That’s a sweet little machine. I have a 2020 Monkey. I was watching this video and looks just like the Beach Road in Nags Head NC. I was truly hoping it was, I’m preparing for a 3 hour journey there from my house in Newport News, Va. That’s an awesome Monkey my friend!! Great video!!
Honda makes some of the finest motorcycles in the world. They’re always ahead of the curve in technology and design. But I just don’t see the prices on many models matching the product. I don’t see $4,250 MSRP, plus the other out the door costs on this model. Maybe some people do, and that’s cool. But for me the mark-up on this and many other models is just too much.
im sure substantially more than a zs212 4v engine would have cost to just bolt right in. you can keep fuel injection w them too just a bit more expensive. before i would upgrade the honda engine i would just buy a 190, or 212, or 212/190 4v engine. gotta do a bit of wiring but far cheaper and they fucking rip. they are also factory 5 speed engines as well. coulda saved alot of money thats for sure.
I like it but…~$4k for a monkey, $2700 for big bore kit, plus labor or time…Yeah, I bought a fire blade for $5200 and only has 19k miles on it. Pretty sure mine runs wayyyyyyyy better
