The actual letter was amazing, Pilate mentioned the name of the guard that reported back the light they witnessed during the resurrection, To God be the Glory. Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
I would say that it is very good news that Pilate regretted his role in Christ's trial and crucifixion. I hope he repented of his part in all of that before he died.
I've seen him face to face all the way through my life beginning with before I was born but he does not look anything like any of the pictures I have ever seen published by anyone.
@@lorenbush8876 I too have seen him face to face and I have published the words that he spoke. People on our training courses also saw him walking with me and it brought many back to him. Years later I came across a bust of him that was unearthed in an ancient Greco-Buddhist city close to the border of Afghanistan, it was a perfection depiction of him and his fine features. I shared the picture of the bust of him with a friend. He shared that in his back-packing days travelling through Afghanistan in the 70s, the tribesmen that he met in the area were still talking about the holy man that had come to them from Israel.
@@lorenbush8876 I saw Him face to face only once. He was a baby in a cradle. He appeared on my grandmother's front lawn, on a lovely street in Toronto lined with giant trees at about 3 AM. I could feel that something momentous was about to happen, and my best friend was dancing around in the dark saying, 'We made it, we made it!' I saw only the tip of a gigantic pendulum go past my face. It came slowly back and stopped right at my feet. I looked down and there was a cradle with an infant with bright, glowing and beautifully smiling face - a tiny boy in a blue blanket.
Wow!! The description of Jesus and his eyes and gentle nature made me cry! He never laughed but many remember him crying - he was well-acquainted with grief and sorrow... Well I bet we will see and hear Him laughing in heaven, praise God!!! Great video!! Maranatha!!!💗💗
I wonder if he was woke, of had a behavioural or mental problem because it is recorded that he was never seen to be smiling or laughing.... but he was seen crying, by many?? Was he depressed? To me, if I was looking for inspiration, I would find it hard to be enthusiastic about someone with a sad disposition. I like a little brightness in my life.
@martin9410 I wonder why you say that. Archyolagy. I hope I spelt that right. Finds real things. I did read as a small girl. But I don't know where. Towards the beginning of Jesus returning to earth. There will be many findings from what was told in the bible. I belive Noah's ark has been found. I personally think that the ark of the covenant also was discovered. The story of how it was hidden makes me think it is true. But I could be wrong. Either way I found the lost books of the bible are a good read and fills a lot of questions that we have. God bless you
Hallelujah Amen. I don't need any evidence to believe, God wrote the truth on my heart. Although, I do love seeing the things like Noah's ark and dead Sea scrolls etc. Have you seen Ron Wyatt's discoveries! The results of the dry blood is Astonishing, none could have thought that up, it's perfect!!

@ 8:20 ~ When I was in my late twenties I saw Jesus in a vision (around the year of 1985) and I would describe his overall coloring to be like a soft bronze; a cross between chestnut and golden, his shoulder length hair was curly, he was over six feet tall and very handsome. His eyes even seemed to have a burnished bronze color with golden highlights in them. When He looks at you it’s as if you are the only person or thing in the room. His earnest look is full of both love and amusement. I didn’t recognize who he was at first, but when he approached me I felt a strong stirring in my heart as I was thrilled and honored to stand in such a great presence. 💗
God told me that Jesus was a black man and this was why the white jews rejected him as Messiah. They REFUSED to believe their Messiah would be a black man but DNA testing today proves the Israelites are from the black race.
Hmmmm.... Isaiah 53:2 says "He has no form or comeliness, and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him"!!! So do we go by a vision or letter, or by what Abba's Word says?😮

So Pilate feared for his own power and control. He gave up an innocents life to protect himself and control of Jerusalem. That is as true today for the rich and powerful.
Yes, but it had to happen that way, as Jesus had control of everything, and His entire purpose was to be the ultimate sacrifice. Pilate had no control over the situation, and God used him to fulfill the mission.
@@nikkibayo Actually sister, Pilate did have control over the situation. That's freewill. God just knew the choices he would make. God has known the End since the Beginning and *everything* in between.

