@@Noblesse_Sapphire well, the lady was a made up interdimensional god and made up gods don't usually show respect to anyone that does work for them in any games with gods using worshippers or some sort of random human they tricked into working for them, they usually focus on their own greed and personal gain. So don't be surprised this god acted the same way.

I noticed a bit of text on the bad end screen here 9:03 that I feel gives a little insight on the mystery within the game:
"now you're able to see your own insignificance in the world but isn't it so comforting to know that someone else has always and will always be in control of all the choices you have made and ever will make forever and there is no free will free [idk] if you truly want to break free you [idk] accept who the true ruler of the world is and submit to him fully before it is too late for you to do so and you drown in the many answers and you wish you could live in ignorant bliss but to be powerful is to know all the truths of the world so embrace what you are seeing and accept that this is [idk] new reality if you do not wish to surrender your power to him the one and only ruler [text got cut off here]"

i think the answer is the player.
She mentions that people put worlds in a computer and says why can't a god put a cheat code into the universe. Obviously foreshadowing that she is in fact in a world inside a computer. This whole thing she was doing was supposed to show her the truth of her existence, that she's in a video game.
The answer is behind the character, you. watching them from behind, never being able to see you, with their heads stuck in the direction you make them look, for once the character could turn and take a glimpse of you.
Who knows how much the curtain hides, how many worlds are built inside of others. But that begs the question, with theories of our world being a simulation...
    Is the answer behind you?

So for anyone curious about the answer to 8:32, it's actually the one that Manly discounted. The first one establishes a pattern. No line in the top left or bottom right. Then middle line half receeds and is replaced with a line in the top left. Almost like time is progressing/regressing or it's being snapped off to provide. Then the line fully receeds with a line in the bottom right. Once you notice this pattern, you can solve the rest. As it's the same thing, but without the dots.

I kinda think Manly had it right first time. It's us. The Truth is Behind you. Not just as I physically, since the character said "Im seeing myself" while looking at us, but also behind you as in "Behind your actions". They "put the earth in a computer" line gave it away a little, as that's often used as a "If we can digitise the world, what's the say we aren't digital ourselves" mentality you see a lot of conspiracy theorists use as a self fulfilling proof. Perhaps the concept is that pattern recognition is the key to finding whatever creature put us here. They purposefully made special patterns in the universe (things like mathematical constants, celestial orbits, etc) that if examined with a pattern seeking eye would lead the people to the diety.

When we look at the images we know there should be a curve at all 4 sides, we just arent sure what, but luckily the answers are easy to tell apart and know which one is a mistake
For the 3rd one, the theme is "break a line and relocate it", so in the 2nd image, it broke the left leg and placed it at the bottom right.

@@marcinkonik6865 For the one at 6:45 the second column shows "folded" extra pieces attached to the symbols in the first column and you have to pick how that shape would look "unfolded" in the third column.
For the one at 8:20, it's simply one line (or part of a line) moving to a different place each step. The exact length that the line ends up in isn't necessarily the same, though, and seems to be based on it's place in the "grid" instead of actual length. Thus, vertical and horizontal line parts tend to be shorter than diagonal ones.

Answers, since I don’t see them in the top comments at least.
1 - Stack the shapes, simple ‘nuff.
2 - The dot goes from top-left to bottom-right, nothing else changes.
3 - The second piece is “subtracted” from the first. If already missing, it fills in instead (row 2)
4 - Diagonals from the second are subtracted from the first.
5 - The top half is flipped upside-down in the second column, then the bottom half is flipped upside-down in the third column.
    6 - Same as 3
7 - Same as 3, but the central line the triangle are on stays in place.
8 - I think the second column is meaningless. Add a half-circle to the top and bottom of the first one and remove the top/bottom line. Answer would be the middle choice then.
9 - A fun one. Second column the top-right to the top-left, then bends it 45 degrees toward the top. The third column takes that, then flips the bottom-left to the bottom-right and bends it 45 degrees toward the bottom. Correct answer is the stylin’ Z up top.
10 - Add the dots from 1 and 2 in “stages”. Two half-dots make a whole dot, two whole dots it instead. Correct answer is the middle one.
11 - Like 2. The bottom line moves from bottom to top.
12 - The second column indicates you should increase or decrease the size of the first one.
    13 - Same as 3.
Funny how we had lucky number 13 for our number of questions.

    • @DeathnoteBB
      @DeathnoteBB หลายเดือนก่อน

      8. The second column isn’t meaningless, the top and bottom lines get pulled in then pulled out. That’s why the last row’s second column looks weird. Only the top and bottom lines got adjusted, making it look like an entirely different shape
      10. I think it’s just how many dots total, nothing to do with it being half or whole. First row has 5, then second row has 6, and the middle answer makes 7 in the last row

Some neat logic puzzles to decode this language. As for the ending and what the title means, I do agree with Manly's initial theory. I believe the person playing the game is the unknowable god in the first place. We are what's behind the player character, and we are unknowable to them because our existence tells him his whole reality is fiction.

"She learned the truth of her existence"
    The player is the truth.
Essentially, they are puppets of some iteration, i.e charaters in a game or thinking they are making their own choices when they are not etc, etc.
Their existence is based on the whims of a greater being of some kind.
It's in the same realm of 'your existence is just the dreams of another being' shtick.

8:35 If I’m right that “not consistent” one actually was the answer. You’re meant to look at each row as it’s own thing to clock the rules for the last row’s last box. On this puzzle the rule isn’t that there’s some dots and an X, that’s a red herring. The actual rule is the diagonal bar / is split up as the sequence goes on. The top half goes to the top left and the bottom half goes to the bottom right. Following that rule the top answer is correct
The next puzzle had the middle answer right because the rule was each row’s dot count grows in number. First row is 5, then 6, so the last has to make 7.

My theory (could be super far off tho) is that Dr. Wells figured out they are living in a simulation and this ancient text will give them the power to regain autonomy from player characters. The player being in control behind them like a puppet master is the answer to the secret of their universe. The only thing left is who will die when control is returned to the npc, the original character or the player who inhabits their body

8:40 you chose the middle, it was the top, any one of the 2nd boxes shows a horizontal line appearing on the top left with the top half of the angled line disappearing...
The 3rd box shows a horizontal line appearing at the bottom right and the other half of the angled line disappearing...
Apply that pattern to the 3rd puzzle and you'll see the answer was the top option 😉
