Thank you for posting this excellent video - I had to apply some tiny water slide decals to some 1/43 scale models and you made an intimidating task super easy. Good stuff!
One quick tip - I use tweezers when soaking the decals in water. I find it easier than getting them out of the water with a toothpick. One note on Micro Set and Micro Sol. One bottle of each will last you for YEARS since you only brush on a little at a time. Otherwise, this is an easy video to follow for beginners.
Hi mate, thanks for the video! Sorry to bother but can you please tell me the height and thickness of the acrylic cover? I’ve bought a gp replicas b194 and I’m looking to do an acrylic cover for my car.

Thanks brother! Gonna start on my first car and this alleviates a lot of stress.
Just in time, my Ricciardo Monza 1/18 shipped last week and as on the way. Thanks!

will the decals remain on if you don't use any Micro Set, but just water? I am specifically talking about 1/5 helmets

Sorry my friend, I forgot to respond.
These are the dimensions:
3mm thick acrylic
Height = 13,5cm
Width = 16cm
Lenght = 31cm
@@JurianHamstra thanks!
How to you remove decals? Strictly water, or do you use Micro Set?
Micro Sol should soften the decals enough to wipe them off!
*Cotton swab
Ear bud.
