Plenty of dogs, have you ever eaten them? I quite fancy trying it myself but i never fish with bait so dont catch them.

The skimming of it however was like a horror film the bloody things don't die lol I cut it's head off gutted it the lot and wriggled all the way to the plate lol 😂

Dogfish is BEAUTIFUL, thick, creamy and zero bones, other than the spine, of course.
Used to get it in chippies back in the day, called rock, rock salmon or flake.
The trick to skinning the beasts is dropping them in boiling water for 1 min before pealing the skin. Well worth the effort, though.

Yes pretty easy to catch on the North coast in June. But a nightmare to get the delicious meat out

yeah was loads of em and the picking is worth the effort for that delicious meat lol it did take me and the Mrs aaaagges to pick em though lol