When Pilate asked Jesus - " What is truth ? " - Truth was standing before his face ! There is no greater truth than that which Jesus revealed and is recorded in the Holy Scriptures. Truth is an aspect and virtue of Love, in fact, Truth is Love. God is Love and He is Truth and He is a Spirit, all combined into one. Jesus and God are One ! May God bless those who read this and understand ! I love you all but Jesus loves you more than I ever could ! A friend always !
I think about Pilate sometimes ! He said , I find no fault in him ! He said look at the Man !? There are people in the bible I wish I knew more about ! Like Joseph husband of Mary ! What an amazing Man and we know nothing about him . Pilate , he's there and plays a role , unimaginable ,one can feel the burden when he speaks , He washed his hands of the judgement ! When Pilate said what is truth , I think it was from shame and disgust ! We don't know what happened to him after Jerusalem , I hope he converted, I hope he found peace ! GOD so loved the world ,he gave his only begotten son ? Love is truth ,but it's beyond sinful souls to understand this kind of love , truth is also beyond our attempts to understand it ! In the world today , when I look around , What is TRUTH ! Our Lord Jesus Christ said let know man deceive you , he pointed to DECEPTION As the principal sign of the last days ! We are deceived every day ,this truly is a time of deception ! JESUS CHRIST IS TRUTH ,HE IS LORD ,KING OF KINGS ! HE IS THE ONLY WAY ! AND HE IS LIFE ! No turning back no turning back, though none go with me , I still will follow, my past behind me ,the cross before me ! No turning back ,no turning back I have decided to follow JESUS ,no turning back ! GOD bless and keep you ! Have a nice Sunday , GOD bless and keep you . Amen .

Jesus did not have long hair, as portrayed in the movies, pictures, and media and neither was the son of God puny, skinny, weak, short, with a homeless appearance, dirty, hippie like, etc. Jesus was a perfect man, son of the all mighty God. The movies depict Jesus with a very awful appearance. ● Features: Jesus was a Jew and likely inherited common Semitic traits from his mother. (Hebrews 7:14) It is unlikely that his features were especially distinctive. On one occasion he was able to travel in secret from Galilee to Jerusalem without being recognized. (John 7:10, 11) And he apparently did not stand out even among his closest disciples. Recall that Judas Iscariot had to identify Jesus to the armed crowd that arrested him.-Matthew 26:47-49. ● Hair length: It is unlikely that Jesus’ hair was long, because the Bible says that “long hair is a dishonor to a man.”-1 Corinthians 11:14. In instructions to priests given through the prophet Ezekiel, God commanded that they clip, but not shave, the hair of their heads and that they not wear their hair loose when serving in the temple. -Ezek 44:15, 20. ● Beard: Jesus wore a beard. He followed Jewish law, which prohibited adult males from ‘disfiguring the edges of their beard.’ (Leviticus 19:27; Galatians 4:4) Also, the Bible mentions Jesus’ beard in a prophecy about his suffering.-Isaiah 50:6. ● Body: All indications are that Jesus was physically robust. During his ministry, he traveled many miles. (Matthew 9:35) He cleansed the Jewish temple twice, overturning the tables of money changers, and once drove out livestock with a whip. (Luke 19:45, 46; John 2:14, 15) McClintock and Strong’s Cyclopedia states: “The whole evangelical narrative indicates [Jesus’] sound and vigorous bodily health.”-Volume IV, page 884. ● Facial expressions: Jesus was warm and compassionate, and his facial expressions no doubt reflected this. (Matthew 11:28, 29) People of all sorts sought him out for comfort and help. (Luke 5:12, 13; 7:37, 38) Even children felt at ease in his presence.-Matthew 19:13-15; Mark 9:35-37. Misconceptions about Jesus’ appearance Misconception: Some argue that Jesus must have been of African descent because the book of Revelation compares his hair to wool and his feet to “burnished bronze.”-Revelation 1:14, 15, The New Jerusalem Bible. Fact: The book of Revelation is presented “in signs.” (Revelation 1:1) The description of Jesus’ hair and feet uses symbolic language to illustrate Jesus’ qualities after his resurrection, not to describe his physical appearance when he was on earth. In saying that Jesus’ “head and his hair were white as white wool, as snow,” Revelation 1:14 uses color, not texture, as a point of comparison. This represents his wisdom due to age. (Revelation 3:14) This verse is not comparing the texture of Jesus’ hair to that of wool any more than it is comparing the texture of his hair to that of snow. Jesus’ feet looked “like fine copper when glowing in a furnace.” (Revelation 1:15) Also, his face was “like the sun when it shines at its brightest.” (Revelation 1:16) Since no race has skin color matching these descriptions, this vision must be symbolic, showing the resurrected Jesus as the one “who dwells in unapproachable light.”-1 Timothy 6:16. Misconception: Jesus was weak and frail. Fact: Jesus was manly in his behavior. For example, he boldly identified himself to the armed crowd that came to arrest him. (John 18:4-8) Jesus must also have been physically strong to have worked as a carpenter using manual tools.-Mark 6:3. Why, then, did Jesus need help to carry his torture stake? And why did he die before the others executed with him died? (Luke 23:26; John 19:31-33) Just prior to Jesus’ execution, his body was seriously weakened. He had been up all night, in part because of emotional agony. (Luke 22:42-44) During the night the Jews had mistreated him, and the next morning the Romans had tortured him. (Matthew 26:67, 68; John 19:1-3) Such factors likely hastened his death. Misconception: Jesus was always somber, melancholy. Fact: Jesus perfectly reflected the qualities of his heavenly Father, Jehovah, whom the Bible describes as “the happy God.” (1 Timothy 1:11; John 14:9) In fact, Jesus taught others how to be happy. (Matthew 5:3-9; Luke 11:28) These facts indicate that Jesus often reflected happiness in his facial expressions.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God because it is in God's Holy Word, the Bible. I think it is wonderful that a document like Pilate's letter has been found. I confirms what I already know to be TRUE! Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven! He is coming back soon...!
Thank you for sharing this information. I have heard that there were things outside of the Bible that proved Jesus existence, but never knew what they said. Thank you! I know he lives as He lives within my heart.
There is at least one Roman source that definitively proves Jesus existed, written a few decades after his death. But outside of Christian sources, we don't have more than that. As a Christian, those sources, the Bible and the non-canonical gospels, are good enough for me. But this video offers no proof of the authenticity of this letter.
How is it that this important letter is only now revealed? When and where and by whom is this letter discovered. Can we get some more background on this please?
Take care. When it comes to historical documents you have to establish they are what they say they are. If this really was written by Pilate it would be included in the Bible. Also the description of Jesus, does seem out of Place. Look at the same documents of the same time they don't have a lot of description in them. Someone is pulling a fast one here.

