Thank you for making this so easy without ten thousand unnecessary steps
No problem 👍 glad you found it helpful!
I would love to have your eBook. You have inspired and given me so much knowledge on designing and producing beautiful products. Especially, learning how to do mock ups.
That's so awesome to hear! I'm so glad I've been able to help you. I wish you all the success 💓
I'm getting ready to make my first stickers. This video is so helpful. Thanks!
You're welcome! I bet they'll turn out great!
I love this! It's so informational. Thank you so much for posting it!
Aww thank you so much! I'm glad it was helpful
this may or may not answer your question in your video but if you go to the top when you are in downloads where it says VIEW, you will then click EXTRA LARGE ICONS and it should show you the actual picture. we tried it with a PNG file on our computer an that was how it was made visible vs the icon you see in your video that isnt the actual picture
That works with PNGs but not SVGs. But thank you!
This is my first time watching your channel and your tutorial was fantastic. I would love to see an e book for Cricut
Awesome! Thank you!
This was awesome. Thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Great video I have a subscription to creative fabrica and I love it when I was watching your video there was a background noise not sure if it was me but other than that I will be making some stickers for all the trick o treaters instead of candy lol just kidding there will be candy involve 😂 thank you for the great info
Thank you for watching! I figured out that background noise issue and fixed it in my future videos. I was using a Webcam and it was picking up on the sound of the laptops fans running. I'm sorry about that. I actually thought about putting stickers in with my candy! My kids love stickers.
Would love the book
I really need to get on that 😆
The stickers look awesome. You have to unzip the file in your downloads folder and save it and then you can preview the images like you're wanting to do. It will eliminate u saving them one by one as well. 😊 hope that helps
THANK YOU!! I can't wait to try this later!
You're very welcome. Let me know if you were able to figure it out or if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help. You're going to be in your glory and wanting to craft more once you start doing that with your files. Haha! @@Cricuter
Is there a tutorial on creative fabrica? I'm so lost on that😢
Great video, thank you so much! =)
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
I'm not sure if this was answered, but there's no way to view icons in a zip file. You need to extract them to a folder, and then you can view the icons.
Thank you!
This is one of the most clear explanation videos I personal have seen. ☺️
I love that! I always try to make my videos straightforward and to the point 😊 thanks for watching!
@@Cricuter you bet!
I'm definitely interested in purchasing!
Yayyy! I've gotta get to writing then! 😀
Absolutely!
You have to "extract" the zip files. Then you will have a "preview"
Thank you!
What type of printer is best for stickers?
SO I made stickers before but it has been a long time. There was an issue with the cuts not lining up with my design. I think I had to select the A4 in my printer pref. But now that is not working is there another "hack/fix" you would recommend? the paper is letter sized. But when I print then cut it does not line up :(
I have tried to make stickers on clear sticker paper but my explore air 2 will not cut them out. It says it can't read the registration makes? not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can you help me please
I have made stickers before and you know what they say if you don't use it you lose it. Your refresher was amazing. Thank you. You just got a new follow and I am also a huge Creative Fabrica fan. I look forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing.💌
You are so welcome! And you're totally right. Sometimes I have to go back and rewatch my own videos because I forget 😆Thanks for the follow and comment!
I made my 1st set last night and I let them sit over night and they still are not dry..any tips
i have a problem with the ink smearing on "printable vinyl" paper.
Thanks
Yes I would like to purchase a book " Cricut Business " for my wife
I'm actually in the middle of writing a Cricut For Dummies book for THE For Dummies series! It should be on the shelves this summer!
Where do you sell them sister
Did these cut individually? All the way through? So you are able to sell individual stickers?
Yes. The sticker setting cuts all the way through. I use the washi setting if I want to make a sheet of peelable stickers
This was great! I just made my first set of stickers! Thank you so much for the slow walk through 😊
Of course! I'm happy to help 😄
I'm looking to purchase one, but there's so many of them. Which one are you using?
So many of what? Cricut machines or sticker paper?
Very informative for a newbie. Are you aware of the humming and sort of ringing background noise in your videos? Not meant to be negative, it just makes it hard to ignore and listen to your instructions.
