    I have a 2015 STI with 18x9.5+38 wheels do you think both the GT and new STI 6 piston front and 4 piston rear will clear ?
    Great video btw.
    Cheers

      Thanks for your question. We test fit the STI wheels back to 2008 and they all cleared the Brembo 6-piston calipers. However I can't remember if we looked at the rear. But I would expect them to work.
      If you can, see if you can find someone in your area that has the larger brakes to see if you can test fit your wheel. That is the very best way to know for sure.
      Hope that helps and Stay Tuned!

    So they bolt on, rear parking brake is usable for daily usage. Will it clear factory 08-18 STi wheels being an 18x8.5 +53mm?

      Thanks for your question. For the Brembo 6-pistons that come on the 18+ STI, all of the STI wheels back to 2008 will clear them.
      For the 355mm kit it is harder to say. I think that you may need a spacer at a minimum to get some of the earlier wheels to clear.
      Hope that helps and Stay Tuned!

      @@FlatironsTuning Sounds promising. Found the 6 pot 355 /4 pot 345 Front Rear kits for a 14 STi. Sounds pretty promising so far for winter stock wheels. Aftermarket will have more aggressive offset. Thanks for the clarity and content!!!

    have anybody checked if Tribeca rear rotors are useable on GC/GD chassis cars? 320mm large rear rotors

    Can these fit 2004 Forester?

    • @FlatironsTuning
      @FlatironsTuning  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question. The short answer is yes. The Forester has the same front brake design as the WRX in 2004, so pretty much any WRX brake options would also work on a Forester XT.
      Hope that helps, and Stay Tuned!

    Good comparison! Any aftermarket carbon ceramic disc available for STI?

    • @FlatironsTuning
      @FlatironsTuning  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! We aren't aware of any Carbon Ceramic options for the Subaru's yet. But as they keep coming down in price, it is becoming more viable.
      Thanks!

    I was wondering how the rear drum was going to be integrated into a two-piece hat. Thanks for showing that. I assume that the drum lining is also aluminum? If so, is the rear hat itself one piece? Great videos.

    • @FlatironsTuning
      @FlatironsTuning  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Sam. Yes, the drum is aluminum. It is fine as you use the E-Brake for parking, and in an actual emergency. If you are wanting to use it to initiate a slide, etc., and use it a lot, you will go through the drum quickly. In that case, you would want to look at adding a hydraulic hand-brake.

      Oh for sure. It is a "parking brake" after all. Thanks for the reply.

    Is it possible for you to give us the part numbers of the front and rear calipers mounts?

    • @FlatironsTuning
      @FlatironsTuning  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question. Unfortunately we don't have part numbers for those brackets in the Brembo kits.
      Thanks for watching!

    • @majd00shka
      @majd00shka 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      FlatironsTuning it's already printed on the brackets

      @FlatironsTuning  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, we don't have that kit on the shelf any longer, so I can't pull them to look. If you like I can contact Brembo and get you pricing on a replacement set.

      Nice try man , I want it to use old Brembo calipers by just o raining the bracket it never happen very hard to find and they are not sold by sets unfortunately, ultimately I just when ahead and purchase the GT Kit, I can tell you I don’t retreat the money I’ve spend on both sets front/rear 👍🏽

    What do you do for dust shields with the GT kit?

    • @FlatironsTuning
      @FlatironsTuning  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because the rotor is significantly larger, you would need to modify them, or remove them all together.
      Thanks for watching!
