Im a devoted Christian. I repented of homosexuality/bisexuality when I got saved, among a number of other things that were part of my old self before Christ redeemed me. Gods Word is clear about that sin, you cannot have both. You have to crucify your old self and carry your Cross with Him daily. That is what The Word tells us, and that is how I live my life. I have no regrets. The love and peace He gives me is worth it all. He is Worthy of it all.

@Love Joy Cleary people have one foot in and one foot out. You either live for Christ or the world. Most of the cast have come out for it. Therefore they stand against God.
Sadly, they are not. I love the show and it is absolutely wonderful. Hundreds are being saved by the message. However, when we allow Satan a foot in the door, it won't be long before he takes up residence and the show will change. We need to pray like never before, for protection over Dallas, the other primary leaders and the crew and staff. Victory is Jesus. 🙏❤
My main issue is some of the actors (3 I think) are calling me a hater, homophobe, bigot etc and basically telling me to get lost if I disagree with the rainbow flag. To be told that my Biblical beliefs are hate by an actor playing a disciple is hard to take.
ITS UNACCEPTABLE!! This is why you DONT let heathens partake in a supposed Christian show. You can’t mix clean with the unclean. We don’t even want mold on our bread but yet we consume this leaven like a buffet. Mind boggling!!
This video and response is exactly why the heart of Jesus has been portrayed so well through this production. We are not the ultimate judges. And what The Chosen cast and crew has been able to bring to the world has been a blessing for many. So I support this response and God bless everyone working on this. I'm late to the party hearing about this, but in my humble opinion there is no better place for them to be than on set where they are hearing about the love the Jesus. We can't change anyone or their opinion. It is not our job to change them... it's our job to introduce them to our Savior and show them love.
I might agree with you if someone (anyone) from the Chosen team came out and openly denounced homosexuality. Saying nothing at all is passive acceptence, and that is what homosexuals think too.

My family has supported The Chosen from very early with many thousands of dollars. I don't regret that because of the change I've seen in others, but I will be slow and careful with my future contributions.

I think he completely avoided the real issue. He spent most of the video talking about his decision to hire non-Christians. I don't remember him saying why they published a video with an LGBT flag in it. Furthermore, I found his "I answer to God" line very condescending. He's obviously afraid of offending Mormons, Catholics, and the LGBT crowd, but has no problems offending faithful Christians. Can he really argue that this is all motivated by a desire to please God?

It is a violation of the Third Commandment to use God's name for something that didn't come from God. Unless you can show me in Scripture where He established those traditions, then you must not attribute them to God. I don't care how many denominations there are. honestly, what did it for me was the actors' response. I was fine until that happened. The actors calling people with GENUINE concerns 'bigots', 'haters', 'homophobes' is what broke the camel's back for me. I am 99% sure YOU are doing your best Dallas, but I just cant with the way the actors are behaving about this issue. It was SO disrespectful to the fans and how much we have supported this show. I gave money, when I barely had any, to this show, and to be talked to that way, was horrible. Hear hear. Dallas is doing his best, and something like the flag was bound to happen with a production this huge. But the RESPONSE from the actors running their mouths, attacking fans and posting their own pride flags defiantly on social media is what made it 100x worse. I will never be able to see them in a scene again and not be taken out of it. I know there's no litmus test for the general crew and maybe there shouldn't be. I'm happy that people involved with the production are being exposed to the gospel. But for the actors playing the disciples, who became the apostles, who bled and died not for "spreading love" but for confronting the lies of their culture with the truth of the gospel, maybe there should've been.
In as much as I originally supported this because of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, I can only pray for the LGBTQ community and their repentance and conversion. They call it pride month but it's not something to be pride about. Kids these days are easily swayed and think it's okay to be a lesbian, gay, trans and others. We respect them for what they believe and they can keep it to themselves but it's NOT OKAY for kids or a grown up to believe that there are more than 2 genders. God created a man and a woman. Mr Jenkins wonderful words of clarity. This world is diverse and God it’s creator. The main base is accepting without judgments because no mater our believes, sexual inclination, gender we are God’s children you like it or not. This production is full of wonderful lessons where Jesus’ unconditional loves towards his children is shown on every episode from season 1. Why look for controversy on a subject that is already a conflict worldwide.. keep fighting for what you believe, fight your war. But just don’t pick a fight with everyone because you “think” is your enemy. I believe in heterosexuality but have wonderful homosexual friends who I love immense, never judged or questioned. Leave this production alone, don’t try to hurt or make it as your cause. Don’t like it? that’s fine. The whole world loves it and I’m part of it. Thank you Mr Dallas and the whole cast and crew. If you know anything about Mormon doctrine, you would know there are dozens of items in The Chosen that refute Joseph Smith's made-up religion. Most importantly, The Chosen depicts Jesus as the Messiah, the only begotten Son of God. Joseph Smith did not believe that - he wanted his followers to treat himself as the Messiah.

As believers we are called to go out into the world to minister to those that are lost. Having cast and crew members that do not share the beliefs of Christianity is a moment to minister. Thank you for your response we are all sinners saved by Grace. The fact that you refuse to reject someone that is lost and could be broken is a blessing. They are human and therefore not perfect. If your criteria is perfection from anyone, you are going to be disappointed. Scripture tells us that men have feet of clay and all have sinned. Let's not sit from a throne of moral superiority because we don't have one. Pray for them. All of us need it.

I believe God works in mysterious ways. Nothing happens by chance. Even if you lose some viewers, or have some people who will try to "cancel" you. This could be a blessing in disguise. You might end up gaining a whole new set of viewers that did not know Jesus Christ, have felt unloved, or have not been open to hearing his message because in the past they may have felt ostracized by some Christian communities. You are doing Gods work ❤ with your show. You are touching peoples hearts and brining the Good News to millions of people. Dont lose faith. Keep doing what you are doing! What that guy does in his own time is his prerogative. But when he's on set he shouldn't be permitted to promote anything sinful. That includes homosexuality. This shouldn't be encouraged.
I was very into this series and told everyone that wasn’t about it. Something happened about two months ago that just turned me off to it and I could not understand why. I am going to have to wait for The Lord on this one.

Jesus showed his anger against religious hypocrites but always reached out to sinners. If the world sees Christians and angry and judgmental, how does that reflect God? Can't we show them Jesus, instead. When they really see who He is, then they can make a choice about their lifestyles in response to Him. If they continue to sin, the judgement is for God, not for us. Let's examine our own lives and be more loving and understanding. What an amazing miracle that the story of the Gospels is being made to such a professional level that it being watched by many who would never usually consider it, and lives are being transformed. Maybe this should be the priority. Dallas is doing a great job and not compromising on his own moral standards or on the moral standards in the show. Praise God for his example to his colleagues and pray for them.

The show's content is unchanged. The only difference is that you now know that the show's creators actively allow non-believers to work on their set. They aren't writers. If you're not willing to allow sinners access to "your" show, then you've failed at comprehending the message... and this also begs the question... why were YOU watching? You're no more perfect than anyone else. We are all of us sinners in our own ways. We're all confused in some aspect or another of the teaching. Shutting others out brings no one closer.

I guess by your logic Paul, aka Saul shouldn't have lectured either. What with him hanging around killing Christians and all. I mean him going blind and being born again sure as heck doesn't give him an excuse to tell people right from wrong. But go ahead and defend homosexuality all you want. No one is stopping you. Just like no one is stopping me from quoting from the Bible. You know that pesky little thing this show is supposed to be based on.
Let's define "love" according to Scripture. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says "4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." I'm still looking for the part that says "love is supporting people in their sin", and "encouraging people on their way to hell". I hope I never receive such 'love'.