Yes I'm aware and I've fixed the issue in my more recent videos. The issue was that when I was screen recording on my laptop the microphone was picking up on the sound of my laptop motor/fans running and I never noticed because I always hear that when using the computer. Now I have a different mic that I keep far away from the computer.
VERY EXCITED FOR YOUR BOOK! Please please please keep us posted on when it’s available!!! 😍😍😍 Yaaaaaaay!!!!
Thank you! Will do!!
oh yea looking at your screen the one you have up looking for your pictures, it has a choice to view actual size, but I believe you can see the whole thing, I can't really your screen icons but i think that is it
Ok well I subscribed
Thanks for the follow my friend!
Would love an eBook!
That's the motivation I need 🤩
The stickers look GREAT! I love the ones that you chose! You make it look so easy :)
Thanks so much 😊It was so much easier than I thought! Learning new projects and techniques can be so intimidating!! But then once you do it it's like...that wasn't hard at all!
I would love an affordable eBook.
Great! I hope to have it finished soon!
Just used your tutorial to make my first set of stickers and they came out absolutely perfect! thank you so much!
I'm so glad! You're welcome!
down load micro soft Powertoys and install then you will see what your svg files are.
So is the process different if you want kiss cut stickers
The only difference is the material setting. I use the washi setting for kiss cut stickers.
Does anyone ever have trouble with offset not working?
Hi I watched ur tutorial and it was perfect
I had a few questions. So the sticker I purchased was clear so when you
Peel it off it doesn’t have white where it should be
Did I oree see r the wrong thing I’ll send u a pic.
Also for some reason my first row came out fine but the rest is completely off and I’m basically wasting my sheets I didn’t calibration and everything
I’m hoping u could help me
It’s not allowing me to take a pic but it’s rodeo premium vinyl sticker paper
You probably accidentally bought transparent sticker paper instead of white. I did the same thing before for Cricut's brand of waterproof sticker paper
It’s weird because some of the stickers did stay white in the design where others went clear. It’s my 1st time doing it so it was an experiment and not as easy as it looks.
Can you
Send me the brand you buy so I can order that
What about the template being off? How do I rectify that? Like I said the top row was the only
Row that I could use the others were completely off
U have ya computer in performance mode that’s why you can’t see ur previews
That makes sense, it's a gaming laptop
finally - clear, concise instructional video ~_~ Thank you for this! Looking forward to watching the other videos posted
Awesome, thank you!
why come three of my stickers I chosed to use when i go to Offset it has weld offsets box checked and i can't offset it. I have even unchecked the box and still nothing,
This is amazing! I hope the controls are pretty similar since I’m using an iPad. Question though, what if you want a holographic cover for the stickers too? Do you just recut the same thing but with the holo cover and layer them?
I'm not sure about that. I don't have an iPad. I imagine design space would be the same regardless of what you're using it on. Check out this video on my channel about working with laminate film: th-cam.com/video/ZFcVT--HhB8/w-d-xo.html
When making a sticker out of your logo, why not use the offset tool?
Have you used other printable vinyl other than the cricket brand?
I made this video just for you! Testing out 5 different printable sticker paper/vinyl! th-cam.com/video/x_76ZhI3j1M/w-d-xo.html
Do I need to change the background to white if I am using transparent sticker paper or should I remove the background?
Printers don't print white so anything in your design that looks white will be transparent with that type of paper
You need to unzip the files so you can view preview 🙂
I dont think you can preview inside a zipped folder? I think you have to extract content and then the preview works. Great video by the way, thank you.
I think you're right! Thanks for the comment!
The background sounds like a ✈️ plane is on the runway and getting ready for takeoff
Sorry about that. I was screen recording on my gaming laptop and it has some crazy fans. I do live right on the flight path to an airport a mile away so planes could be part of the problem too. I've bought an external mic that I keep far away from the computer so it shouldn't be an issue in any of my new videos. Sorry for the annoyance.
You didnt show how to load material
Your stickers look great and thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Do you need to use special kind of ink on the vinyl paper?
Thank you so much! No special ink is required, just inkjet ink
Don't you use an overlay on top of your stickers before you cut them??? I have always seen other people do that in order to make them truly waterproof.
