The scene where Jesus walks past everyone after healing all day, to the end with no talking or music, was for me the most powerful so far. In those moments I felt the weight of my sin but also love for my Saviour.
I cried because he was giving so much I don't know if I'm going to be able to watch the Crucifixion. You do it do well I'll watch with a whole box of tissues Love you all and God is everywhere. Carlene Barber
The actors portrayed how small, how petty, how loveless, we can all be even with Him living inside of each one of us. His love 💘 should break our hearts 💕 so completely that we become the reflection of that love to everyone else, saved and insaved alike.
Yes it was me too! To be honest I was upset at Simon going after Matthew, but I realized no Matthew left his family everything to work for the Roman government he betrayed them. Also I I got that Mary Jesus's mother didn't know Matthew was a tax collector because it was almost that she was kind of clueless of not knowing that that when she walked back into the conversation from the food she overheard the conversation that Simon was going at Matthew she walked in like very slowly I thought she was going to really get angry and have resentment towards Matthew learning he was a tax collector. That's what I thought the scene was going to happen but then Jesus was walking into the scene coming back from the exhausting day.
The argument between Simon & Matthew was perfect. They were real people with real feelings just like us. But what hit me hard was “the look”Jesus gave them. He didn’t need words. All he had to do was look at them and they knew, they were all wrong and just sat down. I thought, how often have I been arguing & gotten that look from Jesus in my heart, and he completely shut me down and I had to rethink my attitude. This is my favorite scene so far. Also when Mary said. He doesn’t need me so much. Even in his tiredness he knew her need to be a mom, & let her minister to him. I will never forget it.
The Holy Scriptures are FULL of the the disciples thought they were superior.. Remember when in Luke 22:24..... Matthew 18: 1-4... Mark 9:33-36..... Dallas, you and your crew, have done EXACTLY what I’ve thought how these men responded. Also, the love how you did Mary the mother of Jesus... She KNEW she needed HIS salvation like us all... BEAUTIFUL, you are dong a great job... REMEMBER, the prince of this world HATES this.....God bless you all
as someone with autism, we all need that one friend who comes along side of us and understands that we dont get it, but that we dont mean to be rude (most of the time) who can by example and whatever else, bring attention to the things we just cant see on our own. its the vital support and walking WITH us that helps change outcomes and lives
The ending scene of Jesus walking to the tent, the group standing in awe after all the arguing, Mary washing His feet was by far the most impactful scene, it took my breath away, I sobbed in awe of the sacrifice, love and commitment of our Savior….left me in awe for days!! 🙌🏻
I totally agree with you but I don't know if anyone caught this, but mother Mary had just finished saying that she supposed that he didn't need her anymore. Jesus knew exactly what she said. it broke my heart. as she was helping him washing his feet, and cleaning him up. when he said to her, I don't know what I would do without you.💔
The Chosen is now close to a place in the bible that I was reading a few years ago. It was in Matthew. The part where Jesus was speaking to the scribes and Pharisees. Well there's a lot of Jesus speaking to them but this time when things read it I felt that I finally received the meaning. GOD just wants all of us to be Friends with Him! After realizing this, my heart broke after reading, "...he wept." I just, with my minds eye, saw Jesus leaning on a rock, weeping for humanity because he loves us so, so much. I think that's the day I began my personal walk with GOD. I had been saved for years, but that day and since, It's Personal!! Thank you Lord Jesus!
When Mary was just feeling not "needed" , Jesus comes walking past, obviously exhausted, she pauses, goes to him and is able to again care for him as only a mother can. There was such a beautiful moment. ❤️ thank you
As a mother of 2 grown men, the line "He doesn't need me anymore!" brought me to tears as I know my "job" is finished -- I pray my sons know I'm always there for them, no matter what, just as Mother Mary was there for Jesus! Love their relationship!
As the firstborn son to a mother who raised me as a single mother until I was 12 years old, that part also hit me hard as well as Jesus being exhausted and His mother coming to tend to Him. It made me think that as a 24 year old going on 25, my mom still worries and cares for me as much as she did when I was born, but in a different form since I’m not as helpless as an infant. Still, seeing how she’s willing to make me soup or see how I’m doing when I’m sick makes me feel that that kind of love never goes away. I once thought it would when my other siblings were born but the love is still there and always will be. I’m already starting to cry just writing this
They will always need you. Maybe not to feed them food, but with wisdom and faith, prayers, knowledge and advice. Woman of value, you are very much needed! May God bless your family and your life
The scene of Mary washing Jesus...as a mother with a grown son who knows the feeling of not being needed by your son at this adult point in his life...I felt her loss, the pain...and then I wept with joy that swept through me knowing she felt the same..."He loves me, he still needs me." Thank you for writing this scene as you did, Dallas.
This does not glorify Mary, but God through Christ. Its a beautiful picture of how Jesus is both God and human completely. Such grace, praise Jesus! It is however beautiful of the image, Jesus is the perfect Son, from before the Creation of the world.
Texas-- I am so grateful for your words. Poignant, on point, but this is such a topic of the heart that few can see and feel, yet MANY have experienced. Please pray my daughter returns to Jesus and me? Thank you.

About halfway through that opening scene I realized I was watching something I had NEVER seen before! One take, one camera, the sun is setting, the light is waning. It gets more and more beautiful as it proceeds. My jaw was on the ground. The care, the thought, the professionalism, the many little miracles that made that happen - Dallas, this series is blessed! I’m in prayer, stay in prayer, this needs to get completed.
The part when Mary said ‘he was cold and was crying’ made me think how good God is to send his only son into a world so fallen. Episode 3 was so special 💓
I wish I had enough money to back this whole project in one go so that I can watch The Choosen all day long. It’s so enlightening. Love from India. P.S. Not a Christian, love for Jesus growing tremendously.

