joy, all nations.
2 Sing the glory of His name;
Make your praises sound His glory.
3 Say, “How awesome are Your deeds!”
So great is Your mighty power
All Your foes are filled with shame.
4 All the earth will bow in worship,
Singing glory to Your name!
2. 5 Come and see God’s mighty doings,
Awesome deeds in man’s affairs.
6 He the Red Sea made a highway,
They walked through without a care.
There in Him we were rejoicing;
7 He rules ever by His might.
On the nations He is watching;
Let not rebels rise to fight.
3. 8 Bless our God, O all you nations,
Let His praises loudly sound.
9 He preserves our lives in safety:
10 For, O God, You tested us.
You refined us just like silver,
11 Made us pris’ners, bent our backs.
12 Men oppressed, through fire and water,
But at length You set us free.
4. 13 I’ll come to Your holy dwelling
With burnt offerings for You.
I’ll fulfill the vows I promised,
14 Vows I made in my distress.
15 I will offer on Your altar
Choicest beasts in sacrifice,
With fine rams- a sweet aroma;
I will bring both bulls and goats.
5. 16 Come and listen, all Godfearers;
Hear what He has done for me.
17 In my plea, I gave Him praises,
18 No sin cherished in my heart;
For the Lord would not have listened;
19 But God surely heard my pray’r.
20 Praise God! He has not refused me,
Nor withheld from me His care.