Yes, if you want them waterproof. Not everybody cares about their stickers being waterproof. I have a video here on how to use overlays to make stickers waterproof th-cam.com/video/ZFcVT--HhB8/w-d-xo.html
Looks great, can you upload files from photoshop to print your own logos?
Yes you can upload your own files! That's actually on my to do list this week. I'm making some logos to put on my car window and shirts
I would like the ebook
Thanks for your support! 💓
Interested in ebook
Thanks for your support 🙏💓
I’m a beginner and this was such a clear video, thank you! Subbed!
Thank you! I'm glad it was helpful for you!
What Cricut setting do you use
Not sure exactly what you said you did, but when a folder is downloaded as a zipfile, if you open it and then drag the folder that appears to your D drive or whatever storage you have on the computer, they will then open as previews in the new location. Or you can control A to highlight all the zipfile photos, control C to copy them and then paste into a new file in your storage drive. I do this with photography which also doesn't provide a preview when it downloads in zipfile format.
I would love to have a copy of an ebook. Just let me know what is needed from me. TIA
I just gotta finish writing it 🖊 🙂 love the support though!
Great video but what if I want to sell the stickers. how do I make them so the backing is on them?
That's called kiss cut and you cut them on the washi setting
So i will need a computer first(With what i want to print on it ) and link it to a cricket ? I want to print some old gas station decals
That's correct. You upload the design into Cricut design space, then load printable vinyl into an inkjet printer, then cut out the printed sheet with the Cricut. Do you have a Cricut yet?
I definitely skip ahead so here I am again watching
Haha we all do it! I try really hard to only put the important info in my videos so you should never have to worry about needing to skip past anything useless.
What app or website so u use
Do you mean for designs? I use Creative Fabrica www.creativefabrica.com/ref/237783/
Im confused. Does the cricut print the decal or is it printed from a separate machine first then sent to cricut to just cut it?
The Cricut is not a printer. It is a cutting machine. You need a separate inkjet or sublimation printer to print out your designs. Then the Cricut machine can cut out the shape.
Great tutorial my dear...they look very nice 🤗🥰
Thank you!
We did your instructions, but It keeps trying to cut the stickers not around them ?
Did you put a background around it with a shape like a circle or offset and then flatten it?
Loved your video. Will these stickers work on a tile that i want to place my coffee mug on?
Great video question what would be a good starter machine to Print and Cut small stickers for vintage restoration work that I do. Thank you
The Cricut Joy Xtra is their cheapest machine that can do print then cut. I love my Cricut Maker
You would probably find this video helpful. I compare all of the different models th-cam.com/video/-L_duM6k5VY/w-d-xo.html
Are you using regular paper or sticker paper for inkjet?
amzn.to/4aP1RA8
Exactly what I was looking for...
Perfect!
Your book sounds full of great ideas. I can't wait!
Yayy thank you for your support! 😍
When you open your file look at the top where the little icon is (to view) Click on it and you have a choice to view it in small, medium, Large and I believe Extra large. Extra Large you can only see one at time. Try that way to view the actual pictures
Does this also apply for the cricut extra?
Yes
I don’t know if anyone else has said this but I moved all of my pics that I downloaded from my downloads folder to the picture folder and it shows all of the pictures without clicking on them. Thanks for your vids
I'll have to try that!
How often do blades have to be changed out ?
Such a hard question to answer because it depends on so many factors like how often you use the machine, what types of materials you cut, etc. I change mine once weeding becomes difficult. Like if you're trying to cut out a small intricate vinyl design and it tears or doesn't cut through all the way, that's when I change it. Probably every 3-6 months.
I am interested in your new e book project
Thank you! I'll keep you posted as I progress!
You saved me. I am sooo relieved I came across your video!!
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!
I can't thank you enough. Your video was clear, simple and effective. I am very new to "cricuting" and do not know anything. However, I feel I can now try making some stickers!
Aww you're welcome! You can totally do it! Thanks for watching 💕
great video... So easy to follow!
Awesome! I'm glad it was helpful
This is way too long for beginners!
Sorry it's a lengthy process
Your PC is about to take off!