You are an enabler. They are in grave danger and you just want to sit on the sidelines and watch them fall off a cliff? Or worse, tell them it's cool for them to walk over a cliff and they won't surely die? And that sick complacency is what people call "love"? They must have a very very very low view of what love is then. If a parent were like "I let my kids play with an electric socket and electrocute themselves to death because I love them and didn't want to offend them" that parent would be arrested for negligence! To be okay with someone falling prey to a lie is the same as wishing evil on them. And if you wish evil for someone you do NOT really love them. That's emotional manipulation not love. Real love is bold and passionate, not weak and complacent. Catering to a delusion that puts someone in danger is manipulative and deceptive and totally cold, apathetic and unloving. The motivation for why most people cater to the lies is not love, it's actually just cowardice. They don't want to get attacked by the mob, they're just saving their own skin so they go along with whatever logical absurdity is being pushed even though deep down they know it's lies. Such a person is severely deficient in love, reason, virtue, honesty and common sense. At the end of the day there are two things that rule a man: either truth or stupidity. Sadly the majority of the people today are opting for the latter.
@@sephblack The biggest mistake people make is confusing love with emotional comfort. They are NOT the same thing. If you genuinely care about someone's well-being it is sometimes necessary to take them out of their comfort zone and show them the reality of how things work, to increase their awareness and understanding, for the greater benefit of them. Often times love goes against emotion because our emotions and desires more often than not are the greatest threat to our own well-being. We sabotage and destroy ourselves, our relationships, our societies, and our peace based on feelings.
@@sephblack The greatest freedom and gratification one can have isn't to never be offended, rather, it is to reach the point of truth and confidence where nothing can ever personally offend you. When everything you do isn't to gratify yourself or convince yourself of something, but instead everything you do is solely for the benefit of others, for the Gospel's sake, then when they reject you the only damage done is to themselves not to you. So you can't take it personally. If someone can be easily "offended" then their assurance in their own position isn't very strong. When you are in a state of absolute assurance in your position and no argument can stand against it, no petty insult can waver that assurance or make you feel less validated. Self-validation is only necessary if what you believe is not actually the truth. Self validation is a defence mechanism to maintain a delusion, yet you see Woke people doing this all the time. Everyone has to validate them otherwise they'll have a panic attack. But if their position were true, there'd be no good reason why this should be the case. As the saying goes, "Lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep." The fact that these people are always offended and triggered at the slightest dissent or disagreement and will instantaneously resort to name calling and ad hominems, that exposes the weakness of their ideologies. And when you examine their arguments this is confirmed, that their ideologies really don't have much going for it. And that's the reason why they need to leech validation and emotional support from everyone around them, to remain secure in their own delusions and their false misguided sense of identity.
@@sephblack This weak, sickly and intellectually co-dependent state of being is a direct consequence of believing lies. You see, Truth is a virtue, a pillar, it needs no support, it sustains itself. But untruths always need something to latch onto or lean on to make it appear less untrue. It requires others to constantly cater to and validate it otherwise it will come tumbling down because it has no strong foundations to rest upon. A glass castle built on lies can't remain standing forever, it is the most indefensible and easily shattered and you can see right through it. But a fortress that is built upon the Rock of Truth, upon ultimate Reason and Wisdom (which is Christ the Logos) is one that no man can withstand and it's solid defences no man can possibly scale, nor can it's bedrock foundations ever be unraveled. If only people were to be persuaded for the Truth, then they would be the most better off because of it. If only one were to built their life upon the rock, rather than the sand, where the tide can sweep it away into oblivion.
When your cast are calling people homophobic or bigots for not agreeing with the LGBT community then that just goes to show you what they think of you if you disagree with anything they say. They think Jesus supports their agender, that the problem we all have with this.
They are saying that to the guy who has been sending public tweets to the Chosen on twitter. The homophobes in my opinion refers to the people who have been sending very nasty, mean comments directed at the cameraman, not necessarily because they disagree/not condoning that lifestyle but more on the people who have been acting very un-Christian and sending those mean tweets. Tbh, it feels more sad to me that people who claimed to be Christians can write something so mean like that.

@@vaIcria While I don't agree with the LGBTQ+ community, I don't hate them, and I won't force them to change. Yes, God is offended and hurt by their sins, but he feels the same way about my sins too. Still, He doesn't hate me, or anyone else. My sins are different, yes, but they still offend God. Despite that, He has offered me the same chance as everyone else to change and repent through Christ. God's redemption is for everyone, because He knows just as well as any of us that we all need it.

To be clear, it's not the person or the flag he has on his personal equipment. It's the " advertising" implied by the rainbow pride flag showing up in a promo video for The Chosen. That is a problem.
They all know that they constantly go behind the scenes for the fans. So, those who noticed it and didn’t say or do anything about it are to blame. I’m so angry right now. I will not stop supporting it, but this has caused a huge damage to the mission of this show.
And Dallas danced around and never addressed that issue. He also didn't take the video down and edit out the flag before reposting. He's sold out. Weak man. May God have mercy on him.
The editors of the promo video purposely left the flag in the video. A quick edit, and the flag would've been gone. It's called sabotage. Someone with an agenda in the editing department is responsible.

The Actor who plays Jesus is a professing Knights Templar and Roman Catholic whom has also been caught on video praying the Rosemary which is not found in scripture. I don't care how the actor makes you feel what's important is scripture consistency and taking note if true followers of Jesus are the ones that are creating these shows but it seems no different than the religious Pharisees. Stay far away from Catholicism and don't treat the show as scripture. The show has brought many to read the scriptures for themselves and hence have seen what I am talking about.. Christ came to abolish man-made religion don't fall for this show..

A few things came to mind when watching this. 1) The Chosen is not a ministry first. It is a for profit public company. Money is it’s primary object; not ministry. I wonder what the spiritual implications of having all different types of folks building this show are. The Solomon analogy is a good one, but you have to carry it all the way out. Solomon ended up in a hot mess with the one true God because of all the different pagan gods his wives (read “family”) introduced him to. 2) It’s one thing for a crew member to have a pride flag on his rig. However, once that flag is waved in a promotional video, it’s no longer just an individual crew member’s statement to his fellow colleagues on set; it is now a statement by “The Chosen” to the world. That flag could easily have been edited out but it wasn’t. Nor did Dallas acknowledge or apologize for misrepresenting his own claimed beliefs by leaving it in the promo. If he doesn’t agree with the pride flag, why not just edit it out, re-launch the promo and apologize for the confusion since it “doesn’t represent the beliefs of The Chosen”. 3) This controversy during pride month seems awfully convenient.
As long as the chosen continues to make a series that shows the heart of Jesus, and stays True to that, i dont care if they let crew members be who they are, Jesus will sort them out and perhaps working on this project will be the only exposure to Jesus and the Gospel they ever get.
You hit the hammer on the nail. Too many controversies with the behind the scenes with this show. This isn't the first one a d won't be the last. We have to be in "The Word" and have Holy Spirit leads us in discernment when it comes to secular shows, music ( ear gates and eye gates) its a beautifully produced and staged show, there is no denying that. But if the show to the root is tainted then the fruit will be rotten eventually.
Honestly, I love the fact that they are allowing and utilizing skilled workers to work on their sets. I can think of no better witness of the gospel than to have them there part of seeing these stories of Jesus unfold. Perhaps Jesus visiting with Zacchaeus would have seemed like an endorsement of his lifestyle, but it wasn't. The very presence of Jesus changed Zacchaeus. Jesus doesn't fit in the religious box back then, or now. When Jesus called his disciples, most would not have been considered the "holiest" or "worthiest" to be his disciples and yet he chose them as they were to be an active part of his ministry. Dallas said this person does not represent the beliefs of the Chosen, and they will continue to hire people who will work well and use their skills to bring forth these amazing Jesus glorifying stories.

