Absolutely! And we only had assembly up to age 14. So that’s going back 50 plus years now. Our church songs are very different but when you look at the words they hold good today

Safety and Happiness, Truth and Beauty., Knowledge and Understanding, Peace and Quiet, peanut butter and jelly, Spiritual Understanding, Divine Intervention, Inexplicable Bliss

We chose these pictures because we wanted to emphasis that saints are those ordinary people who are trying to follow God's ways. We note that St paul often addresses his readers: "To all God’s beloved in Rome, who are called to be saints" (Romans 1:7); " To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints..." (1Corinthians 1:2) and so on. So for us, any of these ordinary people walking past might be a saint. Yes, set apart in some ways, but also very much in the world as well. So often as Christians we fail to realise the intense love of God for all and particularly for many who WE mortals - often us Christians - consider very unlovable. In Luke chapter 9, when a Samaritan village refuses to welcome Jesus, two of His disciples suggest to Jesus that He call down fire from heaven to destroy them. Jesus rebukes them for these thoughts. Because, as one verse of this song proclaims, "ALL are thine!" Thank You heavenly Father for Your love and mercy. We are nothing without them! Thank You for loving me and for Your love for every single person who appears in the images above. Though not one of us deserves Your blessings, Your love or Your mercy, Your love poured out on us proves that You truly are Almighty God.
