Nice set up. I'm also running the fleece power flo in tank pump. I'm getting ready to invest in injectors and I thought better filters would be in order.

Great video, I'm gonna install mine tomorrow on my Dodge. I'm just gonna keep the OEM filter and change all three same time. After going threw a 2 micron filter than the OEM filter it should last as long as the cat filter. I use stanadyne Every Time I add fuel.

Curious how your system is holding up. Thinking about doing this to my truck however I’m worried that this could restrict fuel flow due to the additional filters making it harder on my pumps. Any issues?
Also did you delete your stock filter after this?

Great install video except you always take the nut off the compression fitting to make sure the ferrule is slid over the fuel line all the way, not just slide over the tube. Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks, very clear content. It may be dark at 5pm in Washington, but at least its not freezing COLD like Maine. LOL.
IF those filter are before the oem filters and at 2 micron, I would leave the oem in place. They should hardly ever get a chance too get dirty. Right?

    • @j.j.sgarage1457
      @j.j.sgarage1457  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

True! I did leave it in place for a while. It wasn’t doing anything (still clean after 7k miles I believe) so I deleted it to clear some room in the bay. I made a vid about it. Thanks for watching!

I would like to ask you if you know if that kit you installed in your truck can be installed in a 5th
    Gen ram 2500?
I’m struggling to find info like that.
Thanks for helping me to figure this out..

The kit is for 03-12 trucks. They make a kit for 13-18 truck but I haven’t seen them come out with a kit for 5th gens. You can try asking them. Go to dieselfuelfilterkits.com

I feel like the fleece is a much easier install than the air dog then go with this filter kit. Fleece is a drop in on the tank. No regrets on the system? Solid 20psi or so even under throttle with this setup? Thanks!

    • @j.j.sgarage1457

kit looks like a good value for the filtration system. any reason you went with this over something like the FASS system that comes with the lift pump and filters for about $700.00

    • @j.j.sgarage1457

@@j.j.sgarage1457 gotcha, makes sense. im looking into either the Fass or these same ones you installed. you've been doing everything I want to do to your truck and Ive done/ have some of the stuff you want haha. i.e 4th gen linkage, ball joints , built trans

@@j.j.sgarage1457 www.atsdiesel.com/ats2/productdetail.asp?p=3099642308 this right here. I like it a lot. hence, why I want to do the fleece coolant bypass because it will bypass the torque converter cooler which has been known to internally crack and cause intermix, also I want to drill out the check ball in the trans line up by the drivers wheel well, probably doing that this weekend since..covid has everyone locked down here in CA
