I bought the suede wheel with shift paddles it was only $225 plus 50 for dealer to install from gm accessories. I also bought a suede shift boot/knob as well. I got that for $75. I love the shifter feels soooo nice, can’t wait for the steering wheel! It’s on back order.

The LCD DISPLAY has to be the best upgrade for anyone like me with an analog cluster.
Do yourself a favor and just get a V Sport Premium. I had a base and now have a premium and I don't know what I was thinking every owning a base. So much nicer.
@@JOHNWAYNE1920 Everything is swappable on a base except the sunroofs which the premiums have
True, but that sunroof is nice and frankly used ones are so cheap I'd think you'd have more in converting a base than just buying a premium. I feel like I stole my premium.
do you know if it’s possible to get this modification done professionally? what kind of shops should i look for to do for me if so
@@xImaginereal it is really easy to do it yourself once you find the cluster amd have it programmed. There is a video here on TH-cam of someone actually doing the swap. Otherwise an audio shop would probably do it.

Yes, Cadillac should be using the full digital display in everything; it is that much better.
Have you thought about trying to add the new ct5 "rearview mirror camera" to the cts? Or heard of anyone doing this?

Is it a 3rd gen CTS? You definitely can get the mirror from Alpha mods and the cluster can be bought and will need programming. Check www.whiteautoandmedia.com/

do you think it would be possible to swap paddle shifters onto a non-paddle shifter 2015 ats? i dont like having the manual mode controls on the shifter itself. paddle shifters feel a lot better to me.
I don’t know the answer to that. I guess that all depends if the wiring is integrated. If it were you could just get a new wheel with shifters. I’m sure this has to have been tested before

I have a 14 Cadillac xts platinum v
I have the led illuminated door handles that only light uo when you unlock the car or lights are on twilight sentinal. Is there any way these outside door lights be Illuminated at all times when the headlights are on at night. I went to cadillac dealerships and they do not know how to do this since its controlled by a module
Or if you know a trusted repair shop in Houston texas

There is no procedure or official modification to do this. As of now, I don't know anyone that has done it but it would require the appropriate electrical knowledge to rewire the power appropriately. Sorry, a lot of people are looking to do this but there's no easy solution as of yet.

I’ve only seen conversions on the V. Join THE ATS-V FB groups. It’s expensive but the package is a game changer

I thought I was the only one bothered by that seat belt rattle. I just had the dealer replace the B pillar at the end of my warranty

There was no wagon of this generation. Yes Gen 2 and gen 3 Were both made in 2014 But their NAV systems are completely different

James Jones it’s already LED. except the visor mirror lights but I decided against it as I thought they might be too bright. Colors inside would be cool!
Just heard from someone that the interior ambient lighting is probably not upgradable due to being proprietary built in LEDS or something. But I saw something on eBay.... like thin rope lighting you can wedge into your trim. Not sure how I felt about it.

You didn't list the V recaro seats. I'd like to get a set out of a wrecked V. They were available in the later V sports as an option. Those seats are so much better than the stock especially if you track.

How to add a shock sensor or tilt sensor to cts factory alarm?
A lot of manufacturer alarm systems are hard to integrate to fro what I hear. You almost always end up having to do aftermarket.
Is it a program to add to watch videos while in drive?
That is possible with the CUE HMI upgrade or certain USB dongles

G2 is your best bet if you don’t powder coat. But powder coat is how I would go next time.
I have a video on G2 paint. I suggest getting better brushes though.

@@phenomfacemob1011 not all mods in this video are from 404 parts but some are. If it’s an OEM or CUE product and you don’t see it on their site send them an email. They have access to all GM parts

Yeah I would go 2016+ for sure. 2017 has CUE 3.0 I think

@@vernonpaigejr.1517 2016s already have it from the factory. There may have been some early ones that only had CarPlay or some that only had Android auto. This was fixed with a small update from the dealer. But most 2016+ are already setup

wait why is the corvette or camaro an enthusiast car? thats furthest from the truth, most people with those cars get it cause FaSt CaR vRoOm, real enthusiast cars include the brz, honda civic, wrx etcetc. my buddy with a vette keeps it stock, makes me wanna puke