@@aadityagrewal13 Hi there, Um... do you know what they're referring to??? How does wanting to fund this (something I want too) mean that you don't have a relationship with God or our Savior and redeemer? I felt like their comments were a wee tad judgemental or presumptive, and that they were assuming that wanting to "Binge Jesus" and wanting to fund the whole thing means you haven't found Jesus and already & don't have him in your heart??? 🤔 How are those two things mutually exclusive? They are separate to me. I am going through a Really difficult time right now caring for my parents with dementia, in their late 80's And living with a life limiting illness too. This show and much prayer Renews my soul and gives me A Lot of comfort and Peace. So I just watch what's already been done, over and over until a new season comes out. Taking care of both of my parents means I get up at 6am and go to bed at around 2am and sometimes get up in the night to help them too. I don't have time for TV. But I will watch an episode of this, say my prayers, turn my struggles over to the Lord and get a little sleep. I am so confused. Am I missing something??? 🤔 Maybe you can enlighten my perspective? Idk. Lol. Have an Amazing Day/Evening everyone! ❤
I see Simon as a hothead but mostly as a protector. And sometimes protectors are hotheaded. ☺️ I am personally very happy with all the episodes and storylines. Jesus going to his mama at the end just hit me so hard because I have 4 kids and 3 of them are adults. To see the adult Jesus need his mother was so beautiful. ❤️😭
This episode out of all of them definitely had me so emotional.. when Jesus walked past and simply said “Goodnight” I broke down into tears. Just knowing how selfless and loving He is & yet we continue to put our issues and ourselves first.. it was a moment of realisation and pure emotion that I needed to experience
Personally I loved the scene with Simon and Matthew. As a theologian and pastor, I love how you are delving into the relationship BETWEEN the disciples. I can admit that I’ve really never given it any thought at all. The insight you are bringing is so helpful to humanize the disciples. That they have problems with each other is hinted at in the Gospels, such as the debate about who is the leader or the greatest...but often they are just held up as a unified entity. But they were not...they were also humans with flaws and issues. So, this time on their relationships is powerful and I appreciate you showing these clashes and interactions.
And while we don't know what the personalities of the real apostles were like, it's very worthwhile to portray them as having such, thereby humanizing them.
Amen and alleluia. I don’t understand the critics at all. Yes, some of this is not in the Bible but rather, an imagining, trying to expand our understanding and for that I am grateful. I only discovered The Chosen from the Messengers Christmas special and cried when Jesus was born. This is powerful media and important content at a time when the world wants to walk away and yet, we’re seeing young people coming together to make music in Maverick City for example, where it’s not about doctrinal differences and it’s just about Jesus and worshipping the King. Shalom
Love the Chosen need more like it glad you are getting people talking about their faith and is founded on something real within their soul and on the Rock of their Redeemer
Dallas, I personally do not care how much you talk, I actually appreciate your words!!!!! You and the crew are giving us the gift of a lifetime..and you are giving it to us free of charge. So as far as I'm concerned, talk away! I love learning about how you are making the greatest story ever told!
This show changed my life when I found it. I had been in darkness but I found this show and came back to church, got baptized and I'm so in love with my Father, I keep my eyes on Him always, from now on. Thank you Mr. And Mrs. Dallas Jenkins and all the crew and staff and contributors of this show !! From my heart 💓 I am Redeemed!! I hope The Chosen Family does read this.
Who was with who? - Who anointed Jesus? John 1:2 Jesus The word was in the beginning with God. Acts 10:38 about Jesus who was from Nazʹa·reth, how God ANOITED HIM with holy spirit and power, and he went through the land doing good and healing all those oppressed by the Devil, because God was with him. John 14:31 But for the world to know that I love the Father, I am doing just as the Father has commanded me to do. Get up, let us go from here. John 15:9 Just as the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; remain in my love.
Tomorrow is one year for my daughter. God bless you and her, and to all who are struggling today..... You can do this. Congrats Ryan I'm proud of you. 🙏💙👍
That's really awesome. You continue, to read scripture and seek God in prayer, you'll keep on being amazed, and full filled. Remember God loves you so very very much. Everyday He loves when you talk to Him, He just loves that. And He loves to talk with you.

