Yep! When you start to miss apexes, it’s time to stop rushing corner entrances and slow down . Pretty basic lesson, but can be hard to initiate.

Did I miss you explaining the 7 gallon tank? Is it an endurance set up?

I discovered your channel a couple days agos and i've been binge watching all of your videos. I never rode track before but love your commentary. I dont know what camera are you using, but i would reccomend to switch the aspect ratio from 4:3 (wich is square) To 16:9 if possible, to have a better view of the controls and everything you do.

4:3 offers a better (taller) view and works better on my upper clamp mount so it captures the laptimer and a good view through the windscreen.

at 6:05 this is the second video I've seen of someone standing the bike up at this specific point. Is that patch there messing them up or is it just a coincidence?

Is there anything else you do to practice braking skills. This is one of my weakest points left in my riding. I think I use way to much engine braking as an safety net at this point to make middle corner adjustments. When I'm doing track days I feel like I can't really focus on it because it's not really controlled. Traffic effects a lot of my brake markers.

I’m not a coach and I’m still learning myself so take it with a grain of salt, but when I noticed one of the things stopping me from improving my corner turn ins was engine braking, i just started taking those specific corners I was working on in a higher gear. Removes some of the engine braking and makes you rely on your brake lever to get the bike settled and slowed down more. Do this for a few sessions in the corners you’re working on until you get comfortable with the increased braking effort and pace you’ve picked up then go back to down shifting appropriately and use your new learned ability to use the brake lever.

looks like the right fork and left fork in the vid are set at different heights. check the setup before going out again.