If, by watching the show, people are led to read the scriptures for themselves and therefore convert based on how Jesus is represented in scripture I believe it’s a higher likelihood that the seed of the truth of God’s word fell on fertile soil and can take root for a lifelong change. If, however, there are converts based on the “character” of Jesus as he is portrayed on the show and it doesn’t go deeper than those converts are more likely to be rocky soil and/or weedy/thorny soil and their faith won’t withstand the trials of life when it’s comes time to really sacrifice for the faith. Please read Matthew 13.
What if YOU and your lifestyle are what has contributed to the population of the LGBT. God calls us to love everyone, and Jesus walked the face of the earth casting out demons, healing the sick, and showing mercy, not sacrifice. Our large usage of plastic have mimicked hormonal development in the human body, causing chemistry changes that impact sexual identity. THAT is why we have a growing population of youth dealing with sexual identity. Largely, we did this to them, and to ourselves. I know this because my brother-in-law was hired by the USA gov to research the increasing birth rate of intersexed souls. His research confirmed it was due to heavy usage of plastics in our culture. There is growing knowledge of this. Stop hating them. You only serve Satan when you hate them. Love them like Jesus loves them.
By the measure you judge you too will be judged. The lost cannot be reached if you condemn them instead of, like Jesus, reach out to them and offer them the Gospel message. There are sins of commission but also sins of omission. Just sayin'. Jesus hung out with sinners that they might be saved.
As a follower of Christ, trying to live as he lived while on earth, He expects us to love one another. The only people he castigated were those in authority who judged peoples lives and choices - the Pharisees and Sadducees that put burdens on people that they were unwilling to carry themselves. So I guess I'm calling out those who want to ostracize those who dont seem to measure up to a cookie cutter standard of Christianity. Dallas is allowing God to work in producing The Chosen - that has been shown over and over again. Dallas' standard for those who work on his set are quite in line with Jesus' principles in the Gospels - A new commandment I give you, Love one another as I would love you - attached to John 3:16 'For God so loved the World . . .' He wants us to love the sinner not ostracize him/her for making bad choices.
It's unfortunate but after the actors and actresses made those statements. It's kind of difficult to watch them play a role and see them as the character they are portraying.
Exactly this is the issue and Dallas should be very careful who he chose as cast members. It's not going to be the same. You don't need the Chosen to know God's word. You need to read his word and let God speak to you. In the end you stand alone for what you said and did on this earth. These are the last days and it's going to get harder to stand for truth. When many who say They know the Lord will be preaching a different gospel.
If only the cameraman that you love and respect so much loved and respected you and the work you've been called to do by not putting you in this position. If only he desired to protect your reputation as much as you desire to protect his. If only he didn't value a 3" flag more than the jobs and livelihoods of the hundreds of others that you employ. If only ...
yes, i agree with you.. but also, you're expecting someone who doesn't know The Lord to act like the "bigger person".. pray for them! i still really appreciate the chosen.. i feel people took this very personal because they might view the actors as the actual people they're portraying.. think about other shows or movies you enjoy watching.. you don't know what everyone believes & stands for.. just a thought.

Just like many of us have family members who differ from our beliefs....it happens in all families. Dallas/Chosen is not promoting anything like that. It is NOT in the show. It was seen in a behind the scenes video by accident. Now some of the actors give me pause with their public statements. But that is not anything in the show....just an actor. I may unfollow those actors. But this is not about the Chosen. But to say it is promoting PRIDE is a bit of a stretch.
The show has made such a difference in my life. I know the same can be said for lots of other people. I don’t know how people expect a diverse group of people to work together and not have different views. Think about all the people that walked with Jesus every day. He walked with tax collectors, sinners, prostitutes, drunkards, and the list goes on. That does not mean that he Excepted their choices. He spoke the truth in love, and I believe that is what the chosen is trying to do. I love and will continue to support the chosen.
The pride flag is not on the show it's on behind the scenes. They don't have to show behind the scenes. Plus the show's focus is to bring people to a loving and reverential relationship with Christ Jesus and they are doing a great job at doing this. Planting good seeds.
It sounds like that's what it's become... to YOU. Show me an example from the show to support your claim and I'll concede your point. Since you know you can't, and know that you're referring solely to the offscreen words of imperfect, sinful people, I expect to see a retraction.
It wasn't ever about Jesus. They've consistently added stuff to the Biblical accounts that is neither stated nor implied therein. They've created a different character than the Jesus in the Bible. And perhaps this shouldn't be a surprise. His father also raked in a boatload of cash by misrepresenting the scriptures in the _Left Behind_ series.
I didn’t even know this big controversy was happening until I logged into The Chosen App to catch up on some videos/BTS content and saw the previous livestream about the pride flag topic posted so I watched to see what all the hubba was about. . I think how Dallas is/has handled the situation speaks volumes about his integrity and commitment as a person of faith and to his show. He not only address the controversial topics at hands and the decisions that are being made on set, but he sits down to fully breakdown and explain the situation with fans and everyone else who is SEARCHING for a reason to target the integrity of the show. . I have the upmost respect for Dallas and his team because I couldn’t imagine being the one on the other side of this situation being attacked verbally behind thousands of people behind a screen or in person by something as innocent as not noticing a pride flag in a promotional video that was on a workers personal equipment. Do we/you really think that if editors of the video or Dallas would have noticed it beforehand, they would have continued to post it KNOWING y’all would react like this? To cause unnecessary controversy? I mean let’s be considerate of our answers right now. . The Chosen show that is directed/produced by Dallas has reached MILLIONS of people around the Globe that has brought many people to want to know more about Jesus, give their lives to Jesus and/or support the show in whatever means that looks like. Do we have the right to our opinions? Yes. Do we have the right to be genuinely concerned when something pops up that is cause for some belief in our faith (eg.-pride flag)? Yes. But what we are NOT supposed to do cast all these stones that I’m seeing in these comments, vitally attack others, hate and sit and call people to repentance when you don’t know 1. Why the pride flag was on the persons equipment & 2. We don’t personally know the person with the equipment. We are called be the example of love to Christ to others even when we see something we don’t agree with. . None of us know the person with the pride flag or the editor who edited and published this video. You also don’t know exactly how God is working in/within/ around this specific worker while working on this show about Jesus. You simply just don’t know. And do you (negative commenters) want to be the reason this person scrolls through thousands of hateful/hurting comments that makes them not (if not already) want to have a relationship with Jesus? So to assume there is some hidden agenda that started all of this controversy is actually mind blowing. . Let those that have ears listen to what Dallas and his team are saying regarding his responses. It may not be what you want to hear but I think he handled it very accordingly and in the livestream. And like he said still slept like a baby because he knows at the end of the day the mission/work he is doing is for the Lord. You can’t expect perfection from a man who isn’t perfect but has a heart to show the world the world about Jesus. . It’s all these negative self labeled “Christians” in comments for me who are saying, reacting, being, doing and giving the exact opposite response of what a Christian should be doing right now. It is for these reasons people stay away or look down on our beliefs because we can’t even uphold the value and principal “to love your neighbor just as you love yourself” and not just people who believe or think like us/ or select few, everyone- “Pride” people included. . I love Dallas and the whole Chosen cast/crew and the incredible impact has had and will continue to make across the globe.