I love when Simon confronts Matthew. It’s totally appropriate, just as Dallas pointed out. It would have been incredibly hard for them to be buddies with Matthew after all he had done. People seem to forget that the moment Jesus chose them that they didn’t instantly become perfect. They were still flawed humans and made mistakes. Think about when Jesus was about to be betrayed and he asked them to stay awake and be with him-they fell asleep. Paul had to call out Peter for being two faced about the whole “must be circumcised” issue. Until the moment they died I’m sure the disciples made mistakes. I love how The Chosen shows how these were REAL people. Not some perfectly crafted fictional characters, but real, flawed people like us. It shows how Jesus suffered, not just the cross, but in a human body. He got tired, experienced hunger, loneliness, anxiety, emotion and physical pain, anger. If Jesus experienced all that, why would Mary not have the usual childbirth pain and messiness? It says in the Bible that the conception was immaculate, not the birth.
I think maybe people struggle with Simon's harsh remarks because he reflects us individually in our own ugly moments. We all like to say, "the good, the bad, and the ugly". But when it comes to the "ugly", when we actually see it in front of us and we cringe, we are getting a glimpse of ourselves and don't like what we see. It's easy to forget that we, too, are sinners and have our own harsh moments. This scene, in my estimation, is raw and painfully honest, and I love that!! It reminds me that we all need to re-examine ourselves and repent when necessary. We want to serve Jesus with clean hearts. Thank you, Dallas, for taking the risks that you take, knowing some people will be offended. You are courageous as well as very talented! I know God is very pleased with you! May He abundantly bless you always!! 😊👍👏👏👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙏
Amen Kathie! We get uncomfortable when we see ourselves in someone else but don't want to admit it. No human is or ever will be "perfect" until the Lord returns. Till then we need to constantly be in the Word, be in Prayer and keep our eyes on Him!
As a mom of 5, four of whom are grown and out of the house, and the youngest is on the spectrum still living at home, season 2, episode 3 brought me to tears. No - make that sobbing. To hear Mary say that Jesus didn't need her anymore was so hard. It describes how I feel. I need to be needed. But my children are adults. The role has changed. Oh how hard it is. Then the arguing amongst the disciples reminded me of the reality amongst my grown children. Again - so sad. Thank you for writing in the part of Jesus needing the care from His mother. Of her desiring to still serve Him. I know your goal is make these historical people be real to the viewers. That episode was very real, to me at least. Thank you, Dallas, for all the time you and your crew take to explain, to show, and to make it real.
Hang in there mom. The transition of our children growing up and not needing us anymore is the hardest thing to adjust to. I only have one child but the transition is brutal and it still hurts from time to time. When something goes really really wrong in their lives though, they turn back to you temporarily.
Agreed! My kids are grown and I often feel they don't need me anymore. Mary then seeing Him in His exhaustion and going to help Him makes me cry a little even thinking of it.
@@lorenarodgers7545 To hear Jesus's words, "Thank you. I don't know what I'd do without you," brings me to tears as well. So thankful for men who can write the script in such a way that depicts reality for women, for moms, who just hope and pray they did it right with their children.
Jesus Never Calls Himself God The Bible (in spite of being changed and adulterated over time) contains many verses in which Jesus speaks of God as a separate person to himself. Here are just a few of them: When a man addressed Jesus as “Good Teacher”, he replied “Why do you call me good? No one is good except the one God.’’ [Mark 10:18] In another instance he says: “I can’t do anything by myself. Whatever I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just. I don’t seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.” [John 5:30] Jesus speaks of God as a separate being to himself: I’m going up to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. [John 20:17] In this verse he affirms that he was sent by God: This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. [John 17:3] If Jesus was God he would have told people to worship him, but he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him: And in vain they worship Me [Matthew 15:9] If Jesus claimed to be God than there should be hundreds of verses in the Bible which would have mentioned it. But there is not a single verse in the entire Bible in which Jesus says I am God, worship me
God Bless you, Robin Parker.. They will ALL remember YOU, their home, and they will ALL be back.. I know as I get older, I wake up all the time, with a remembrance of something that happened between me and my dear Mother, when I was a child, even some 50-60 years ago...
Mission accomplished! You manage to draw emotions out of me EVERY EPISODE! There has not been even one episode where I haven’t laughed and not one episode where I haven’t cried and there have been many where I’ve smiled through tears! You are an amazing storyteller! God bless you and everyone who has had a hand in the creation of this series!
Wow. We have no idea of what it takes to pull these scenes and episodes off. We just sit back, watch, listen and are so blessed. Thank you to every professional involved. And Dallas, your constant and unwavering commitment to this momumental project is the stuff of legend. We are so indebted. God bless you and your family for this sacrifice.
Dallas , please don't stop talking. I think it is really important to hear the perspective of the show runner and director. Your insight into each piece of this journey has strengthened my faith as well as your testimony
Agreed, it’s another “get used to different” that I love about the series. It makes me feel like I am truly part of the story. It’s an honor to be allowed inside. ❤️
I am a 73y/o Catholic. I also believe Mary suffered during labor and her delivery. I think the delivery was long and slow....as she was so young....but the birth was normal. I also see your portrayals of Matthew and Simon are spot on ! God bless you all...this is a beautiful episode.
Do you not believe that Mary was born free of original sin? Or that Jesus was immaculately conceived? How then can you not believe in a mystical, painless birth of Jesus? She is perpetually our Blessed Virgin Mary!! I recommend you read Anne Catherine Emmerich’s account of the vision she was given of Christ’s birth. Of course, as Catholics, are not required to believe in private revelations, but how much fuller my faith is because I do! There is much written by our early church fathers supporting this belief. St. Ambrose, St. Leo the Great, St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas to mention a few. This by no means is meant to be critical of Dallas Jenkins’ view of the birth of Jesus. I love everything he’s done with The Chosen. I have no complaint about the actress who portrays Mary or the scenes she’s in. She’s just not who I envision when I think of our Blessed Mother.
As I have said before I love ALL things 'The Chosen' hands down. And once again, that scene from when mother Mary says "he hasn't needed me since we taught him to walk and talk" struck a chord in my mother's heart. And when she was the Only one to get up to help Him cleanse Himself for bed....Oh how it tore right through me. I've many times tried to imagine what Mary went through watching what her son endured and this was THE perfect example of a mother's heart. You're depicting so perfectly the human side of the Lord we serve...and what better way to reach the masses!? Such beautiful beautiful ministry in All of it and in your work!! Seeing what you All have gone through to make every scene not only beautiful but meaningful and purposeful is truly spiritually manifested in everything portrayed. I'm so grateful for you and your works. I think that even the conflict between Mathew & Simon is completely Authentic!!! Because Jesus did not choose perfect Jews to be His disciples, He chose ...the flawed, the least expected, the 'Paul's' because how much greater could He have shown the true transformation His coming would bring!? Always praying for you and ALL involved because your fish & loaves continue to feed us Dallas!!! God Bless you brother ❤️
Same. When Simon first began his speech I became uncomfortable with his tone and I was wishing someone would stick up for Matthew, but then as he continued I realized that he’s actually very correct and as a Jew I can really relate with the sentiment.
I agree. Though I'm not Jewish, Matthew financially destroyed so many. The Apostles were not excluded from that agony. Matthew shows no remorse or acknowledgement of what he did and has not offered no apology. Yes, Jesus forgave all of the Apostles. But the Apostles are human. They are still hurting from Matthew's behavior as a tax collector and the massive effect that had on their lives. Matthew's clothing is a visual reminder of his wealth and their poverty. The Apostles, along with all of us, are not going to take something so painful throughout our lives and quickly say okay. Especially without some sense of acknowledgement from the person that hurt us. Andrew responds perfectly - Simon Peter is not wrong but could have said it better. When Simon seeks out Matthew to thank him for the fire wood and finds him writing down what Jesus said and did, Simon's response seems over the top. We have the vantage point of reading the Gospel of Matthew. Simon's response is directly related to Matthew following him around to keep a record everything he did. Natural, honest and human. Also like the contrast with Simon's actions. He could have easily shifted all of the blame for his actions onto Matthew. He accepted responsibility for his response. Plus he apologized to John and James even though he didn't go through with it.
This scene was so powerful. Simon has legitimate grievances with Matthew. But when the Savior walks by, weary and worn out from a day of serving those He created and loves, it puts things into perspective. Eternal perspective. The Chosen has blessed me again and again. Thank you.
When Jesus came walking past everyone, broke me. Realizing just how much he suffered for us, even before being the cross. I thought I was going to die. Amazing work.
That scene really showed his humanness, he felt the extreme exhaustion and pain of a very long and difficult day as we would feel it, and the comfort of his mother there to help, the gratitude of that, and then being able to just lay down and sleep.🙌😥🙌💞
In the bible when the woman touches the hem of hos robel, he says he felt power go out of him. I never thought of what a day of healing would have been like for him. He was very literally giving a part of himself to every single person.
@@sweetthistle8 I thought that was interesting too. I'm a "creator" of art and I understood how "creative power" goes out of a person. It's both exhilarating and exhaustive.
I totally agree. I also thought it was powerful mentoring from his mom. She did not need to be asked. She knew what Jesus needed, she just did it. In that act she taught the disciples and proved to herself she was still needed and appreciated.
This whole section was brilliantly done! Even the Son of God needed His momma 😭. It completely blows my mind how an almighty God, Creator of all, would willingly enter this world as a human being and go through everything that He did. He never once used His power for His own benefit.
Dallas, I don't know when you will really have "rest" (of course, after the completion of The Chosen) but God bless you for the tireless (says who) hours, weeks, months, and years of writing, directing, praying, and all of the things you do to bring the reality of scripture to the viewers. Born in 1932, I grew up in the Hollywood era and my view of a director was someone who sat by a big camera and yelled instructions to the actors. You have totally changed my view and I am constantly amazed at your "hands on" "in your face" molding and creating the episodes with extreme insight and delicate handling of professional actors. You never make them feel as if they aren't doing it right. They look to you with the respect you deserve as a teacher, coach, and someone who knows what is needed. The Chosen is just getting better with each episode. I can hardly wait until the next one, even in the last few minutes of the one I'm watching. Thank you so much for the example of praying when things seem impossible. Your pain is our gain. The great team that God has assembled for you is the extension of you, and my prayer for them is to reap the same kind of reward as you. That would make a great gift, to have someone make a video of the years of writing, casting, praying, filming, acting, editing, and the myriad of things involved in The Chosen, and making a copy for each of the people God has "Chosen" to be a part of the miracle you are experiencing. Well, I've taken up a lot of space here. God bless you, Dallas Jenkins. Love you and your family and all that are a part.
I literally burst into tears watching that end scene. So describes our current world. Everyone is screaming at everyone over seemingly important matters (to them anyway) and the whole time Jesus is right there. It was the “ugly cry” moment of the season.
This episode is, by far, my favorite so far. The end, when Jesus needed His Eema was just so beautiful, and well done. Great job, Jonathan. Awesome job, Dallas.
I want to thank you for that Simon scene and the Mary speech. Yes it is tough to watch this. But you’re helping all of us see this group of people as humans, like us... not some magical set of people who were holy right from the start and never did anything wrong. May Gods pour out His richest blessings upon you and everyone involved in this project!
Not "magical", but, miraculous. For Christ Jesus to be born of The Virgin Mary is a miracle. One of the first Miracles Our Lord Jesus performed in union with The Father and The Holy Spirit.

