Come with my friend Liza and I as she shows us around the stunning Zamoskvorechye District of Moscow. You will see everything from a beautiful church, a chocolate factory, a power station turned into an art gallery and even the original Smirnoff Vodka Shop.
Liza is an English teacher and also plays in a Flag Football team in Moscow. If you want to contact her about either of those things her details are below.

Liza had so much more to show me but I want to keep my videos to about 20 minutes. Would you like Liza to help us with another walking tour video?
Why not ? Just do it !
Obviously Lisa must come back!.. and make the videos longer..
Surely!
Shoot videos together; its great idea!
I love that most Russian ladies keep their hair long, my beautiful Russian wife included.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Much love from Finland! Please keep these videos coming and show us what Europe's biggest city has in store. Have you considered visiting the delovoy tsentr? The metro station looks awesome and the buildings are swanky and tall. I'm sure Moscow has many museums and historical monuments too.
Considering that the victory day is just around the corner, those historical locations may be very crowded. It's probably wise to visit them after all of the hubbub is over.
I'd just like to end my comment by saying that not all westeners hate or fear ordinary Russians and I'm one of them. I also appreciate Russian history, culture and music.
Friendly greetings from Russia, Moscow :)
You can’t get around all the museums and monuments in Moscow in a short time 🙂
There are more than 440 private and state museums and their branches in Moscow. It is difficult to give an exact figure: today there is no single museum register, and different lists may or may not include specialized and departmental museums (on the history of enterprises, educational institutions, military units, museums of public organizations, exhibition halls).
Moscow is rich in monuments that reflect the milestones of its centuries-old history. Today in Moscow there are more than 6.5 thousand historical and cultural monuments. In recent years, the Moscow Government has been intensifying efforts to protect and restore Moscow cultural heritage sites.
Thank you for watching. Great people from Finland! Maybe I’ll make it there one day
Finland turned out to be an offended piece of the Russian Empire. Russia gave the Finns statehood. You fed at the expense of Russia. And now they have turned into another Baltic dwarf who hates Russia. Were Swedish slaves, became NATO slaves. The right path has been chosen.
Hello from Australia ! Amazing energy Liza, I am so impressed by Russia and the Russian people. I am definitely coming to visit ! P.S. I am pretty sure I could smell the chocolate smell from the chocolate factory ! Divine ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello from Russia! I'm not Lisa, but I confirm her words that you are welcome here! Please come, but please don't bring your giant pet-tarantula because our pet-bears are very afraid of spiders ❤
@@ca6aka OK, no spiders :)
The building you talked about at the beginning of the video is the von Reck Mansion, built in 1897. Now there is a division of the Ministry of Energy there.
Lisa is such a friendly and enthusiastic girl.
She is great!
And it's very promising to see a representative of young generation love their city and country and religion. The hope is still there, I guess. Thank you for a great walk
Liza I will be moving to Moscow soon to be with my wife. I have been to Russia several times and love it. The fact that family, friends and community are still most important makes it even better as these are things I value.

Enjoyed watching your video mate. Beautiful area, architecture is grand. This young lady did nice job, showing you around. I’m planning to come to Russia in August, hopefully I can spend some time in Moscow. Would be nice to meet you there mate.

There are few chocolate factories in Moscow. So you can smell it in different parts of the city. Also there are bread and sausage factories.

Gzhel, a porcelain movement that originated at the beginning of the 19th century. The Russian master painters started painting their products in white and blue tones and were inspired by Dutch Delft blue.

Delftware is glazed earthenware first made in the early 17th century in Delft, Netherlands. The inspiration for the paintings came from Chinese porcelain, which was imported to Holland on VOC ships.

Such a nice and vivid walk, thanks guys!
I love Moscow, but it's massive. I met more people from Moscow, tourists, in my hotel in St. Petersburg than I did in Moscow. 😂👍
You are doing a great thing, man. My Russian wife and I plan to go to Moscow around mid-summer. It would be great to meet over coffee.
It's shocking how war the west has fallen. It hasn't happened by accident. Our nations have been destroyed by our own political leaders, people we elected to trash our nations. I better learn Russian and quickly because I feel more desperate than ever to escape from the mess that has been created here.
Great format of the video. keep going!
Thanks, I will
Great video. Lisa is so nice and genuine and beautiful. It would be wonderful if you could do a tour of an old cemetery. ❤

Great video! Beautiful city. It’s interesting that at the end of the video you mentioned how people in Moscow are some of the friendliest people you’ve ever met, I have to say I’ve heard and read about how even Russians consider people in Moscow to not be friendly! Wonder if this is a combination of western propaganda, Russians who are unfairly biased towards moscow residents, or?
It’s just that there are some people who come from Moscow to the regions of Russia and behave arrogantly and defiantly, so they were not very liked both under the USSR and in modern Russia. Of course, you need to understand that all people are different, and there are only a small number of such arrogant people who spoil the general idea of Muscovites. Well, this is one of the options why relations between Muscovites and people from the regions can be spoiled. 🤔
In Russia there is this dish. Called nanny (няня). Previously, it was prepared in villages. My grandmother made it. I liked it. Nowadays people rarely breed animals even in villages. That's why I haven't met him for 30 years. I think young people don't know about him anymore.
classic envy, this exists in almost every country in relation to the richest and most developed cities

FYI, riding a bike or a scooter on a crosswalk is a violation of the traffic code. A rider is supposed to dismount. The fine is 800 RUR.

Hello how did you find the courage to make the jump to move? What do you do for living? Do you intend to stay long term? I am looking to network with western foreigners in Moscow as I would eventually like to move there and do business there. I have what many would consider a good situation in the UK but I want to move for a while in Russia and like I said do business because there are so many opportunities with their import substitution programs and so many companies looking to export and aggressively expanding. I grew up in Glasgow (but spent most of my life England and a little while in continental Europe). I hope you respond and we could correspond a little bit.

For those who do not know the difference between Catholicism and Orthodoxy, the main difference is that in the western branch of Christianity there is the Pope - the head of the church, and in the eastern branch of the main church - Christ himself.
i.e., the western branch has entered a person (sinner) with the rights of the head - the supreme ruler. And the eastern part (Orthodoxy) considers it impossible for a person to be the head of the church because of his sinfulness. And only Christ himself, by virtue of his sinlessness and his sacrifice in the name of people, can be the head of the church.
This is the main difference. The rest are just a consequence of this. In particular, in Orthodoxy, indulgence (buying absolution for money) is impossible. Sins can only be tuned for by repentance and good deeds.
And, of course, it is impossible to be LGBT in Orthodoxy, which has been happening in Catholicism lately.

the only thing is that Stalin was after Lenin, the tile with Stalin was replaced because of the general new deragotory policies related to Stalin

@@scottishguyinmoscow Indeed, it's home to Tretyakov Art Gallery. I still recommend Presnya area with Bolshaya and Malaya Gruzinskaya streets between the Zoo (Krasnopresnenskaya metro) and Belarussky train station with DEPO Food hall located not far on Lesnaya street; it's also worth seeing, smelling and tasting.
9:27 This is probably quite understandable, but it is still worth noting that Stalin outlived Lenin, so Lenin could not replace his image, if this was meant.
Thanks for confirming
Did I understand Lisa correctly that the portrait of Stalin was replaced by Lenin when Lenin became the "main guy"?
After Stalin's death, the new government of the USSR condemned his actions and removed all his images, replacing them with a more worthy figure of Lenin in their opinion.
@@oksast какой пиздец)
