People have to be offended for them…. That’s society today. They were happy to get the surgeries, let them be happy and stop being offended for others.
I just watched a documentary on this. There is a lot more to this. some of the women were in agony, and had complications from the surgeries years later that cost thousands.
This show was absolutely disgusting. Praying on women’s insecurities and putting out the message that you need to alter your body to conform to an ideal of beauty.
They signed up for this because they wanted to feel better about themselves, there’s nothing wrong with that. People get Botox, breast enhancement, diet etc… all to look better and feel better about themselves. These contestants have no regrets, they’re happy. We don’t have to be offended for them.
I use to love that show. It’s crazy because at the time I was a teenager and didn’t view anything they said or did as wrong or offensive. It’s crazy to look back and think this was okay.
