Lure Fishing Cornwall - Lovely Pollock And Mackerel

In this video I visit a local rock mark Lure fishing Cornwall
The weather has been great for the last week and rain is coming so I visit this mark while I can.
The fish are around and I catch an ok pollock I struggle to get it in but finally manage it and am delighted with the result

Hi, love watching your videos. Definitely put a hook on the back eye. Don't rely on just the assist hooks. That's why you're getting all the missed bites. There grabbing the lure from behind and there's nothing to hook them. Tight lines..

@@DarrenFea cheers bro and thanks again for the tip I avoid putting treble on bottom. As it's pretty rough ground there however I fish so much getting a pretty good idea of where to be careful and how many counts to bottom etc so I may just try that tight lines bro 👍👍👍🤔

@@DarrenFea I was watching fish locker fish for pollock other day and he said fish real. Light drag as if they lightly hooked they tear hooks out on the dive so also going to do that every day is a school day eh 👌👌

Hi, I just use single hooks now. I've swapped out all lures and metals from trebles to single. All good, thanks single on the back will definitely help the dropped bites. And yes every day is a school day. Because the next mackerel I catch, I'll be having it with scrambled eggs... Cheers

Hi mate I bought the spike on Ali express it came unsharpened but I remedied that with a hook sharpening file 😂 Swiss pillar cut 4
I have also bout some wire from ebay stainless 314 but it's to floppy so I'm still working on that cheers for watching mate 🍻