Wow, Dallas allows Free Will and does not control every aspect in the lives of his employees. That's the same way God runs his creation during the Present Evil Age as the Apostle Paul calls it (Galatians 1:4) Only when Jesus Returns will the nations be ruled with the iron rod of Messiah (Psalms 2). The issue for me is the actors telling people if they don’t like it that they shouldn’t watch the show anymore. As an atheist just getting into the chosen I was concerned when I saw this video. I hadn’t heard anything about a controversy or a flag, this was my introduction. But I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a measured, respectful explanation, thank you. All love and support to you and the crew.
Why the LGBT life style feels entitled to publicly and nationally celebrate their sex life is beyond me. Especially being given a whole month to celebrate? And isn't pride a sin in and of itself?
Pride is the cardinal sin. Pride is believing you know better than God, it's what got Adam and Eve kicked out of the garden. Ain't it interesting that exactly 2000 years since Christ we as a culture designate an entire month to Pride, which specifically is focused on celebrating promiscuity with no boundaries as well as castrating children? Meanwhile, child sacrifice is the primary social issue debated in American politics. Don't worship the Beast. He's out and loud.
They're just blind. It's brain wash of the enemy... They don't see it as their sex life (not all), but more as a celebration of "being themselves". Thing is, Jesus doesn't call us to be "not gay" as much as he calls us to holiness. Meaning - when the heart changes - a life changes. Once you meet Christ, it is all sins that you find a distaste for, whereas before you didn't care. We are no better than someone practicing a gay lifestyle. We have our own sins. & I am not directing that at you - just saying generally speaking.
I have a nephew who is an assistant pastor. He ministers in a big way to the LGBT. He spends time with them, he shares the gospel with them and disciples them. But he does not put a pride flag on his car for their acceptance.
The Chosen did not put a pride flag on the set for acceptance. Implying that is the case is horrendous. A contract employee had a pride flag on his own equipment and it was missed in the production of a video about the making of The Chosen. A mistake!!!

Next thing I know you’re going to have roofers playing secular music working on your house and someone’s going to take a video of it and how are you going to explain that? Are you going to explain and apologize? The real question is- What is causing you to attack the gospel from being presented? Have you humbled and asked if there’s any demonic influence on your life leading you away from God while it’s masquerading as an angel of light? Satan twisted scripture, he didn’t even really twist it, he just tried to use it to lead Jesus away from his purpose to the destruction of others and what he presented was scripture as the only thing needed to fight it. I think what the real issue may be, and one you didn't address in you 18-point post is, whoever edited and posted the video, left the part with the "pride flag" in the video, when it easily could have been cut. You chose to keep that in the video.

The Actor who plays Jesus is a professing Knights Templar and Roman Catholic whom has also been caught on video praying the Rosemary which is not found in scripture. I don't care how the actor makes you feel what's important is scripture consistency and taking note if true followers of Jesus are the ones that are creating these shows but it seems no different than the religious Pharisees. Stay far away from Catholicism and don't treat the show as scripture. The show has brought many to read the scriptures for themselves and hence have seen what I am talking about.. christ came to abolish man-made religion don't fall for this show..
I am looking for reasons to look past this stuff, primarily the actor's noxious comments on their social media, not to ditch my support. Here's where I found my comfort: 5:44 "Even in this last week, some of our cast said some things online that I wouldn't have said and we talked about it and I just said you can say what you want, but I think, um, here's some examples of wisdom that we could practice ..." I take this to mean that Dallas basically told these guys, just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you should. I have zero care about who you hire and what your hires wear; what I do care about is your team displaying something that represents pride of sin in an official The Chosen video. I couldn't care less if that camera man only wore pride clothing while shooting scenes, just edit him and his equipment out of any videos being posted on this channel. This answer seemed very condescending. The tone was essentially, "Why do I have to deal with your hysterical criticisms?" At the same time, Jenkins completely avoided the actual issue. I don't know anyone who has an issue with The Chosen employing non-Christians. The primary issue is that an official video put out by The Chosen had a pride flag visible in it. At that point, the flag went from being someone's "personal workspace" to being part of the show. That's where a very serious line was crossed and Jenkins didn't even attempt to address that.
And actors speaking on their personal behalf, which still represent the image of the series, have denigrated a great amount of the audience. If there are no apologies from the actors and acknowledging that they should be respectful of the beliefs of christians they may not agree with, I don't see how they should personally choose to continue on if they don't believe in the beliefs of religions portrayed in the show. They could be pagans or Romans in the show, but they chose religious figures because some wanted fame.

You sound very nervous while speaking about this, Dallas. It’s understandable. You want to reach people with your show and not offend. HOWEVER, we are in the middle of a war in this country for the very souls of our children. We have an entire month celebrating a deadly sin. We can’t turn on the tv without having same sex or transgenderism shoved in our faces. Now they are after the most vulnerable and it won’t stop. So, a show like yours must be free of this agenda. Even a tiny flag puts a giant blot on the show.

I think I understand your point- sin is sin and should not be tolerated. I think we should uphold moral standards as best we can and not uphold things that are sinful- I also can't help but think of Jesus eating with sinners and saying "love your enemies, bless those who curse you." How can we bless the lives of others and love them if we show absolutely no tolerance. If they wear a pride shirt should we fire them or tell them they can't wear that? It can be a slippery slope.. How would we feel if they said we couldn't wear a Jesus Shirt or have some religious symbol displayed? Tolerance also can be a slippery slope,, I'm not sure where the point of balance is on this and maybe its individual just like our relationship with Him. The biggest issue for me is that the actors who played James and John and Judas said very unloving things to Christians who were concerned. Judith said good luck with that, about canceling the show, and then said happy pride month y'all. And then the name of the actor James called everybody who was unhappy with the pride flag and concerned about the situation homophobe and he or the guy who plays John called us bigots

I think it was giavani the actor who plays thaddeus? Who uninvited people from watching if they disagreed. I will have more trouble watching because of this than because of the flag.
From what I saw it was the Thaddeus actor and Little James actor. I saw the actor for John retweet one of “Thaddeus” tweets about loving their LGBTQ brothers and sisters but I didn’t see him call us bigots. Little James said the ugliest things. I was very disappointed to see that even though I have agreed with Dallas’ sentiment here the whole time. I think he should absolutely apologize. That was worse than the little tiny flag that some random crew member had. I never saw anything from the Judas actor but come on, it’s Judas “the one who betrayed Jesus” lol.
Ill be honest, in the United States, I can not wait until we reclaim the rainbow as a non gay symbol. Its such an awesome part of creation, the sign of one of the first covenants and beautiful to look at. I have beautiful bands of rainbows (tattoos) all over my left arm from when I was little and my father would tell me it’s was Gods promise. I got the, 15 years ago or so. It seems to me that Dallas edited this video to take out some of the more harsh/insulting ways he said things earlier. To me, it doesn't matter that the camera man wears his pride flag on his camera for work. What matters it that it was allowed to be shown on screen for the whole world to see. It ends up cheapening the words of Jesus Christ, and it deceives the world into thinking that it's okay with Jesus if people practice LGBTQ behavior.
I run a production company and would never allow a crew member to bring a pride flag on set. We ask crew to wear shirts with no text or logos to avoid any problems.
I don't understand how any company allows any personal beliefs at the company. Of course anyone who is qualified for the job should be allowed to have it, but personal beliefs should stay out of the workplace. And a company producing any religious content shouldn't allow anything anti that religion. Period