Lmao I know it's a gaming laptop so the fans are wild. I bought an external mic to fix the problem
@Cricuter there are lap desks wi5h fans built into them that will help your laptop stay cooler for longer if you would like. So your pc fans won't have to ramp up so loud. I noticed that design space also uses a ton of RAM. I upgraded my ram and get much better response from the program.
@@Cricuter also, thanks so much for the sticker tutorial. Extremely helpful!
I would be interested in your ebook
Love that! I have lots of great info to share 💕
Excellent tutorial. Thank you.
Excellent tutorial! Used this morning, to make stickers for some Favor Bags for my Advent Dinner tomorrow night. I used the image from my invite to make the stickers. Plus Tips: using the offset to make the boarders on a png image imported... and making a size box for layout that was the print to cut size. Also, the attach and flatten steps to not cut the image, but the outline. I seem to always have to revisit this whenever I am doing print to cut. Finished product is perfect!
Sounds great!!
What printer do you use?
I have an older HP printer. It's an HP Officejet 4630. I didn't buy it because it's the best or anything. My father in law gave it to me years back. But it works great! The photo quality is a lot better than my Epson Workforce. I would get another HP.
Thanks for the great informative video. I dont know if anyone else has mentioned it but you have a loud hum in the background of the video. I thought it was maybe me but i paused the video and it stopped and changed with the different things you showed.
Yeah I'm aware. My webcam was picking up on the sound of my laptop running. I fixed the issue in my future videos. Thank you!
My paper goes the other way. White side up. Check your own printer.
Thank you! I didn't realize it was different with different printers
I just came across your channel and watched two of your videos. Thank you for being so informative! I am definitely interested in purchasing your ebook. Please let me know how much and when I could get it.
You are so welcome! Thank you for your support!!
Love the vid but there's this humming sound in the background which is very distracting.
Sorry about that. I was using a screen recording program on my laptop and it was picking up the sound of the laptop motor. I bought a new mic that I keep further away from the computer.
Does anyone have trouble with smearing of the ink? I have an Epson and the black always smears when I touch it
You’ll have to figure out which kind of ink the black ink in your printer is (pigment or dye) and buy paper that is compatible with that ink. I had that problem with some photo paper I bought
What can you use r to layer over the stickers before cutting to weather proof the stickers. And will you need to change the cut type to accommodate the thickness? Thanks
Cricut just came out with some new waterproof printable stickers. I would use these for outdoor use. cricut.com/en-us/materials/material-type/printables-stickers/printable-waterproof-sticker-set---us-letter-6-ct/2010348.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwmvSoBhDOARIsAK6aV7hp04KNY6qvruFB1Zt1VnrGEd-Sg2lNwh0yBh1HsxWc8u0mdxWwbJ8aAiA4EALw_wcB
i don't have the printable vinyl specialty
I don't understand your comment. Do you mean it's not showing up in your materials list? What kind of Cricut do you have?
yeah it wasnt in the list but we figured it out thanks for the reply@@Cricuter
simplest and effective way of explaining, thank you so much
You're welcome 🥰 that's how I try to make all my videos!
Would have liked to watch the video longer, but you have a very irritating noise in the background which just drives me crazy.
Oh no! Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I think that's the sound of my laptop running. I will definitely look into trying to make that not happen in the future. I do have subtitles on my videos so you could mute it and read the words. I'm sorry about that!
@@Cricuter it is more like the static noise of a microphone with a ground issue.
Same! I thought it was coming from my iPad!
I thought someone was mowing the lawn
Wait so you need a separate printer to make stickers?
Yes. A Cricut is not a printer. It cuts out the stickers
@@Cricuter thank you for the quick answer! I'm feeling completely overwhelmed trying to figure out what I need to start selling my own digital designs as stickers. I only plan on making stickers. Do you have any recommendations?
How can you make the cut go through the back of sticker paper so that these are die cut and not kiss cut?
For kiss cut I cut on the washi setting. For die cut I cut on printable sticker paper setting
You have to extract the zip to preview.
Great video.
Thanks Kim!
Great video so very helpful 💜
Thank you
Thank you!
Great video. Easy to follow for a Cricut user who is trying to learn
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching
