I think that would be a very compelling twist. With a few tweaks and story hints that could be come a compeling anime/show or game.
It's raining and the two enemies face off against each other on opposite sides of the shire courtyard. Only one can walk away. Slowly, they draw their weapons, and begin a very dramatic fruit ninja vs match.

I read that it had to do with the saying “One bad apple ruins the bunch”
I always assumed it was referring to the fruit of knowledge of good and evil from Genesis. Many depict the fruit as an apple and it's used regularly as some one taking forbidden knowledge or power and the start of something evil. I never played the touhou games so I'll take your word for it.
Is that actually true? ZUN never really said anything why the title is called Bad Apple!!. I always assumed he's just drunk at that time lol

this version reminds me of a trope i dont see often enough where two old friends meet again on opposite sides of the battlefield, the one who turned to the wrong side the only one really fighting until they're screaming, nearly begging to know why the other person isn't fighting back, and receiving in response from a voice so broken it can barely speak; "because you're my _friend."_

That reminds me of "The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon" in the cut scene where Malefor takes control of Cynder and forced her to attack Spyro. While she's attacking him she's yelling "Fight back! Why won't you fight back?" And Spyro responds, "Because you've left me nothing to fight for," Which snaps Cynder out of it and they join forces once again.
This makes me think of Naruto and Sasuke
Worse is when it's the one on the 'wrong side' who isn't fighting back, but also isn't yielding, and to win the hero is going to have to take them down.

I miss the days when art, music, and stories could express sadness/depression/etc without being labeled as "edgy" just for not being about smiles, puppy farts, and rainbows.
The word has been misused and overused the same way epic was, and has just as little meaning as a result. "Edgy" was typically applied to things that were an exaggerated form of sadness/depression/etc that is done in an attempt to be "cool". The lyrics of bad apple aren't edgy, because they're still well within the realm of something someone might actually think, feel, and/or experience, and it makes no effort to portray those things as something "cool".
"Devil Trigger" is a good example off the top of my head of what "edgy" lyrics are like.

If you're going to insist that it's edgy, then explain how and why. Though I honestly doubt you're capable of that, considering you seem to be someone who just insists on throwing out labels with no actual valid reason behind them other than discrediting anything and everything you personally dislike or disagree with. The impression I get is that you're a person whose every day is filled with joy and excitement, and thus, anything that is contrary to your blissful existence is disturbing to you, which you express by labeling those things as "edgy". Either that, or you are simply a child between the ages of 12 and 16 who heard that word being thrown around and now you think it makes you "cool" to go around the internet insulting things other people happen to like, which, ironically, is edgy.
Lastly, "boomers" are people born between 1946 and 1964. I was born in 1996. Once again, you throw out labels with no actual meaning or accuracy. The "days" I'm referring to are simply the days before "edgy" became a buzzword people like you use because actually developing a genuine opinion is just too much to ask of you.
up to 2:50 : Main character is talking with someone that has turned against him several episodes before to understand why with flashbacks of the good things this character did before that, with increasing aggression from both sides.
2:50 : the first blow as the rain starts falling hard
3:36 : Main character is hit with a powerful move he has never seen the other person use and is now laying there unable to continue as he is being told why this is happening

@@samanthaclaremejia7975 so now, someone make an anime where the mc is super attached to this one chick and they both love each other, how ever the chick is a spy but over time gets attached to the mc. they save each other a couple of times and there are romantic scenes, however at the end of the show its revealed that shes the bad guy, however its for a reason thats almost justifiable. the mc is forced to fight his love in a battle to the death while this music plays. its a hard fought battle with both sides tearing up and crying, knowing they cannot stop fighting for strong reasons. they continue the fight until the final hits, where the mc knows what must be done. with both characters crying they go for the last hit, 3:36 music stops, and the hits connect. the mc wins. there lies the one love of his life, the one he thought he would live with forever. he understands why she had to do this. she smiles at him, and with her final words "im sorry" he finishes the job, killing her. (3:57) the mc collapses, crying and the camera moves upwards and away to a sunset and the show is over

cause there is an acual original, yes hard to believe for you i know, the ft nomico version is a damn remix, which caught on because of how it was normalised, same fucking notes over and over again,
in the late 90's, zun (creator of touhou) made the first 5 touhou games were made, in touhou 4 (lotus land story) the stage 3 boss (elly) appears, she is a gate keeper her theme? bad apple (alarently theres some conection between her and rotton apples or someting)
this bad apple is the original bad apple.
in 09 aksuki records made a remix of this underrated song and it caught on, yet few people looked at the original bad apple, which difenantly is not the norm, usally a remix gets the normies attention and the original gets some of that trafic, yet that didnt happen
@@djaydeved That just shows how much a good remix the one from 2009 is. I took a look into the original now and sure, it's a catchy video game song, but unless you are very hardcore-stubborn you wouldn't prefer it over new adaptions. I know how it's like to enjoy old video game music, I am in love with the Mega Man X themes, Commando on C64 etc. But yeah, on a regular basis I would listen to a good remix rather than the original. The ft Nomico remix is not only good, it's brilliant. It's one of the best remixes I have come across so far.