His response was we want to "remain above reproach" by removing the tv's that have the ability to watch Pornographic material on it. I initially had a response to this news that it was unacceptable and that I could not watch The Chosen anymore. Then...I prayed...and prayed....and prayed. I asked God to reveal to me through His Holy Spirit just how I should react. Everytime something like this happens no matter how big or small the issue, I am drawn to put myself in others shoes. Now, to say that we didnt know that some actors on The Chosen were not believers is disingenuous. We have known that from the beginning. The devil knows this as well. Seeing as how it is now more than halfway done and has brought so many to Christ. In these last days Satan was not going to just sit and watch as people were being lead to righteousness so effectively. I dont agree with pride or pride flags or what they represent. I know it is not all of them but their movement seems to mock God at every turn. Through prayer and listening to God, He put it on my heart that the devil is doing everything he can to mess up this messianic masterwork. Immediatley after, my heart was filled with sadness and I knew that it was because the devil was finally getting a foothold on just how to divide us who love this show and see it as a tool that God is using to bring His children closer to Him. With the ball rolling and season 4 filming underway and the success that it was building and the testimony it was providing..there is just no way the evil one was not going to attempt to throw a wrench into the wheels of the production. I keep seeing people say "Jesus hung out with sinners" and though it is absolutely true, we are leaving something out. Paul said he became many different things to many different people that he might lead some to God. I am not saying that there are people walking around the production of The Chosen actively preaching the gospel and turning souls toward Christ while at the same time completely ignoring and/or supporting their "pride" and what their flag actually means in the eyes of those that follow Christ. What I am saying is that when we approach a situation with love and talk to peoples hearts instead of their minds..we open up a dialog of understanding that puts us in the mindstate that initially allowed this person to support what it is they support. When we connect on that level and form a real friendship, we then are able to share our testimony and just how Jesus saved another wretch from the bottomless pit of sin. This kind of communication is 100% more effective and built on stone. Calling someone out and initalizing a defunct back and forth through facebook comments is built on sand (in other words inevitably falling apart due to many different things). My opinion on whether or not showing the flag was right or wrong is nothing more than conjecture. It is one more snare set within our communication meant to be a stumbling block and is unnecessary to analyze. We are all immortal beings inside of our mortal flesh and if we do not die daily to our flesh we open up a freeway, so to speak, for demons to setup shop and effect our thinking..The armor of God is also extremely necessary in these last days. Going into a dialog with someone displaying a symbol that affends you and your faith without praying first is usually not productive and has a very good chance of blowing up into an argument of sorts. Last but certainly not least...the response from Dallas...Dallas has been very open about what he believes in. I dont see this as a politically correct response..I see this as a response from someone who works extremely hard to bring to the world an unprecedented show about Jesus Christ and His disciples, and along the way has encountered many problems that were all handled through prayer. To those who think there is a conspiracy at work or the show is "tainted" so to speak, I love you all and I know that you are standing up against lgbtq ideology due to it being an an abomination in Gods eyes. We are called to judge with righteous judgement and also to hate the sin and not the sinner. That being said, Dallas has always been straight forward and honest about everything going on. The enemy is not only focused on us the viewers but I have to assume that the people in charge of the creation of each episode are being attacked on a much higher level. I think his response is diplomatic and I understand why it is so. But I also think it is clear. He tried to put the issue where it is; they do not police cast and crew about their views. He clarifies that it is not a ministry. He also took a moment to clarify his personal views on the issue. I see why many are not satisfied but I think it is a fair response. Regarding the comparison of a price flag and a confederate flag in the context that it was used, I don;t agree the effect is the same. But my guess is that you disagree.

Yep. That was my line in the sand. I'm done. I am no longer a @upporter or a fan. And as the chosen actor Giavani Cairo so "aptly" told us, "I closed the door on my way out."
And he never denounced or even tried to walk back the actors' out of line comments. I don't care about the pride flag (although I think it was purposely left in or placed in the footage) . The main reason I'll no longer support the show is what those arrogant actors said. He clearly has no control over his employees nor does he seem to care what they say.
How do you reach the lost from your Christian ghettos? Jesus hung out with tax collectors and a woman who was a demonized prostitute when she met him. How do you know that the Holy Spirit isn't going to convict and save all of these people because of their working on The Chosen? Beware the yeast of the Pharisees. People who say shit like this have no concept of the history of discrimination against gay people. Or they do, but don't really care about gay people because they live a life of privilege free from persecution. Pride can mean multiple things in different contexts. Having excessive Pride can mean being arrogant. Having to much Pride to apologize means being unable to accept your faults. But there are also things like taking pride in your work, being proud of what you've accomplished. It's a matter of balance in my opinion. Do you guys also think the "Black Pride" movement is an issue? Like the one that demanded equal rights for all Americans. Im a devoted Christian. I repented of homosexuality/bisexuality when I got saved, among a number of other things that were part of my old self before Christ redeemed me. Gods Word is clear about that sin, you cannot have both. You have to crucify your old self and carry your Cross with Him daily. That is what The Word tells us, and that is how I live my life. I have no regrets. The love and peace He gives me is worth it all. He is Worthy of it all.

Sadly, they are not. I love the show and it is absolutely wonderful. Hundreds are being saved by the message. However, when we allow Satan a foot in the door, it won't be long before he takes up residence and the show will change. I think he completely avoided the real issue. He spent most of the video talking about his decision to hire non-Christians. I don't remember him saying why they published a video with an LGBT flag in it. Furthermore, I found his "I answer to God" line very condescending. He's obviously afraid of offending Mormons, Catholics, and the LGBT crowd, but has no problems offending faithful Christians. Can he really argue that this is all motivated by a desire to please God?

honestly, what did it for me was the actors' response. I was fine until that happened. Hear hear. Dallas is doing his best, and something like the flag was bound to happen with a production this huge. But the RESPONSE from the actors running their mouths, attacking fans and posting their own pride flags defiantly on social media is what made it 100x worse. I will never be able to see them in a scene again and not be taken out of it.
I know there's no litmus test for the general crew and maybe there shouldn't be. I'm happy that people involved with the production are being exposed to the gospel. But for the actors playing the disciples, who became the apostles, who bled and died not for "spreading love" but for confronting the lies of their culture with the truth of the gospel, maybe there should've been.
In as much as I originally supported this because of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, I can only pray for the LGBTQ community and their repentance and conversion. They call it pride month but it's not something to be pride about. Kids these days are easily swayed and think it's okay to be a lesbian, gay, trans and others. We respect them for what they believe and they can keep it to themselves but it's NOT OKAY for kids or a grown up to believe that there are more than 2 genders. God created a man and a woman. Mr Jenkins wonderful words of clarity. This world is diverse and God it’s creator. The main base is accepting without judgments because no mater our believes, sexual inclination, gender we are God’s children you like it or not. This production is full of wonderful lessons where Jesus’ unconditional loves towards his children is shown on every episode from season 1. Why look for controversy on a subject that is already a conflict worldwide.. keep fighting for what you believe, fight your war. But just don’t pick a fight with everyone because you “think” is your enemy. I believe in heterosexuality but have wonderful homosexual friends who I love immense, never judged or questioned. Leave this production alone, don’t try to hurt or make it as your cause. Don’t like it? that’s fine. The whole world loves it and I’m part of it. Thank you Mr Dallas and the whole cast and crew. This is the most wonderful story tell by a man that fought to the end teaching us love each other. Still teaching and stays present even after 2000 years. God bless you all. I believe God works in mysterious ways. Nothing happens by chance. Even if you lose some viewers, or have some people who will try to "cancel" you. This could be a blessing in disguise. You might end up gaining a whole new set of viewers that did not know Jesus Christ, have felt unloved, or have not been open to hearing his message because in the past they may have felt ostracized by some Christian communities. You are doing Gods work ❤ with your show. You are touching peoples hearts and brining the Good News to millions of people. Dont lose faith. Keep doing what you are doing! I was very into this series and told everyone that wasn’t about it. Something happened about two months ago that just turned me off to it and I could not understand why. I am going to have to wait for The Lord on this one.