I've cried through every episode. The portrayal and humanity of all those who were actually there and really, really walked with Him touches my heart and sets my imagination soaring. I love our Blessed Mother. Her purpose is to lead us to her Son, that's all. Her mothers heart suffered at His pain. I’m a Script Supervisor in Los Angeles for TV/features and LOVE The Chosen. I am also Catholic, raised, went to Catholic school grades 6-12, sent my kids thru Catholic school K-12, and my grandmother was a product of a miracle performed by a venerated saint. I love that you bring the humanism to Jesus and the disciples vs just Jesus’s divinity. I working on The West Wing where we did a lot of “oners” and there is so much logics involved with extras and camera and focus and dialogue. The casting is amazing! Truly a fantastic show. I wish you shot in Los Angeles so I could be a part of it. All the best and thank you for creating a fantastic show that opens the conversation about our relationship with divinity ♥️
I was impressed by the length of the campfire scene shot, all in one take as we glided through three separate conversations. The sun literally went down and it got dark and they were still shooting. Very well done.
The ending of episode 3 was absolutely genius. After working on a couple of sets myself I totally see the stress of needing to get a scene done but I haven't ever seen anything close to the stress of that long shot. I love the work done on this episode, well done
Dallas is such the perfect guy for leading this whole project. He’s so personally and emotionally invested at every stage, even down to his relationship with the actors. Keeping the right heart and spirit of the project as well as maintaining creative excellence is such a fine line. God’s chosen man for sure.
so well said. its such an emotive production with such depth and biblical truth. I love watching the episodes over and sharing it with others who know the Lord and those who are searching. Great service and incredible cinematic production.
The way you ended this episode was so impactful. I felt like I was there with them. This show is changing my life, and is changing my view of the Bible itself. Keep bringing more episodes, we will be watching.
I absolutely LOVED episode 3. One of my favorite. Yes...the arguments towards the end was tense and uncomfortable.....but it was REAL LIFE. I'm so very sure that the new relationships between a bunch of grown men from very different personalities and walks of life came to a head through out their 3 years together. And mother Mary's reaction toward her son....priceless. Great work Dallas and team 😊
That last scene was incredibly POWERFUL to me! I remember watching “The Passion of Christ” in a theater and when it ended not one person said a word...we walked out in silence. The last scene of the 3rd episode impacted me in the same way. WELL DONE!
It was an interesting scene. I also noticed that when Jesus came back from healing a crowd, he was tired and he had blood on him. I'm not trying to be negative or anything. I'm just wondering why Jesus had blood on him.
@@heidibower2538 He was healing people, so I’d guess that some of them were not just internal damage like paralysis or blindness, that’s my 2 cents on it at least.
@@heidibower2538 There was probably more than one person with an open wound of some sort who needed Jesus' healing touches, ❤ laying on of hands ✋🙌. Hence the blood on His hands. A foreshadowing of His crucifixion wounds, I think. Mary Mother washed His hands and feet.
Love, love, love that Dallas gives us the artistic reasons for scenes. The emotional and spiritual residue of The Chosen stays with me for days. I'm a huge fan and thank you.
LOVED the scene where Simon expresses his anger, and more than just anger - he is hurt. Genuinely hurt that Matthews betrayal backed him into the kind of corner that he (simon) was about to similarly become a betrayer of his people. Extraordinary writing and acting!
So glad you were suddenly inspired to include Mary in the end sceen. One of the most beautiful beautiful gestures from this actor was her ever so subtle hesitancy....should I go to him? He hasn't needed me since he could walk and talk...her words still hung in the smoke of the fire. I whispered "go" as she ran to him. As any woman would to her injured child. So good.
Truly, it was a moment of the Holy Spirit’s inspiration to Dallas, and I don’t say such things flippantly. That moment, especially after highlighting the disciples’ lingering pettiness, Absolutely drives home Jesus’ unspoken perspective in this episode!
This episode hit me harder than any other. I saw no issue with the interaction between Simon and Matthew. I understood where Simon was coming from. The only thing quieter than the closing of the show was our home when the final scene ended. Thank you Dallas and The Chosen crew for providing this teaching and witnessing tool to the world. You aren't doing this by some random chance, God is behind it.
I LOVED every episode so far and I cried in EVERY episode omg 😭 The Chosen is THE BEST!!!!!!! YOU guys chose the BEST characters ever for each part ESPECIALLY Jesus, I feel a strong connection with that character of Jesus. The end of episode 3 on season 2 with Jesus.. THAT was so heartfelt...my heart melted for Jesus, it was an amazing episode!!! You have a gift Dallas a real true gift and an amazing crew. The series is amazing and it feels so real like we are actually there because it gets in our hearts. I've cried the entire two seasons it gets me right in the heart. Love love love the series and I cannot wait for many more seasons to come!!!!! Bless you all 🙏😍😁😭✝️
One of the many things I appreciate about "The Chosen" is how Jesus does not interfere in the disciples' conversations with criticism, was not always critiquing, judging, correcting the disciples. He loved them the way they were and knew when and what to say to reach their consciences and their hearts. I want to learn from Jesus' example. The scene where Peter calls Matthew out, so to speak, seems like something that very likely would have happened. It is enlightening to see the disciples with their various personalities, weaknesses, and strengths learn together and support one another more and more as time goes on. This series has made the gospels come alive to me. Thank you!
I love that you don't back away from the hard things. I definitely think that is why this project is so blessed. As a mother who has children who are transitioning from childhood to adulthood that moment of Mary being "needed" by Jesus is so impactful.
I agree. Life is life and we’re all trying to figure it out..just like they did back then. It’s hard as a mom being the one your child needs to survive only to then realize that we’re the one’s who teach them how to someday live without us..love how Mary is no different than the rest of us mom’s. When I get to heaven, I’d LOVE to hear all the stories of Jesus as a kid.
I watched this episode twice and to me it isperfect. The dialogues are beautifully written and played and the atmosphere is phantastic. THANK YOU DALLAS
You’ve made this same criticism numerous times without citing any scene or lines that support your claim. Back up you claim or you have no credibility.
I keep thinking every episode is so wonderful; I don't think it can get any better. Every episode is unique. Season 2 Episode 3 probably was the most impactful for me in the scene where the disciples are arguing and then Jesus walks by and oh my goodness. It flew in my face, "what am I about?" Am I really following Jesus? Here He is spending His day and now exhausted, healing, forgiving, comforting, helping. Where am I spending my day? Am I complaining, resenting, talking about basically unimportant things and then throwing a little bit of Jesus in somewhere? This was a good reminder. Thank you, Jesus for compassionately keeping me in check; even with a movie about You.
The cameraman literally beared his cross in this one ✝️ well done. Everybody has his or her part - never too small that God wouldn’t notice. His blessing is our reward and it’s priceless 💖✝️🙏 Thank you God for your mercy and love ❤️
The ending of episode 3 was so convicting! I have personally spent way too much time arguing and fighting over wearing facemasks and getting Covid immunizations… There is a greater battle that we need to be fighting. While we are all fighting about these things that are really unimportant, Jesus is out there working really hard. Not one person has been drawn closer to God by my arguing! Thank you Dallas for this monumental reminder!

