The guys having issues with the threads are the guys that are overtightening them and pulling threads. It's very simple, to the gasket and another 1/2 turn. That's it!
Anyone know what thread the fittings are on elbows . Idk if my bracket was drilled on a Friday or Monday but have to get a short drop elbow or line won’t clear bracket off frame and allow it to sit into outside seat bolt
How's the Fleece lift pump holding up? Have you ever gelled up with the filter setup? I know we don't get that cold here in WA State, I want to go with the same setup instead of Airdog or Fass
Thanks for the update man, seems like that's the way to go. I didn't watch the video where you tested them in the mini fridge until after asking that. Good to know the Amsoil all in one is worth it, I've used Optilube xpd for years but might need to switch
Just for clarity just for clarity for those who've maybe not taken a filter and inspected the fuel when he takes the water separator and drains it that is necessarily fuel from the dirty side of the filter because the air I'm sorry the water is on the outside and dirty side of the filter it comes into the perimeter holes on the outside of the filter and get sucked in through the middle and up the center tube is the clean side so when he opens it up and drains it besides the fact that it could be just dirt that has gotten on the valve or something or in the jar like you said it is normal and expected that if any dirt was not just trapped in the filter pleats it would be draining out with the water that he drained doesn't mean the filter missed it it means the filter stopped the dirt
JJ, Where you at? We miss your videos! I came by to see if you had made new transmission lines and put a secondary trans cooler. I'm about to do that project myself.

Diesel fuel always has crap in it. You did good by installing the filters :) I'm waiting for my valve springs and pushrods you suggested to come in I'm doing those next :)
I made a vid when I installed the kit. You can check it out if you want. You can either leave the stock filter in or delete it like I did. Its personal preference.
I wouldn't prefill the filter, only prime the filter once it's on. Prefilling, especially if you're doing it through the middle hole and not the outer holes(outer holes dirty fuel in, middle hole clean fuel out), will send unfiltered fuel down to your injectors and other parts downline. Same with oil filters, don't prefill.

Getting ready to install this on my truck. What did your stock filter look like and are you still running it as well?
Thanks for the update...just ordered mine!
Hope you enjoy it!

Much appreciated! Thank you for your support!

Fleece is holding up great! I have not gelled up. I agree I don't think it gets cold enough. I also treat with Amsoil all in one.

@@pineappleIII No worries man. Thanks for checking it out!
About to order one for my dodge! What about the OEM fuel filter? Maybe I’ll just take the filter out and leave it run Wii’s filter? What you think?
You can leave it or take it out. I ended up deleting mine completely.

Good luck with the install. It takes time and requires patience. Take it slow and don’t drop a valve. 👍🏽
@@j.j.sgarage1457do have a video of how you did this whole setup? I would love to do it to my 17 6.7 Cummins
Oh shit I have a GEN three and a Boston too!!!
Hell yeah! 🍻
I have a 2016, just came across this kit online and I'm wondering how it works/what needs to be done with the front filter when you run this?

water settles to the bottom, correct? So why are you mixing what water that's in the jar by shaking it up? lmao You're emulsifying it.