If the world sees Christians and angry and judgmental, how does that reflect God? Can't we show them Jesus, instead. When they really see who He is, then they can make a choice about their lifestyles in response to Him. If they continue to sin, the judgement is for God, not for us.

What an amazing miracle that the story of the Gospels is being made to such a professional level that it being watched by many who would never usually consider it, and lives are being transformed. Maybe this should be the priority. Dallas is doing a great job and not compromising on his own moral standards or on the moral standards in the show. The show's content is unchanged. The only difference is that you now know that the show's creators actively allow non-believers to work on their set. They aren't writers. If you're not willing to allow sinners access to "your" show, then you've failed at comprehending the message... and this also begs the question... why were YOU watching? If someone is living a lie and not only are you just cool with it but you nourish and cater to those lies, that means you are enabling them. You are an enabler. And that sick complacency is what people call "love"? They must have a very very very low view of what love is then. If a parent were like "I let my kids play with an electric socket and electrocute themselves to death because I love them and didn't want to offend them" that parent would be arrested for negligence! To be okay with someone falling prey to a lie is the same as wishing evil on them. And if you wish evil for someone you do NOT really love them. That's emotional manipulation not love. Real love is bold and passionate, not weak and complacent. Catering to a delusion that puts someone in danger is manipulative and deceptive and totally cold, apathetic and unloving. The motivation for why most people cater to the lies is not love, it's actually just cowardice. They don't want to get attacked by the mob, they're just saving their own skin so they go along with whatever logical absurdity is being pushed even though deep down they know it's lies. Such a person is severely deficient in love, reason, virtue, honesty and common sense. At the end of the day there are two things that rule a man: either truth or stupidity. Sadly the majority of the people today are opting for the latter.

If you genuinely care about someone's well-being it is sometimes necessary to take them out of their comfort zone and show them the reality of how things work, to increase their awareness and understanding, for the greater benefit of them. Often times love goes against emotion because our emotions and desires more often than not are the greatest threat to our own well-being. We sabotage and destroy ourselves, our relationships, our societies, and our peace based on feelings.

So you can't take it personally. If someone can be easily "offended" then their assurance in their own position isn't very strong. When you are in a state of absolute assurance in your position and no argument can stand against it, no petty insult can waver that assurance or make you feel less validated. Self-validation is only necessary if what you believe is not actually the truth. Self validation is a defence mechanism to maintain a delusion, yet you see Woke people doing this all the time. Everyone has to validate them otherwise they'll have a panic attack. But if their position were true, there'd be no good reason why this should be the case. As the saying goes, "Lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep." The fact that these people are always offended and triggered at the slightest dissent or disagreement and will instantaneously resort to name calling and ad hominems, that exposes the weakness of their ideologies. And when you examine their arguments this is confirmed, that their ideologies really don't have much going for it. And that's the reason why they need to leech validation and emotional support from everyone around them, to remain secure in their own delusions and their false misguided sense of identity.

The Actor who plays Jesus is a professing Knights Templar and Roman Catholic whom has also been caught on video praying the Rosemary which is not found in scripture.
I don't care how the actor makes you feel what's important is scripture consistency and taking note if true followers of Jesus are the ones that are creating these shows but it seems no different than the religious Pharisees.

A few things came to mind when watching this.
1) The Chosen is not a ministry first. It is a for profit public company. Money is it’s primary object; not ministry. I wonder what the spiritual implications of having all different types of folks building this show are. The Solomon analogy is a good one, but you have to carry it all the way out. Solomon ended up in a hot mess with the one true God because of all the different pagan gods his wives (read “family”) introduced him to.
2) It’s one thing for a crew member to have a pride flag on his rig. However, once that flag is waved in a promotional video, it’s no longer just an individual crew member’s statement to his fellow colleagues on set; it is now a statement by “The Chosen” to the world. That flag could easily have been edited out but it wasn’t. Nor did Dallas acknowledge or apologize for misrepresenting his own claimed beliefs by leaving it in the promo. If he doesn’t agree with the pride flag, why not just edit it out, re-launch the promo and apologize for the confusion since it “doesn’t represent the beliefs of The Chosen”.
3) This controversy during pride month seems awfully convenient.

As long as the chosen continues to make a series that shows the heart of Jesus, and stays True to that, i dont care if they let crew members be who they are, Jesus will sort them out and perhaps working on this project will be the only exposure to Jesus and the Gospel they ever get.
You hit the hammer on the nail. Too many controversies with the behind the scenes with this show. This isn't the first one a d won't be the last. We have to be in "The Word" and have Holy Spirit leads us in discernment when it comes to secular shows, music ( ear gates and eye gates) its a beautifully produced and staged show, there is no denying that. But if the show to the root is tainted then the fruit will be rotten eventually.
Honestly, I love the fact that they are allowing and utilizing skilled workers to work on their sets. I can think of no better witness of the gospel than to have them there part of seeing these stories of Jesus unfold. Perhaps Jesus visiting with Zacchaeus would have seemed like an endorsement of his lifestyle, but it wasn't. The very presence of Jesus changed Zacchaeus. Jesus doesn't fit in the religious box back then, or now. When Jesus called his disciples, most would not have been considered the "holiest" or "worthiest" to be his disciples and yet he chose them as they were to be an active part of his ministry. Dallas said this person does not represent the beliefs of the Chosen, and they will continue to hire people who will work well and use their skills to bring forth these amazing Jesus glorifying stories.

If, by watching the show, people are led to read the scriptures for themselves and therefore convert based on how Jesus is represented in scripture I believe it’s a higher likelihood that the seed of the truth of God’s word fell on fertile soil and can take root for a lifelong change. If, however, there are converts based on the “character” of Jesus as he is portrayed on the show and it doesn’t go deeper than those converts are more likely to be rocky soil and/or weedy/thorny soil and their faith won’t withstand the trials of life when it’s comes time to really sacrifice for the faith. Please read Matthew 13.

What if YOU and your lifestyle are what has contributed to the population of the LGBT. God calls us to love everyone, and Jesus walked the face of the earth casting out demons, healing the sick, and showing mercy, not sacrifice. Our large usage of plastic have mimicked hormonal development in the human body, causing chemistry changes that impact sexual identity. THAT is why we have a growing population of youth dealing with sexual identity. Largely, we did this to them, and to ourselves. I know this because my brother-in-law was hired by the USA gov to research the increasing birth rate of intersexed souls. His research confirmed it was due to heavy usage of plastics in our culture. There is growing knowledge of this. Stop hating them. You only serve Satan when you hate them. Love them like Jesus loves them.
By the measure you judge you too will be judged. The lost cannot be reached if you condemn them instead of, like Jesus, reach out to them and offer them the Gospel message. There are sins of commission but also sins of omission. Just sayin'. Jesus hung out with sinners that they might be saved.

As a follower of Christ, trying to live as he lived while on earth, He expects us to love one another. The only people he castigated were those in authority who judged peoples lives and choices - the Pharisees and Sadducees that put burdens on people that they were unwilling to carry themselves. So I guess I'm calling out those who want to ostracize those who dont seem to measure up to a cookie cutter standard of Christianity. Dallas is allowing God to work in producing The Chosen - that has been shown over and over again. Dallas' standard for those who work on his set are quite in line with Jesus' principles in the Gospels - A new commandment I give you, Love one another as I would love you - attached to John 3:16 'For God so loved the World . . .' He wants us to love the sinner not ostracize him/her for making bad choices.
It's unfortunate but after the actors and actresses made those statements. It's kind of difficult to watch them play a role and see them as the character they are portraying.