It wrecked me! I couldn’t stop crying! I felt I was there and was so ashamed of times I’ve complained or whined about my circumstances! Very humbling scene!😥💔
But there is not a single verse in the entire Bible in which Jesus says I am God, worship me
Hello @@azeemahmad5918, I don't know your heart nor do I wish to have a heated debate with you on this matter concerning the divinity of Jesus. Strong arguments can be made for both sides. However, if you're truly interested in knowing why many Christians, including me, believe that Jesus is God, I'd be happy to share my reason(s) with you.
@@azeemahmad5918 You typical Muslims like to cut and paste. Can you be original for once? I bet you never read the Bible particularly the New testament in its entirety. The account of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels during the 1st century were written by eyewitnesses and followers of Jesus who walked and talked with him. The 6th century Isa (counterfeit Jesus) in your Quran on the other hand was a character that Muhammad copied from 4th century heretical gnostic gospels. Such as the Syriac infancy gnostic gospel and the gnostic gospel of Thomas. The story in the Quran of Isa creating a living bird out of clay, and the story of Isa speaking from the cradle as a baby we're all copied by Mohammed from these 4th century heratical gnostic gospels. There's a reason why Christians never included this heretical writings in our Bibles. Its because they were written over 400 years after Jesus by people who were never eyewitnesses let alone from the same region just like your fake prophet Muhammad who was 7th century too late. Which do you think is more logical to believe in? The Bible account regarding the life of Jesus in the Bible written by eyewitnesses during the first century? or Do you think We should believe the account regarding Isa in the Quran written over 7 centuries later by someone who never met Jesus let alone from the same region? The 7th century medieval Isa (fake Jesus) in your Quran has NO historical evidence of his existence, just like the non-existent signs to prove that Mohammed was a prophet but a con-artist, a sex addict and a pedophile.
@@jnorvil If Jesus was GOD, then why Mark 15:34 says "And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"- which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 20:17 Jesus said "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' " If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 8:28 Jesus said "I do nothing of myself" Can't GOD do anything he wills? If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 14:28 Jesus said "My Father (GOD) is greater than I"? Something I’ve learned about the Bible is that I don’t want my ears to be tickled. And no one should either. We have hard times in this world. I’m blessed to see all of the emotions. Watching The Chosen has really opened me up. Thank you. ❤️
I thought you all did a marvelous job! I was so glad to witness Mary ministering to her son's needs. It was perfect that as a mother we are always needed and we know our children needs without communication. Perfect!
Exactly what I thought at that point when Jesus just walks past too exhausted that the disciples felt shamed bickering at each other while the Lord has been caring and healing for others. Beautifully ended!
@@adyakumar3569 it's more of physical exhaustion, showing that Jesus indeed became man to even experience physical exhaustion. This scene shows His humanity 🙏

What stood out for me was the thoroughly natural (and human) way that Jesus politely (and good naturedly) acknowledges the group, but is just too exhausted to do anything else. Haven't we all been there before physically and mentally (though for lesser reasons)?
episode 3 was so heavyy, from the conversations of the disciples, to their small argument and to seeing Jesus so tired and exhausted man that one oof. My sister and I keep pointing out how amazing that you did it in one shot, it really let us feel the emotions and ambience of the episode. Like we were part of them and that we are in that very moment. Favorite episode so farr (。・ω・。)ノ♡ PRAISE GOD FOR ALL THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CHOSEN!! GOD BLESS YOU!