This description seems to be of a European rather than that of Hebrew heritage. Perhaps this is what prompted the universal picture of Jesus many many people claiming Christianity as their/our religion have used as a true portrait of Jesus. His heritage was of a Godly likeness…maybe means His Spirit is the likeness of the Eternal Creator not his flesh and blood physical appearance…? But would not explain His European looks of a physical mixed heritage…of DNA.
There is another possible answer..in the Fact that other cultures of different skin and hair colorings bear…do tend to see and paint portraits of Jesus in their own physical characteristics…?

Isaiah describes Jesus. Here it is Isaiah 53:2 - For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
That is according to the crucifixion; he was marred didn't even look human. You have to remember he was born of the spirit. Isaac, Joseph and others were very similar.
That was truly amazing. The reason given for his murder aligns with my own belief that he was silenced by those who saw him as a threat. It is clear that this letter has been buried for centuries to avoid any comparison of this accurate historical account to the Church's teaching that his death was all about sacrifice and salvation.
It's about BOTH though. His death was for our salvation, and the means to that earthly death was because the Pharisees wanted him silenced. So what's the point of a comparison? They are both true.
*From the earthly perspective, the corrupt Jewish leaders of His day wanted to silence Him because of envy, yes -- and fear for their own positions, because they KNEW He was the truly-qualified High Priest / King of Israel. Heaven's purpose, on the other hand, was our Lord's voluntary Self-sacrifice as our Savior and Redeemer. One is the earthly purpose / motivation; the other is our Lord's perfect purpose. @@anniejohnx He taught the word of God. The Jews knew the One God as opposed to the pagan gods. The Jews were the ones that wanted him silenced for sharing the One God with the pagans. He wanted the word for all people not just Jews. He was converting non believers. The Jewish hierarchy hated that. There was no way the Jewish 'race' was going to accept any gentile into their clans. No way. Jews are still mostly non inclusive. It was time for the old gods to be put aside for the One God and it was his mission to bring the Gentiles to God through him. So he formed a new religion to spread the word across the land and separate from the Jewish faith. Jewish beliefs and Christian beliefs are not that different because Christianity was born from the Jewish faith.
Pilate regarded Jesus as non-rebellious and granted him freedom to preach, seeing no threat in his teachings. Jesus’ maxims, such as “Render unto Caesar the things which belong to Caesar,” impressed Pilate and reflected Jesus' wisdom. 07:06
What I find most interesting is that when Jesus is asked what religion He was, he says, " I am a King and my Kingdom is not of this world." I am so VERY glad you found the letter. I recall reading about it years ago. I have long stated that no flesh could have one single gene that made him offspring of Almighty God, Yehovah, as Ron Wyatt and Jerusalem scientists revealed of the still living blood he collected from the Temple’s Mercy Seat; yet, could be described by modern teachers as homely. Is not the Most High the perfection and is not mankind made in His image? When we are made perfect, without sin, will we not be just as comely? I had a vision of Yeshua while struggling with Faith. I kept praying, Father, I believe; take away my unbelief! In the vision, all I could see was the swirling of the universe in his eyes. His face was shadowed under a hood of sorts. I never doubted after that! What an awesome and gracious Father we have!!