Just like many of us have family members who differ from our beliefs....it happens in all families. Dallas/Chosen is not promoting anything like that. It is NOT in the show. It was seen in a behind the scenes video by accident. Now some of the actors give me pause with their public statements. But that is not anything in the show....just an actor. I may unfollow those actors. But this is not about the Chosen. But to say it is promoting PRIDE is a bit of a stretch.
The show has made such a difference in my life. I know the same can be said for lots of other people. I don’t know how people expect a diverse group of people to work together and not have different views. Think about all the people that walked with Jesus every day. He walked with tax collectors, sinners, prostitutes, drunkards, and the list goes on. That does not mean that he Excepted their choices. He spoke the truth in love, and I believe that is what the chosen is trying to do. I love and will continue to support the chosen.
The pride flag is not on the show it's on behind the scenes. They don't have to show behind the scenes. Plus the show's focus is to bring people to a loving and reverential relationship with Christ Jesus and they are doing a great job at doing this. Planting good seeds.

I didn’t even know this big controversy was happening until I logged into The Chosen App to catch up on some videos/BTS content and saw the previous livestream about the pride flag topic posted so I watched to see what all the hubba was about.

I think how Dallas is/has handled the situation speaks volumes about his integrity and commitment as a person of faith and to his show. He not only address the controversial topics at hands and the decisions that are being made on set, but he sits down to fully breakdown and explain the situation with fans and everyone else who is SEARCHING for a reason to target the integrity of the show.

I have the upmost respect for Dallas and his team because I couldn’t imagine being the one on the other side of this situation being attacked verbally behind thousands of people behind a screen or in person by something as innocent as not noticing a pride flag in a promotional video that was on a workers personal equipment. Do we/you really think that if editors of the video or Dallas would have noticed it beforehand, they would have continued to post it KNOWING y’all would react like this? The Chosen show that is directed/produced by Dallas has reached MILLIONS of people around the Globe that has brought many people to want to know more about Jesus, give their lives to Jesus and/or support the show in whatever means that looks like. Do we have the right to our opinions? Yes. Do we have the right to be genuinely concerned when something pops up that is cause for some belief in our faith (eg.-pride flag)? Yes. But what we are NOT supposed to do cast all these stones that I’m seeing in these comments, vitally attack others, hate and sit and call people to repentance when you don’t know 1. Why the pride flag was on the persons equipment & 2. We don’t personally know the person with the equipment. We are called be the example of love to Christ to others even when we see something we don’t agree with.

Let those that have ears listen to what Dallas and his team are saying regarding his responses. It may not be what you want to hear but I think he handled it very accordingly and in the livestream. And like he said still slept like a baby because he knows at the end of the day the mission/work he is doing is for the Lord. He ministers in a big way to the LGBT. He spends time with them, he shares the gospel with them and disciples them.
But he does not put a pride flag on his car for their acceptance.
The Chosen did not put a pride flag on the set for acceptance. Implying that is the case is horrendous. A contract employee had a pride flag on his own equipment and it was missed in the production of a video about the making of The Chosen. A mistake!!!

Are you going to explain and apologize? The real question is- What is causing you to attack the gospel from being presented? Have you humbled and asked if there’s any demonic influence on your life leading you away from God while it’s masquerading as an angel of light? I am looking for reasons to look past this stuff, primarily the actor's noxious comments on their social media, not to ditch my support. Here's where I found my comfort: 5:44 "Even in this last week, some of our cast said some things online that I wouldn't have said and we talked about it and I just said you can say what you want, but I think, um, here's some examples of wisdom that we could practice ..." I take this to mean that Dallas basically told these guys, just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you should. This answer seemed very condescending. The tone was essentially, "Why do I have to deal with your hysterical criticisms?" At the same time, Jenkins completely avoided the actual issue. I don't know anyone who has an issue with The Chosen employing non-Christians. The primary issue is that an official video put out by The Chosen had a pride flag visible in it. At that point, the flag went from being someone's "personal workspace" to being part of the show. That's where a very serious line was crossed and Jenkins didn't even attempt to address that.
And actors speaking on their personal behalf, which still represent the image of the series, have denigrated a great amount of the audience. If there are no apologies from the actors and acknowledging that they should be respectful of the beliefs of christians they may not agree with, I don't see how they should personally choose to continue on if they don't believe in the beliefs of religions portrayed in the show. They could be pagans or Romans in the show, but they chose religious figures because some wanted fame.

HOWEVER, we are in the middle of a war in this country for the very souls of our children. We have an entire month celebrating a deadly sin. We can’t turn on the tv without having same sex or transgenderism shoved in our faces. Now they are after the most vulnerable and it won’t stop. So, a show like yours must be free of this agenda. I think I understand your point- sin is sin and should not be tolerated. I think we should uphold moral standards as best we can and not uphold things that are sinful- I also can't help but think of Jesus eating with sinners and saying "love your enemies, bless those who curse you." How can we bless the lives of others and love them if we show absolutely no tolerance. If they wear a pride shirt should we fire them or tell them they can't wear that? It can be a slippery slope.. How would we feel if they said we couldn't wear a Jesus Shirt or have some religious symbol displayed? I saw the actor for John retweet one of “Thaddeus” tweets about loving their LGBTQ brothers and sisters but I didn’t see him call us bigots. Little James said the ugliest things. I was very disappointed to see that even though I have agreed with Dallas’ sentiment here the whole time. I think he should absolutely apologize. That was worse than the little tiny flag that some random crew member had. I never saw anything from the Judas actor but come on, it’s Judas “the one who betrayed Jesus” lol.

Ill be honest, in the United States, I can not wait until we reclaim the rainbow as a non gay symbol. Its such an awesome part of creation, the sign of one of the first covenants and beautiful to look at. I hate that its been hijacked, like maybe sometimes id like a rainbow shirt or sticker without people assuming its lgbtq.
Edit: So many fantastic comments below! I feel that I should add, lgbtq are human beings made in the image of God, as deserving of love, mercy and grace as we are. It's an ungodly mindset and practice, but Satan is the God of this age working hard to blind everything he can.

I have beautiful bands of rainbows (tattoos) all over my left arm from when I was little and my father would tell me it’s was Gods promise. I got the, 15 years ago or so. Nowadays the only people that comment on them are 99 percent the crowd you’d think. I just say thank you and if they ask I explain, but they rarely ask. I just try to be representative of what I would think Jesus would like me to act. The rainbow hasn’t changed, don’t let anybody ruin it❤❤❤
How could they do that? God's rainbow is His promise that He will not destroy us again with the floods, and those demons puppeteering the people in power have come up with the idea to put it as a symbol that celebrates an active sin against Him...
I teach by three boys under 5 GOD rainbow 🌈 has 7 colors all the other rainbow you will see are not the true rainbow of God. So when they begin to get exposed they can count the colors and say hey that’s not the rainbow of God. I repeat to them male and female animals went to Noah’s ark husband and wife man and woman. Mama and papa emphasizing the right so then when the wrong is exposed to them they were from babies given the right way. God will lead us thorough his spirit how to address these times and raise our kids his own children in his way in his word. (The pride original colors are 6 colors funny how the mark of the beast is 666 lol and we know the heavenly God is 777) God will guide is easily in these messed up times praise be our God the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob (aka Israel)
No accident the rainbow flag was chosen by the powers and principalities. The rainbow being God's promise not to destroy humanity again due to our sinful ways. proudly waving that promise in His face mockingly.