What a blessing this entire show is. The more I watch this, the more I understand the privilege of being chosen, even though it is hard, the Son endured more as human kind and I could not ask for more with all the intentional scenes specially in this episode. Thank you again for this beautiful job
That scene was supposed to be difficult to watch. The truth is hard to swallow but needs to be said. A lot of people just want the truth watered down to spare their feelings and that just can't happen.
@@56pjr Why are you here? There has been nothing blasphemous about this, I'm watching, BELIEVE ME, that it Not go that way.. This wonderful show is bringing people to, or closer to The Lord, our Savior. It's the last clarion call... The Lord is returning SOON AND VERY SOON. He wants NONE to perish! Ask The Father! And stop with these messages... if you truly believe this, then it's time for you to wipe the dust from your feet and move on. Peace and Grace - and Devine decernment to you 💗✝️🕊🕎✌
The end of scene in episode 3 season 2 probably made the reality of Jesus life to me the most real and how his mother took care of him because Jesus our Lord needed that love and compassion of his mother- I sobbed so much because of how it touched this mother’s heart and made me truly see how much Jesus gave to us on so many levels.
As mothers, we all go through that feeling of no longer being needed as our kids grow. The end of this difficult episode was beautiful and heartbreaking and uplifting all at once.
At first I really disliked the end conversation with the disciples. But this whole show has been reminding me they are just humans learning from Chist just like I am. It's good they have weaknesses, it brings hope for my life.
The most powerful moment.... for me in part 3.... is everyone arguing with each other... pointing fingers.... and Jesus walks up after spending all day healing... loving on everyone...giving 100% of Himself to others, utterly exhausted.... all the while everyone else was fussing and complaining... it just really hit me hard. Isn't that so true? How we all fall short of being Christ like because we spend time pointing out each others faults... when we should be about kingdom business? I wrote this before Dallas speaks about it in the video. ;-)
Y’all already broke me down when Jesus had finished for the day, all went silent, and we could see his exhaustion. That silence was so powerful as if you could feel the shame of the arguing disciples for losing sight of why they were there. Heck, I felt convicted for getting lost in the entertainment of it all! 🤣 I must’ve watched that episode at least 4 times after it ended, easily one of the best.
So far the end of this episode was the most touching to me, it was a reminder that Jesus was as a human and would have experienced exhaustion too. Love the silence and Mother Mary and though Jesus was so exhausted He still prayed.
I ❤loved this episode. One of my favorites and exactly because of the heated discussion by the fire juxtaposed with Jesus humbly walking by to his tent. He is clearly spent after being about His Father’s business all day. It was such a rebuke to the discples’ focus on wrongs endured, humanly justified or not. This was jut so beautifully done! I wept. There is a learning curve for the disciples, and it’s been helpful to be reminded of that! We are all working out our salvation and must let the Christ work in us to wash us clean. Not always easy, but necessary. Thank you for this. I love hearing about how you all are praying your way forward. The spiritual substance of this production is palpable, and I am often brought to tears with the depth of it (healing the leper, Nicodemus, healing at the pool of Bethesda, the woman with the issue of blood). I just watched the series again and see this as something I’ll watch again and again. I do love reading the Bible, but your series makes me love it even more! With a heart full of gratitude! ❤❤❤
1 i don’t mind listening to Dallas explain things. It’s just great to learn of all the work that has gone on into making these scenes so great. Keep going . 2 As the scene with Peter n Matthew, I understand it. I tried to explained it to a friend that thought he was being too rough on Matthew. Glad I wasn’t to far off lol!
So many heart rending episodes. This one was for me, the most... I need the scabs of politics, social media, selfishness, and worldly cares ripped off from time to time.
The acting was exceptional, speaking of everyone, in this episode. I was convinced Jonathan did something physical prior to his scene to appear absolutely exhausted. In an interview he says not, he just imagined what the Lord’s day might have entailed.
Thank you Dallas for explaining behind the scenes and the thoughts that went into the production. The crew is so dedicated to this. All the actors are fabulous.‘I pray that each of them continue to use their gifts and have a personal relationship with Jesus!
"The Chosen" is incredibly wonderful. When Nicodemus agonized about not joining Jesus and the disciples, I felt his pain! So sad! So many heart-wrenching episodes as well as laughing and tender moments. Looking forward to Season 3.
Lift up my hat to you guys for not playing the music at the end. It was such a surreal moment. I need that moment of silence to take it all in. Great job
What to say? The cast and crew brings to me, a viewer, the humanity of people who have only been names in a very large drama but still one somewhat removed. Everyone is SO talented. Thank you.
I noticed the sun going down in one shot and how there wasn’t a break in the camera shot the first time I saw this episode before I ever saw this video. When I saw that scene in the episode I was just like wow that must have taken so much work and time to get that right and for all the actors to remember all those lines without messing up too badly but now I know how much harder it was than I realized. The sunset in the background is absolutely gorgeous and I honestly thought it was planned that way by the production meet but now I know it was actually planned by God. This show is impacting so many lives and I pray for the cast and crew all the time for safety and for things to go well. God has a plan for this show❤️ Thank you for following God’s guidance in this ❤️
The Chosen: i’ve really enjoyed what I’ve seen of your series so far. You do a lot of things that no one else has done yet; you take time and think about things. For example, as a person raised in an old fishing culture, I think “ why would Simon fish all night?”, knowing that fishers get up very early in the morning and go out on the water so that they can start fishing soon as the sun starts to rise. That’s really not the same as fishing all night long. That wasn’t lost on you, and the unfolding of your thought process to find that answer is very intuitive, based on the good and plausible answers that you’ve come up with. I thought your treatment of Nicodemus was particularly beautiful and thoughtful. So often, he’s portrayed as somebody who may not be dealing in good faith. You gave him the benefit of the doubt, and a very compassionate, human treatment. You developed his character very naturally and well; I liked him very much, with his maturity and kind intellect, not only in his application of the Law, but in his emotional intelligence. My heart fairly broke for him, and I was left wondering if the rest of his life’s efforts would be spent toiling under the burden of heartbroken regret. What an intelligent and inspired use of a time when others are at a loss, and the Old Jerusalem set might otherwise lie vacant. May you long bring your loaves and fishes!
