Nature is the new God for atheists. Dont care if you don’t believe in god but nature is your god since you attribute creation to it

At 6 yrs old, I was blown away when I saw one at a family friends estate in the Adirondack Mountains. I'd never seen such a huge insect! I still remember this, even though I'm 69 now.

I never knew these existed in Canada until I saw one on my window screen. They camouflage so well I guess most people don’t usually see them. I ran around my house telling my family and even went to tell my neighbor and no one gave af, but I was so excited.

"no one give af" so true, it's like they see them everyday (they don't) 😭

The technology and methods used to determine such things as how a stick insect walks is just incredible. Especially when the subject of the study is small or has tiny body parts.

But the stick insect itself isn’t according to evolution since it’s just random crap

i was laying in bed one night and felt the creepiest crawling feeling coming from UNDER my shirt. i grabbed that area of my shirt as hard as i could and bundled it up in a ball and thre it to the floor faster than i thought possible. when i went to see what it was, it was a (dead) pregnant stick bug :( i never felt fear turn into remorse so quickly.

Do stick bugs move quickly? Had one on my glass door, put him in a glass bowl to take him to a tree and he somehow escaped before I got to the tree, I looked an looked but couldn't find him, I crossed my gravel driveway, I hope he is okay, he was so cute 😢😢