It seems to me that Dallas edited this video to take out some of the more harsh/insulting ways he said things earlier. To me, it doesn't matter that the camera man wears his pride flag on his camera for work. What matters it that it was allowed to be shown on screen for the whole world to see. It ends up cheapening the words of Jesus Christ, and it deceives the world into thinking that it's okay with Jesus if people practice LGBTQ behavior.

I run a production company and would never allow a crew member to bring a pride flag on set. We ask crew to wear shirts with no text or logos to avoid any problems.
I don't understand how any company allows any personal beliefs at the company. Of course anyone who is qualified for the job should be allowed to have it, but personal beliefs should stay out of the workplace. And a company producing any religious content shouldn't allow anything anti that religion. Period
Yes!! Years ago I remember an interview with Billy Graham and the report ask "why do you and your crew have the TV's taken out of the hotel rooms were you stay?" His response was we want to "remain above reproach" by removing the tv's that have the ability to watch Pornographic material on it. Provides protection for me and my crew from 1 the temptation and 2 it eliminates the ability for someone to make false accusations against us." We can't watch what we don't have.

I initially had a response to this news that it was unacceptable and that I could not watch The Chosen anymore. Then...I prayed...and prayed....and prayed.
I asked God to reveal to me through His Holy Spirit just how I should react. Everytime something like this happens no matter how big or small the issue, I am drawn to put myself in others shoes. Now, to say that we didnt know that some actors on The Chosen were not believers is disingenuous. We have known that from the beginning. The devil knows this as well. Seeing as how it is now more than halfway done and has brought so many to Christ. In these last days Satan was not going to just sit and watch as people were being lead to righteousness so effectively. I dont agree with pride or pride flags or what they represent. I know it is not all of them but their movement seems to mock God at every turn.
Through prayer and listening to God, He put it on my heart that the devil is doing everything he can to mess up this messianic masterwork. Immediatley after, my heart was filled with sadness and I knew that it was because the devil was finally getting a foothold on just how to divide us who love this show and see it as a tool that God is using to bring His children closer to Him. With the ball rolling and season 4 filming underway and the success that it was building and the testimony it was providing..there is just no way the evil one was not going to attempt to throw a wrench into the wheels of the production.
I keep seeing people say "Jesus hung out with sinners" and though it is absolutely true, we are leaving something out. Paul said he became many different things to many different people that he might lead some to God. I am not saying that there are people walking around the production of The Chosen actively preaching the gospel and turning souls toward Christ while at the same time completely ignoring and/or supporting their "pride" and what their flag actually means in the eyes of those that follow Christ. What I am saying is that when we approach a situation with love and talk to peoples hearts instead of their minds..we open up a dialog of understanding that puts us in the mindstate that initially allowed this person to support what it is they support. When we connect on that level and form a real friendship, we then are able to share our testimony and just how Jesus saved another wretch from the bottomless pit of sin. This kind of communication is 100% more effective and built on stone. Calling someone out and initalizing a defunct back and forth through facebook comments is built on sand (in other words inevitably falling apart due to many different things).
My opinion on whether or not showing the flag was right or wrong is nothing more than conjecture. It is one more snare set within our communication meant to be a stumbling block and is unnecessary to analyze. We are all immortal beings inside of our mortal flesh and if we do not die daily to our flesh we open up a freeway, so to speak, for demons to setup shop and effect our thinking..The armor of God is also extremely necessary in these last days. Going into a dialog with someone displaying a symbol that affends you and your faith without praying first is usually not productive and has a very good chance of blowing up into an argument of sorts.
Last but certainly not least...the response from Dallas...Dallas has been very open about what he believes in. I dont see this as a politically correct response..I see this as a response from someone who works extremely hard to bring to the world an unprecedented show about Jesus Christ and His disciples, and along the way has encountered many problems that were all handled through prayer. To those who think there is a conspiracy at work or the show is "tainted" so to speak, I love you all and I know that you are standing up against lgbtq ideology due to it being an an abomination in Gods eyes. We are called to judge with righteous judgement and also to hate the sin and not the sinner. That being said, Dallas has always been straight forward and honest about everything going on. The enemy is not only focused on us the viewers but I have to assume that the people in charge of the creation of each episode are being attacked on a much higher level. Instead of wasting energy on one person having a sticker on their equipment why dont we stop for a minute and go to God with all perseverance and supplication, in faith, that this person see God for who HE really is and that the Holy Spirit touch them and change their life.. then the sticker will be no more. There is so much more I want to say but this has already turned into a novel.

First and foremost, I love you and your family and I respect your interpretation of scripture based on research and faith...I agree 100% that Mormons worship a completely different Jesus and we need to guide them that have that frame of mind. We have been commisioned to do just that.
God has givin us a true purpose and ears to hear as well as eyes to see. Our fellow brothers and sisters of the Mormon faith have been indoctrinated into a false world view and set of beliefs. Having said all of that we need to be dilligent and ready at all times to give an explanation for the faith and love inside of us. Jesus hung out with those that were furthest away from the truth in order to bring them to the shoreline and to then have Jesus take them by the hand and through faith have them walk on the water.
Lastly, I just wanted to see if you might be able to guide me to the video and timestamp of Dallas saying he believes in the Mormon Jesus..Just for my own journey into apologetics.

I think his response is diplomatic and I understand why it is so. But I also think it is clear. He tried to put the issue where it is; they do not police cast and crew about their views. He clarifies that it is not a ministry. He also took a moment to clarify his personal views on the issue. I see why many are not satisfied but I think it is a fair response. I think issues with The Chosen should be focused on the content of the show. Regarding the comparison of a price flag and a confederate flag in the context that it was used, I don;t agree the effect is the same. But my guess is that you disagree.
What I'm struggling with the most is how I can continue to watch (and donate) with the same heart and mind knowing the things that your actors have said about the dedicated viewers because they took a stand on what the Word of God says concerning this very subject. Heartbreaking.

And he never denounced or even tried to walk back the actors' out of line comments. I don't care about the pride flag (although I think it was purposely left in or placed in the footage) . The main reason I'll no longer support the show is what those arrogant actors said. He clearly has no control over his employees nor does he seem to care what they say.
How do you reach the lost from your Christian ghettos? Jesus hung out with tax collectors and a woman who was a demonized prostitute when she met him. How do you know that the Holy Spirit isn't going to convict and save all of these people because of their working on The Chosen? Beware the yeast of the Pharisees. Try praying that the Holy Spirit will reach and save people through their being on this show instead of condemning them. Leave the condemnation up to God. Ours is to present the Gospel and pray and make disciples whenever possible. Jesus came to hang out with you...a sinner; why not afford others the same grace?
Anytime you donate, you do so with the faith that God will use it. We have seen the testimonies of so many who were touched by the Chosen...God is using everyone on the Chosen regardless of their beliefs

People who say shit like this have no concept of the history of discrimination against gay people. Or they do, but don't really care about gay people because they live a life of privilege free from persecution.
Pride can mean multiple things in different contexts. Having excessive Pride can mean being arrogant. Having to much Pride to apologize means being unable to accept your faults.
But there are also things like taking pride in your work, being proud of what you've accomplished.
It's a matter of balance in my opinion.
Do you guys also think the "Black Pride" movement is an issue? Like the one that demanded equal rights for all Americans.

I think what you wanted to say was: Pride in Black pride means accept and rejoice that you are who you are: black. (you are who you are do relate to God) Then you want to reapply this to gay pride. Bisexuality people are bisexuality attracted to the same gender. The word Gay can encompass all three of these in casual speech.