That scene when Simon is confronting Matthew and everyone is giving their opinions and you could feel the tension as they let off steam, THEN Jesus silently walks by....was soooo powerful!! The LOOK on the faces of everyone was all that sealed the moment. We knew exactly how they felt and they were brought to their knees in humility. Mary without a word, devotedly gets up to serve her Lord; who is her son. And that was the" icing on the cake"....The disciples knew....and I'm sure realized..."What are we doing?" .....Weakness brought to light! Wonderful Dallas!!
Dallas, this episode is one of the most moving, well done episodes of any movie I've seen. I was literally weeping uncontrollably by the end. Well done .
This episode is quite possibly my favorite! The reason is because of the end. I absolutely love how human you made Christ! It has never occurred to me that after healing people would be tired. Mother Mary’s reaction to her son’s pain and exhaustion was simply beautiful! It brought me to tears,
I really appreciated the dialogue between Simon, Andrew and Matthew. As someone who has gone through deep betrayal, I could really relate to the thoughts and emotions being expressed. It takes time to process betrayal and come to a place of true forgiveness. I am looking forward to seeing how they resolve this. I don't know, but maybe this will make Simon's denial of Jesus as a form of betrayal that much more heartbreaking for him and us.
@Pushing60 I am very aware he's portrayed as being on the spectrum, and I'm not saying anything against him. I'm just saying I can relate to Simon and Andrew's response. Matthew's response was perfect for his character. I love Matthew's character! A betrayal is a betrayal for the person who experienced it regardless of how well meaning the other person may have been. If you feel you've been wronged, you want it to be made right by the other person (which doesn't always happen in real life). Sometimes it takes time and patience for the other person to understand how they affected you through conversations and outbursts of anger or frustration, like this. Matthew doesn't seem to realize the affect he had on them yet, as his reasons for being a tax collector, as portrayed in the show, seem to be more practical (they're going to collect taxes anyways). Yes, he left it all to follow Jesus. Maybe as he better understands the affect he had on others, his repentance will deepen. I'm looking forward to seeing how they work this through and what Matthew comes to understand more about his past life and the affect it had on others, even as someone on the spectrum.
@Pushing60 There was no such characterization as on the spectrum back then. The Apostles (and everyone else, including Matthew's parents) had no knowledge or understanding of the reason for Matthew's behavior or quirks. Matthew would be viewed the same as others. Since he wasn't able to relate to or understand others, they were all challenged. Easiest thing to do was avoid it.
The scene where Jesus walks past everyone after healing all day, to the end with no talking or music, was for me the most powerful so far. In those moments I felt the weight of my sin but also love for my Saviour.
I cried because he was giving so much
I don't know if I'm going to be able to watch the Crucifixion. You do it do well I'll watch with a whole box of tissues
Love you all and God is everywhere. Carlene Barber
mine too..i weeped..andjust wanted to hug him
The actors portrayed how small, how petty, how loveless, we can all be even with Him living inside of each one of us. His love 💘 should break our hearts 💕 so completely that we become the reflection of that love to everyone else, saved and insaved alike.
The depth of His Love - that He IS Love - humbles.
I agree SO MOVING ! Wow
Not gonna lie, I lost it when Jesus walked by, utterly exhausted and Mother Mary being a mother. Well done!
YES!! It was sooo powerful! I think ep 3 was the best hands down, we dont need it to be like the game of thrones...just the gospel.
Same!
Priceless
Cancel this series. It is blasphemous
Beautiful comment thank you
The Holy Scriptures are FULL of the the disciples thought they were superior..
REMEMBER, the prince of this world HATES this.....God bless you all
Well said. I have preached about this episode more than any other.
True
Genius
I really liked Phillip's friendship with Matthew. Phillip was the bridge for communication for Matthew.
@Jackie King I really like that as well. We all need friends to help us.
In the show Phillip is my favorite disciple
as someone with autism, we all need that one friend who comes along side of us and understands that we dont get it, but that we dont mean to be rude (most of the time) who can by example and whatever else, bring attention to the things we just cant see on our own. its the vital support and walking WITH us that helps change outcomes and lives
Yeah i like their friendship :)
I agree with you.
The ending scene of Jesus walking to the tent, the group standing in awe after all the arguing, Mary washing His feet was by far the most impactful scene, it took my breath away, I sobbed in awe of the sacrifice, love and commitment of our Savior….left me in awe for days!! 🙌🏻
Man it got my whole family crying when we watched it… it’s so hard yet breathtaking to watch. He is so powerful.
Imagine how horrible they felt when He walked by them. You know He heard every word they were complaining about to each other.
I totally agree with you but I don't know if anyone caught this, but mother Mary had just finished saying that she supposed that he didn't need her anymore. Jesus knew exactly what she said. it broke my heart. as she was helping him washing his feet, and cleaning him up. when he said to her, I don't know what I would do without you.💔
He needed his mama 😭
❤️ thank you
I love this. I agree 🥰
She felt she wasn't needed anymore, but she didn't know that Jesus needed her even more - her presence, her tender care, her love.
late as usual, but I agree @1fortony
I loved this scene
Yes absolutely beautiful. I was moved to tears.
May God bless your family and your life
Me too
Same. My boys are in their 30s and 40s... but I believe they know that I am mom and they are free to come to me in anything. ♥
As a Catholic I believe in the True God True Man so of course true birth was necessary pain mess and relief! Thank you!
Thank you.

