I too had gone through these same problems... Even my mom always she used to tell me that...you straight your hair ones you join degree or else it won't look good ...every time she used to tell me like this only ...so i thought my hair is ugly and i used to feel embracing whenever i see straight hair girls ....soo many times i cried also regarding this....and i used to straight my hair with iron box also 😔😓when i joined degree one of my friend made me realise that im having very beautiful wavy hair ...if i take head bath it becomes curly ...she showed me some pics of models who had curly hair and made me feel my hair is special 😍😍😍...then i looked into mirror and regrated about what and all damage i had done to my hair ....then after that i started to love my sexy curly hair😍😍😍...so girls don't lose confident in you by listening someone's comment... Beauty is in everyone that we have to find it ....thats it ...learn to love your self ...then everything looks beautiful😍😍
Shrunga R You had some really kind people in your college. I’ve rebonded my hair for like 10+ years. I did try to transition when in college. But guess what.. bullying was worse in college than school. 😒 It made me insecure.

Now I'm sixteen and guess what!? I did shave my head! No difference at all!
People say shaving head brings straight hair. But it's only in a baby. Usually the first hair grown on a baby is actually Curly and frizzy. So when Indians first shave the baby's hair, new hair grows out as their natural hair texture. The hair you get at 8-10 yrs is the permanent nature of the hair and that can't be changed by a head shave

When I was younger, I did everything I could to curl my hair. I think it's soo beautiful, I would braid it and slept with it and then there would be a slight wave on my hair in the morning, I wouldn't even wanna brush my hair cause it never last. But now, I feel accepting of my hair. I think it's a never ending cycle. Curly girl envying straight hair girls and vice versa. Tall girl envying short girls and vice versa.😂

Story of my life.
My guardian angel was my roommate, she told me only 10% of people have curly hair.
This was a moment of life for me
God, I don't f*cking understand why we weren't taught about this. I went through the same self hatred or hatred towards my wavy/curly hair and.. yeah, almost everything you said, I related to it. Keeping it short, blow drying, straightening, keratin, looking up to straight hair, everything. Only if we were taught about the CG method. It would have helped all the wavy/curly haired girls with their self confidence.
Edit: I learned about the method like a month ago. My hair is currently half jhaadu and half my natural 2b because keratin. 😪

I guess every girl with curls (Especially in India ) go through the same journey... but thank god I stopped myself before getting a keratin treatment after few stupid people recommended it.I am perfecting my curls now... Beautiful curls on the way...

Girl.... Have gone through most of your experience. My friends tease me sayin "do birds nest in your hair?". I got so irritated, so once i got job i went and did straightenin, for around 5 years continued it. But then realised my hair is unhealthy damaged and lost all its volume and now I have stopped all heat for past 2 years, my hair has grown healthy past shoulder and am chopping off the straight ends slowly but definitely hair is thick and healthy now and I am learning ways to embrace my natural hair.. Proud of my curls now😁😁😁👍
Your hair and your honest story gives me hope. All my life I was made to feel that my hair is ugly or not beautiful enough. But last week I have decided to stop wishing it were straighter. I am going to embrace myself as I am. Thank you for doing this video ❤️
My god.... I myself is a hairstylist. I can totally understand all ur situation. It takes hell lot of guts to do ur own rebonding and it's much more harder to grow back ur natural curls. Hats off to u. To add on Paraben and sulfate had nothing to do with ur hair texture they r just ingredients which helps to rip out oil and dirt...

my curls have got a lot split ends and whenever I cut it , after few days my hairs again get splitted again and since few weeks split ends have considerablly increased by an inch even if I trim those ends, I don't know what to do , plz help🥺

Didi... I have the same curly hair of yours.. The front upper part is straight.. But the down part id frizzy. The lowest layer of my hair (just above the neck? )is not growing. That layer is damaged and is not growing for a while(3 years)what will i do to lengthen my hair?

From childhood boycut to using iron with cloth to rebounding...doing what others did ..alwayss trying to get straight hair...and what not ...and eventually regretting for treating my healthy fun curly hair so harsh that I had damaged it so sooo muchh. Nowww I'm trying everyway to get back my curls back and bring some health to it. I'm happy that YOU got them back and I'm happy that ....I've finally realised how beautiful hair is and how I can just love it more by letting them just be how they are. Hey..I just purchased curl up shampoo set on recommendation of u..I really have thin hair but they are curly..earlier when they used to be a lil frizzy my scalp never used to be visible soo much but when I used this shampoo conditioner and cream my scalp has started becoming so visible because of having light hair. Plz help me out with the problm or I just bought the wrong product for my hair.

They love my hair literally as if I'm endorsing some hair product brand and it's all natural.. but I die to turn it into curls.. and idk why but everyone from salon to friends and family denied and somehow I still have straight hair!
