    Overall, an inverse trend is found [in Japan] between all-cause mortality and total (or low density lipoprotein [LDL]) cholesterol levels: mortality is highest in the lowest cholesterol group without exception. If limited to elderly people, this trend is universal.Sep 26, 2016

    Grass-fed beef, chicken breasts, berries and nuts, fatty fish, and greens overcome genetics?

    • @Diggy22
      @Diggy22 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +9

      As a recently diagnosed diabetic, I can personally say that yes, these foods can get your blood glucose to health numbers. Aside from the beef, I've eaten everything from grilled chicken breasts to almonds and berries. I've kept my numbers between 90 and 130, and that is down from just above the 200 mark in just over a month. Medicine does help, but for long term results, proper diet and exercise make a big difference, even in those who have a genetic disposition.

    Great video, I was looking at your other videos and found one on Glimepiride
    My primary dr prescribed it along with my metformin and I told her I had a scare
    Where I had very low blood sugar, so what did she do but increased it from one
    Mg to two mg. I am really afraid of the drug, I should have said something to her,
    but wanted to research it first
    My test showed my diabetes is 7.6

    We eat 85% lean ground beef usually in homemade hamburgers cooked on our George Formin Grill.
    We eat the Perdue Chicken. It is a good lean protein with no added garbage. Usually we season the Chicken well than bake it. Also we have a good restaurant near by where I can get a big salad with loads of veggies. With boneless and skinless chicken breast seasoned well, grilled and then sliced and put on top of the salad. I use ranch dressing of course the best low carb low sugar dressing next too an olive oil dressing.
    As for the nuts and berries I do have start getting more of those in my diet. Love them but I don't eat them as often as I should. Also plums are another good low carb and low sugar fruit too try.
    Fish is another food I don't eat a lot of. I will admit fish is not my favorite food to eat. But nonetheless it is healthy for you. And around here fish is breaded and deep fried so yeah I don't I will be eating that.
    Thankfully I am learning how to take control of my blood sugar.
