The last time I was playing I was able to get a server up & running on 1.16. I port forwarded, did everything correct, friends could join, no issues. I don't know why, but I am only able to connect locally to my server, I can't connect through my public IP (nor can my friends). Is this a common problem on this 1.19 update?
theres an ip adress that tells you how to connect at the back of the router, just connect to that ip and once you do that enter the username and password(which can also be found at the back of the router)

in my router settings its showing source ip adress(given option : any) , destination ip adress(?).. what input should i give.. also its showing only internal port type & internal port. no options for external port.. btw my router company is Jio .. can you please check out it.. i started a server in mobile(termux) and i want to play in pc..
what you want to do is (if your on windows 10) go down to where the wifi icon is, right click, click on the bottom one, go to ethernet if you use an ethernet cable (if you dont skip this part) and click the ethernet one, scroll down and go to ipv4 address and copy it and go to your browser and paste it.
I followed this tutorial, and I made my friend follow it as well, for years I havent been able to open servers, and I still couldnt. We both have firewall rules set up. When I created the server, he couldnt join But I was able to join when he made the server with my instructions. The firewall rules are working, we had our firewalls enabled when I joined him, but he couldnt join me even when we disabled firewalls. The port forward should be good, because I literally instructed my friend through it and it worked. I checked mine too, should be all good. What do you think the issue may be? Can it be my router blocking it in some way? yes ipv6 is just like ipv4 the only diffrence being ipv6 is stronger wich means your server will run better :D