In the beginning, the screen shows memories of you and your best friend throughout your life, the adventures and tales you've had, the best of the best. ( Left hand is when the full picture is there, right hand is as it fades out and another one comes in )
Then, we get to the point in which the music changes, and you're in the place where you will finally find the person who's ruined your life. You walk down the halls, your best friend with you as back up.
1:24 You open the door. As the music returns with the verse, the camera pans to look at the seemingly empty room.
"Hey [bestie]... there's nobody here." You say, as you turn around ( 1:36 ) and they pull out their weapon. "Wait..."
"I'm sorry... [you]." As they hit/shoot you in the arm with their weapon. You wonder why they would ruin your life, as they were your best friend. You shake it off with tears, as the music returns to normal and you draw your weapon.
"I thought you were my friend!" You say as the music gets intense ( 1:49 ). You both proceed to circle the room, not wanting to hurt the other, no matter that only one of you should leave.
"Come on. We are. I'm your best friend [you]. Remember all the times we've had?" And they start talking about each moment you both have shared. Some, almost romantic, but also jests. You look at them with tears.
"But... but you're the one who's been ruining my life..." You tell them.
"Only so we can enjoy our memories!" They smile back.
"But...no. You can't do that. You ruined my family! My home! My other friends! And so what? We can enjoy our time? No. You've gone too far [bestie]!" and as the music intensifies ( 2:26 ) you go and attack them. They swiftly dodge, knowing your attacks. It's your best friend. They know you more than you know you. You realize that as you dodge their attack. Then, you hit them. 2:48
"Well, guess I've got to try. I am sorry for this. Really." They say as the music goes ballistic and they start attacking you for real. 2:51
Cue the epic fight scene! Hits left and right from both sides. You both are terribly wounded. Then...
You/They hit them/you. 3:36
The dying one falls as the other starts to cry and the music proceeds. The one who hit them rushes over.

The sword he’s carrying, ridden with blood as it drips off it too. The boy looks up as rain starts to drip from the sky as if the world has abandoned him. His comrades dead, every single one of them, he dreams back of all of them.. the memories and the moments that had let up to this moment... “why me-...why was I left alone once again....-“ his voice breaks as the silence engulfs everything but suddenly a footstep from behind comes forth....

Music theory. Generally speaking once you learn chords/arpeggios you can use them to write the left hand part on the spot to match your melody in the right hand. Writing melodies requires some additional knowledge of keys and rhythm, but honestly you can figure that out intuitively.

I tried to rearrange the lyrics to fit the melody of this version. Some of the lines are completely new because none of the original (well, original English) ones fit quite right, but hopefully they still have the same tone as the rest.

I have watched at least 300 bad apple videos(maybe something like 500), with many versions, and this is among the most original ones, that was a delightful experience, I thank you for that!
All of your different sounds sounds great alone. As an epic and as a sad. But the drop from the build up would have been so much better if you held it out and even slowed down a measure before signifying that it was nearing the end. It was 2 master pieces thrown together instead of leaving the separated or finding a better way to put them together.
From 0:48 - 2:25 was super well and just breath taking. And I loved it. It was just a beautiful thing and I wanted more. Before that, well I just think the pauses there were just slightly too long.
2:25-2:27 was just too sudden to have started playing your triplets at that max volume like that. You should have built up on those notes and the sound. Played the one with the triplets slowly getting lounder in the background until they're tied with the main melody you wanted. Around the second time your melody repeated it would have been full swing and beautiful.
The 2:48 drop then hitting the cord would be so much more impact full you silenced your triplets and held out a note and then went for it instead of cutting it off like that.
It is to each their own- maybe it is much more emotionally moving if you stop the melody suddenly and I just don't see it. I liked the idea you had going so I left a comment. But the pivotal points you made for your melody you wanted us to hear was abruptly stopped twice and pace changed suddenly and it just hurt. Thank you for your amazing work though. I really mean it. It was beautiful in pieces.