@@InHisSservice I will, you can depend on it.
Throughout that scene , I thought of my 19 yr old son & how he for the most part does not need me, but there may be a day where I can serve him again

Hi there,
Um... do you know what they're referring to???
How does wanting to fund this (something I want too) mean that you don't have a relationship with God or our Savior and redeemer?
I felt like their comments were a wee tad judgemental or presumptive, and that they were assuming that wanting to "Binge Jesus" and wanting to fund the whole thing means you haven't found Jesus and already & don't have him in your heart??? 🤔
How are those two things mutually exclusive?
Maybe you can enlighten my perspective? Idk.
Agree
Yes!!
Jesus didn't go to His mama, He was too exhausted, but she went to Him as only a mother would who loves her Son.
Absolutely beautiful, and mom was right drawn by her motherly instincts.
@@teriboyd7846 I know she went to him but he accepted that from her. That’s what I meant
POWERFUL
What Simon said is what makes the show more realistic than any other Jesus movie I have ever seen. U did a great job Dallas. Everybody did.
Amen. Show us their humanity.

That scene is a deep teaching of the life or the word Christ ❤️🙏✝️.

That is very well spoken! Thank you for putting into words that I could not! 💖
❤
Agreed 👍❤️.

As a mom of 5, four of whom are grown and out of the house,
and the youngest is on the spectrum still living at home, season 2, episode 3 brought me to tears.
Jesus Never Calls Himself God
The Bible (in spite of being changed and adulterated over time) contains many verses in which Jesus speaks of God as a separate person to himself. Here are just a few of them:
When a man addressed Jesus as “Good Teacher”, he replied “Why do you call me good? No one is good except the one God.’’ [Mark 10:18]
In another instance he says: “I can’t do anything by myself. Whatever I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just. I don’t seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.” [John 5:30]
Jesus speaks of God as a separate being to himself: I’m going up to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. [John 20:17]
In this verse he affirms that he was sent by God: This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. [John 17:3]
If Jesus was God he would have told people to worship him, but he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him: And in vain they worship Me [Matthew 15:9]
If Jesus claimed to be God than there should be hundreds of verses in the Bible which would have mentioned it.

Well, we know it takes a lot of imagination and very little attention to what is actually in the Bible.
So beautiful and inspired words.. Thank you, Hiccups N GigGleS..
As a Jew, Simon’s speech really resonated with me, and the fact that it was even in the show just means so much. This show is such a blessing!
❤️❤️ Jesus is soo good
I‘m so glad I read your comment. ❤️🙌
@@nancy0831 Wow well said👍❤
This scene was so powerful. Simon has legitimate grievances with Matthew. But when the Savior walks by, weary and worn out from a day of serving those He created and loves, it puts things into perspective. Eternal perspective. The Chosen has blessed me again and again. Thank you.
Yes he did. I think people want Simon to back off as he is loved by viewers. I think this is because Chosen has portrayed him with autism.
Well put.
When Jesus came walking past everyone, broke me. Realizing just how much he suffered for us, even before being the cross. I thought I was going to die. Amazing work.
That scene really showed his humanness, he felt the extreme exhaustion and pain of a very long and difficult day as we would feel it, and the comfort of his mother there to help, the gratitude of that, and then being able to just lay down and sleep.🙌😥🙌💞
it was totally unexpected and wonderfully realistic. I loved that his Mom ministered to Him. Except for the washcloth sequence... lol.
I thought everything about this episode was brilliant. When it came to end I was completely undone, speechless just as intended.
I completely agree!!! So powerful and moving.
Agreed.
This whole section was brilliantly done! Even the Son of God needed His momma 😭. It completely blows my mind how an almighty God, Creator of all, would willingly enter this world as a human being and go through everything that He did. He never once used His power for His own benefit.
Simon (the script) is just stating the human reaction and emotion. Simon/Peter is the most human, it's why I/we identity with him.
The scene with Mary was incredibly moving and powerful. Thank you to everyone at the Chosen. ❤️
Breathtaking. Completely! And I loved that no matter how spent He was he still prayed thanksgiving for sleep! It spurred on a habit. Perfect.
I cried almost non stop during the campfire talking scene. It was Beyond moving. Never seen anything like this.
Arguments are real life.

When Jesus walked by I got so emotional. I love love this show.

Cancel this series. It is blasphemous
You’ve made this same criticism numerous times without citing any scene or lines that support your claim. Back up you claim or you have no credibility.
Adding to God's word is forbidden. A sinful, Catholic loving man dares to play the King of the universe. How absurd.
I think you must bè a person who listens to God inside to understand this. Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks for sharing that with us. You are so right. We fight about some dumb stuff. I do, anyway. It’s not drawing unbelievers to me.
I felt the same way!! He is still there with all of us, that’s exactly what I was thinking too!!
What you said so applies to me, Shellea. Thanks. I need to make a reassessment of my own priorities, again.
Shella Van Winkle -- And when He left, He said what ? Feed My Sheep, Feed My Lambs, Feed My Sheep -
And when WE do this, we are Blessed, the ones we serve are Blessed because we served them, and the Savior Blesses us for doing what He asked us to..
This alone, will help take away all our struggles, pain, confusion, and more..
And as WE continue to draw near unto Him, He will draw nearer unto us...
God Bless you, Shellea Van Winkle !

I absolutely love how Dallas broke it down as far as the dialogue with Simon and Matthew. This was key.
Hey you were an extra a couple of weeks ago at Season 5. I was too!

But there is not a single verse in the entire Bible in which Jesus says I am God, worship me
Hello @@azeemahmad5918,
I don't know your heart nor do I wish to have a heated debate with you on this matter concerning the divinity of Jesus. Strong arguments can be made for both sides. However, if you're truly interested in knowing why many Christians, including me, believe that Jesus is God, I'd be happy to share my reason(s) with you.
@@azeemahmad5918
You typical Muslims like to cut and paste.

I was surprised when Jesus just walked by and said only "goodnight". Well played, well written.
episode 3 was so heavyy, from the conversations of the disciples, to their small argument and to seeing Jesus so tired and exhausted man that one oof. My sister and I keep pointing out how amazing that you did it in one shot, it really let us feel the emotions and ambience of the episode. Like we were part of them and that we are in that very moment.

Have you ever read Twelve Ordinary Men? Its an older book. Thats what they were, but not what they became.
I wrote this before Dallas speaks about it in the video. ;-)
@Luna Amen!
Dallas Jenkins I noticed that you are very intelligent, hardworking, compassionate and understanding
Towards your JESUS team. Amen.
Yes!!
Truly agree. I have been watching it almost everyday since. I am addicted to all of their stories..
So far the end of this episode was the most touching to me, it was a reminder that Jesus was as a human and would have experienced exhaustion too. Love the silence and Mother Mary and though Jesus was so exhausted He still prayed.
💗
Dallas I love all the extra commentary with you explaining everything goes into making this incredible show!
Well said. I dare say we all need that, my friend.
That ending wrecked me. The silence was perfect. Thank you for all your intentionality of these scenes. Wow. Just wow.
Great job
Yes!
God has a plan for this show❤️ Thank you for following God’s guidance in this ❤️
This was my favorite episode so far. Everything about it was perfect, in my opinion.
I say that every single.episode
Same. Atm: S2, Ep4. Hehe 😽😂😹
Learning what happens behind the scene really helps me to appreciate this masterpiece.
I loved episode 3, and I cried when Jesus walked past them tired and just said goodnight. I sobbed. God bless you, the show is fantastic!
Me too.
The thought and prayer that goes into this show is inspiring and so incredibly appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
It brought me to tears,
Most incredible ONE-SHOT I’ve ever seen. EVER!
Wow, what a great point.
Agree 💯 I felt the same
Ditto 👍
@Pushing60
There was no such characterization as on the spectrum back then.