The Bible says that there was “nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.” Isaiah 53:2 “He had no beauty to attract us to him!” So it’s odd that Romans would describe him like he was super handsome. Jesus was born plain in looks, was financially poor and was born in a stable. Beauty and wealth mean everything to humans, clearly they mean nothing to God.
Good observation. The Bible says that there would be nothing physically to draw us to Him. Correct. This was written by a believer about the 4th to 5th century.
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. My late husband had what's described as chestnut-colored hair and as the weather got warmer, the sun would lighten his hair to a golden brown. My son's hair is the same but whenever I give him a haircut, his hair actually looks lighter, and the hair I would cut off looks much darker. I describe his hair as dark blond and his teachers describe his hair as brown. From my experience with my husband and son, I'm very familiar with what Jesus' hair color was. Don't forget his eyes were grey and some may describe that to be blue eyes. He was accepted by the Gentiles, who were fair-skinned.
This is the color of my hair and when grown longer with the sun will turn the tips a golden yellow but when cut short turns a dark brown. My wife loves my hair and I tell it's just hair 😂

I can understand why you would think this. But also understand that the New Testament as a whole, many of which are letters, was put together by those in government, deciding for the a elves what the people would read and what they deemed to be repeated. I believe there is much hidden from the early 'church' who were merely politicians.
Jehoshaphat the historian (sorry if I’ve got his name wrong) described him as having chestnut coloured hair as well. It’s not uncommon for Jews to have red or reddish hair.
That was Flavius Josephus (37-100), a Jewish historian, usually referred to simply as Josephus. The account of his description of Jesus is of disputed authenticity. Josephus was born four years after Jesus died, so any description he may have used to describe him was second-hand. Josephus' accounts of the history of Jerusalem were written around 92-93, 60 years after the crucifixion.
When I saw him he had a brownish strawberry blonde, big curls and over the shoulders. He pulled a reptilian man a demon off of me. I was 23. Now I never havd to fight them. They know I know how to whip them. I'm protected.
Both. Chestnut hair has blonde in it genetically. The season of summer would necessarily bring out the blonde from sunlight exposure. It did me until it all turned gray.
THE DESCRIPTION OF PILATUS ABOUT JESUS MAKES PERFECT SENSE. REMEMBER THAT THE SHEEP IN THE SACRIFICES RITUAL HAD TO BE PERFECT WITH NO PHYSICAL DEFECT. THAT SHEEP REPRESENTED THE PERFECTION OF JESUS. WE CAN SAY THAT IT EVEN HAD TO BE OF A BEAUTIFUL LOOK. NOT BECAUSE HE WAS JEWISH HE HAD TO LOOK EXACTLY LIKE ONE. WE SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT SOME DIVINITY COULD HAVE SHOWN TROUGH HIS HUMANITY.
Yes he was a pure ethnic Israelite from the tribe of Judah! So he would not look like most of the people in the surrounding areas since only 42,360 Israelites returned from Babylon. All the foreign peoples moved into the land during this time.
Pilate's wife warned him to have nothing to do with that innocent and just man. Its obvious from reading about it in the Gospel Pilate didn't really want to kill Jesus but the crowd pressured him into it.
Sorry but there is no record of Pilate’s wife saying anything like that, let alone that he even had a wife. We know nothing of his personal life and very little of his professional life.

