The only radio that I have that out performs the XG-100P is my APX7000 but you can't beat the price point of an XG-100P compared to a multiband APX. I have a XG-75M that performs just as well as the XG-100P
Great overview! I had one but everyone said the audio sounded horrible on P25. Never did figure it out and sold it. Thinking about getting another one. I wonder how hard NAS is to setup on it?
Pair it like you would pair your headset to anything else. Put headphones in pairing mode, then go to bluetooth setting, search, and pair. Not all bluetooth devices are compatible with the xg and there isn't a list of supported devices, so its trial and error.
I received the software from the seller I bought the radio from. It still is sold online, but if you are wanting to do NAS there is a hacked version out there
You're not helping to talk me out of buying one of these! 73 de AK4FM

I think the audio sounds fine on P25, but my apx definitely has better audio. There is a video out there on how to NAS, isn't very hard.
@@kd9fal yes after scrolling down I saw there’s a 50 minute video on it. I was more or less talking about transmit audio.

Where’d you get the program software and what version are you running?
I've red everyone is getting it from the Harris website. I would imagine it's not cheap. I'm trying to figure this out before I buy a radio
