Use it as a air Bnb or something, then you could build whatever because there is a “house” on it. Maybe stay in it occasionally. You don’t have to stay in a house every night for it to be a primary dwelling. IDK just an idea…

If ur gonna head to Jersey you might as well jump to PA and hit up Posh and Catty woods!!! Literally some of the best hand built trails in the US and possibly been there the longest. Place is legendary.

I know that houses in America aren't really brick & mortar like here in England but there's actual houses you can buy from a few companies now that are in a literal package haha. You could build the smallest house possible, rent it out? You may need someone to live in it or perhaps you may have to stay there for a bit buuuuut weekends or if you did end up building more you'd have somewhere to sleep if you had long days.

leave it to the city to tell you cant build something in the middle of the woods and above ground i can understand concrete but if you aint putting footers i dont see how this affects the land or has anything to do with the city when its not in the borough
What everyone doesn't realize is that just to run the water lines powerlines which the city is going to make you have in order to get any kind of home approved to build just for those hook ups you're probably looking at about 30 grand at least Seems like such a waste spending all that money on concrete tho the taxes don't cost that much like 500 or 600 bucks a year if you ever do something like this again do it as a nonprofit then you don't have to pay any tax and you won't have near as much liability if you want to have people you don't really know that will come out it limits your liability a ton plus you don't have to pay taxes on any of the stuff you would buy for the property so all that concrete is poured you wouldn't have to pay any tax on just an idea

A house doesn’t have to be big and could be a lot cheaper as a owner builder. Do some research and just build the necessities of a small house. Shouldn’t be to hard to get water in Florida and solar would be fairly easy just like the vans .