it has been scientifically proven that area of the world had a mixed racial population, including blue and grey eyed blonde Caucasians; there were Macedonians (ancestors of the Greeks) Thracians (ancestors of Bulgarians and Germanic tribes with fair hair and eyes) Romans (ancestors of Italians who could be Northern, dark skinned and dark haired, or Southern Italian, blonde haired and blue eyed), Jews, Arabs and Black Habesha Ethiopians (not the same racial group as black sub Saharan Africans) so he could very well have been caucasian with grey eyes.
I will be honest, the human being does not have the mental capacity and much less the power that Jesus Christ has, he is a being of light and a pure soul and spirit without morbidity, without vanity, without envy, without ego, without hatred and WITHOUT EVIL in his heart.
Jesus got all of his physical appearance DNA from his only mortal parent--his mother. His mother Mary was a Nazarene, and they were a fair race, with many having red hair and blue eyes. Therefore, it is to be expected that Jesus would have golden chestnut hair and fairer skin than others around him who were not Nazarenes.
@@KnowledgeIsComfortAccording to Ron Wyatt, (who supposedly found Christ's blood on the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant, 20 feet directly underneath where Christ hung on the cross) the blood contained 23 chromosomes from the mother and only 1 Y chromosome from a non human father. If you haven't heard of Ron Wyatt, I highly recommend doing research on him and his discoveries. It's mind-blowing.

This is from the middle of the 4th century. It is from the letter from Pilate to Tiberius called "Acte Pilate" and/or "Anaphora Pilate". It is likely derived from the official acts preserved in the praetorium at Jerusalem and is generally attributed to the works of Nicodemus. I have read some commentary and have not had time to read them all but some are calling this blasphemous however it does not meet the definition of blasphemous. One person challenged its validity because Jesus was a Nazarene and not a Nazarite. A Nazarite is someone who separates themselves from the world to serve God. Other notable Nazarites include Samson, Samuel, and John the Baptist. For all practical purposes Jesus was a Nazarite from Nazareth and there is nothing wrong about it. You can find Acte Pilate in PDF format in various locations on the internet. The only thing relatively new about it is that a couple of people read out the letter, recorded it and published it on youtube. People are slowly beginning to find it.
It would be wise to add that many devout and godly Christian scholars, after studying this carefully, doubt the authenticity of this document. As most people know, there is much apocryphal material. It is not my intent to dampen other people's enthusiasm but to help them have a realistic appreciation of the facts as we know them. There is so much solid evidence for Christ and the Gospels that we need not depend on very weak links. Going to battle with undependable weapons is not wise. 'Happy to chat... Thanks again!
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. This is contrary to biblical scriptures. Though there are many, Revelation 1:14-15 describe him having a darker appearance in such that his feet like bronze and hair like wool. People don't be deceived by this. Total contrary to scripture. Don't be deceived
Feet like bronze- they wore sandles out in the sun everyday. Have you seen middle eastern person standing on the sun all day? It's bronze like dark golden color, hair like wool. Doesn't say hair the same color as wool. His air was probably matted due to him not worrying about his looks. And even says in the Bible about him not being worshipped for his beauty.
Wow yall really need to reread revelations 1:14-15. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow. ( color white). His eyes were as a flame of fire. ( red color or similar) this is not to say he is white or black. But his holy judging form. Warrior form. Godly form. Heavenly form.
Bronze burning in a furnace is literally white, look it up! There many kinds of sheep, their sheep had long, blondish, wavy wool. Also, his ancestors in the old testament were described as having marble skin with sapphires and emeralds, as in white with visible veins of blue and green. Also, only white people could be promised a land flowing with milk and honey as we are the only race that is not lactose intolerant. I could go on.

Both are correct.*

He taught the word of God.

The Bible says that there was “nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.” Isaiah 53:2 “He had no beauty to attract us to him!” So it’s odd that Romans would describe him like he was super handsome.

Jesus got all of his physical appearance DNA from his only mortal parent--his mother. His mother Mary was a Nazarene, and they were a fair race, with many having red hair and blue eyes. Where was this letter found? Who found it? Where is it published?
4th century. Not a forgery, but a work of fiction common at the time.
You are right. It is a fictional letter composed about the 4th to 5th century.
