    Someone referring to themselves as a "fellow mutant" when talking to the literal current world's strongest man is some next level ego

    Lee Sang is in danger. How many times did it take from Artyom having his own news section to hin getting popped lmao. Lee Sangyeon is the fuckkng GOAT for posting so much of his training.

      not a single Korean weightlifter has ever been popped by an international body whether or not there are one-off juicers. They do have the occasional national pops though.

    I do wonder why Lasha takes a strongman style full width grip for his back squats but has a crazy narrow clean and jerk grip for his size. Maybe he associates the back squat with snatch positions, so he uses his snatch grip. And yeah his unique one shoulder bail technique always looks like an injury waiting to happen, and I can't imagine his shoulders are so tight that he can't do a normal bail.

  • @sonofsouth2800
    @sonofsouth2800 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    As for Lasha's wide grip, I recon it's because the whip on the bar. Better feedback and stability.

    The reason for the above the belly power cleans is that one of the events for the official strongman games online qualifier is a max overhead from the ground with any implement. The current leader is Brenton Stone with 200kg.

    The thrower attends the university of Nebraska, located in Lincoln NE. I was a strength and conditioning intern there in that weight room about 6 summers ago. And yes those weight arms are moving up from the guy off to left side of the camera, he’s using the electric remote connected by the electrical cord to the power platform.

    I love how in every video of pro athletes squatting, deadlifting, benching etc. there is always some sub 200lb pencil neck in the comments saying that like “point your toes out to get more quad activation” “believe in yourself more” stfu, when you can squat over 800lbs then you have a right to criticise this stuff

    • @matthewmckee6289
      @matthewmckee6289 ปีที่แล้ว

      generally allows them to move faster rather than grinding our reps. the actual speed you move is very important for adaptions, especially to power output.

    • @francesco_pesi
      @francesco_pesi ปีที่แล้ว

      @@matthewmckee6289 and that's fine. But you can move fast with heavyish weights for less reps, it's less taxing than doing 10 reps.
      I mean 80-85% for singles to triples will move fast but burn you out less than 70-75% for 10s.
      I assume it's 70-75% bc I can't believe that those guy's 60% is 250 or 310kg 😂
