Hello, thank you so much for this video. I am moving from Austin and bought a house in Killeen, North side near the Fort. As an active retiree it was reassuring that no one said that crime was an issue. Also, I was so happy to hear about the parks and lakes in Killeen as I enjoy the outdoors.

Some advice from CoK employee... if you own, rent or a landlord, Call the City first for no use of facilities on the sewer side. This is cheaper than calling plumber by a drastic margin. Plus there is a program in place that will help locate the block and see if it falls on your side or the insurance side.
Best thing to do if you move to Killeen is buy property. Even if it is 200-300k, it is still below the national and even State median average. Killeen is growing and in 10-20 years it will become (more or less) North Austin. Invest now!

Thanks. Rates are temporary, real estate is forever lol I get it though. I believe rates will go down eventually and hit the 5’s but prices are going to keep rising!

What if I buy a house in Georgetown and drive every day? I can handle a longer drive as long as there is no traffic.
Yea I have a client who did just that recently .. it’s about 45 mins or so depending on where you are in Georgetown. Let me know if you need help with that. Georgetown has been growing like crazy .

I live in Georgetown and commute to Killeen. Georgetown is wayyyy nicer than Killeen, but it’s wayyy more expensive.
