In this video we will show you how to remove or replace the traction control module also known as yaw rate sensor on Dodge Journey / Fiat Freemont. In Europe Fiat Freemont is actually Dodge Journey and that is why it should be the same procedure to replace the traction control module also known as yaw rate. We will demonstrated how to replace the traction control module also known as yaw rate on a 2012 Dodge Journey but it should be the same for the whole generation.

Right front wheel speed sensor video please !! I saw your driver's side video, but the passenger side is hard to reach the electrical sensor. There must be a different procedure for under the hood.

Multi Axis Acceleration Sensor is what our 2012 dodge journey shows as the engine light. Is this the fix for that? C006a is the scanned code
Same for a 2013 Code C006A-49. People keep telling me it's a pedal sensor but after looking for days, it doesn't seem to be the same thing.
I'm getting the exact same code. C006A-49 with traction control light staying on. 2013 Dodge Journey. There was a recall on this and the dealer "supposedly" replaced the ABS module. Still having this light and no traction control. Very frustrating.

This video is great right up until you cut away from showing how to disconnect the clip on the yaw wire. A demonstration would have been great since dodge is know for manufacturing confusing clips like this one.
When you have the new piece in hand it's easy to see the clip lock on the right side of the connector. When you use a screwdriver, just push the plastic latch at the base of the connector and it will get free instantly
My wife has a 2016 Dodge Journey and the abs light and traction control light cane on both at the same time and all fuses are good, do u think a new yaw will fix it?

No light is off but occasionally comes back on randomly wail driving then stays on until next trip out
It is most likely the abs control module. Check for a recall. My 2010 is doing the same thing thing but the recall is only for 2012 and later.
@@ringo7745 I have a 2012 but it was built before April 2012 and because of that, the recall is not for me. Last time I own a dodge.

I have a 2010 Dodge Journey SE . Off and on its EPS AND BAS lights get on the dashboard but when I switch off the vehicle it disappears and may arrive again after 2 hrs 5 hrs or so . Please guide me what to do coz the mechanics are speculating o may be because of brake switch which o got changed.

C211B, C006A and C0042
Does any of these codes can be fixed replacing the Traction Control Module?
I have C006A-49 only with ESP (traction control) light on. Dealer said it was the Dynamic Sensor. I've got one ordered to try.

@@newfiepacer Yes. Once the part came in I replaced it myself. The code went away. That was over a year ago lol. Haven't had an issue with that code since.

Dodge Journey all wheel drive won't work
I will never in my life buy this kinds of dodge again. The Simple things on cars. Is really hard on Journey. My advice to u to never buy Dodge Journey again unless dealer take responsibility for those issues.
