I live next to the loch and most times ive caught pike its been really sunny, looks like you guys had a great time and got really lucky with the weather.
i'm in morayshire chris and one day in april a few years back i was wrapped up with hat, gloves and big jacket fishing in snow and hail storms but by afternoon the sky cleared and the sun came out and i was catching trout fishing in a t-shirt!
