Wow them memories of when you first got the house and you, scotty, Matt and trey all built it together, I’m sure it’s not just me that would go mad but to see you guys collaborate would be epic you’ve all gone so far a reunion would be crazy

@Jake Scotty was there at the start and not in a single part of this edit. so no even after all these years, nothing. And yeah like a good number of people, watched the big boy spend like an hour or more on a single rail because bigboy said he could and scotty called him out. We watched the transformation happen, but the tension is just too much currently. more time maybe.
Scotty is the one who got shit on in all this after all he did for big boy pushing him to where he is today big boy would not be if it wasn’t for Scottys channel making him famous

You know????...BB....I watched every....absolutely every video back then....when you were still together. You...Scotty and the boys. And I think you owe a hell of a lot to Scotty. I don't know what problems you had within this crew but I have to say.....as a team you were really amazing and unbeatable and interesting. But now... today... all of you aren't anymore. I would be happy if you would rediscover and revive your friendship. All of you....should never forget where you come from and what you have built together. Talk to each other and find your way back to your common path. And then... you're unbeatable.

You gotta go pressure treated wood, paint everything, and keep it higher off the ground so it can dry out. Not way off the ground obviously because then you have to worry about the lateral movement. Putting wood ramps right on the ground or only a few inches off the ground is a terrible idea, especially on Florida.
Back when the channel was still good. Wish you would go back to making more content like this.
This is just my opinion but I really think skatelite makes the wood rot faster. Like it traps moisture underneath it and doesn't let the ramp breathe. Anybody think that?
Well a wood skate ramp in the south east is kind of a never-ending project. We have extreme heat and usually like 100% humidity. Plus some cities down here are some of the rainy-est in the US. So going from soaking wet to totally baked out on a almost day to day basis, not to even mention the wear and tear from riding....
These things get wrecked out within the year. Like without skatelite, we used to re sheet our ramps like twice a year. Skatelite helps a lot but you should still pull it up and add a new layer every once in a while, the skatelite isn't a forever fix

I guess either way its something they want to keep private which they have every right to do, just kinda sucks as a fan of them both they seemed to have a really good friendship

2x4 Probably still good under the plywood. If you rebuild use pressure treated 2x4 and they actually make treated ply wood too

@@Sbizzle01 no true just with Florida with all the rain and stuff plus termites it happens takes a lot to keep them going replacing and fixing wood he even said cost money he is not going to be there a lot and he is renting it out and they don't want the ramps plus it cost more for home insurance Big Boy talked all about it i mean look at Trey's ramps over the years that is why Big Boy and them put Skate lite on it makes it last longer
Right? I had a 6 foot quarter last around a decade here in a wet part of Australia. It was on a gravel pad, I just painted it with outdoor paint once every couple years. It held up fine.

I would go concrete next time. Or metal framing and all composite. Pressure treated ply if you absolutely have to use it. But even that I would avoid. That green paint did nothing. So yea dirt or concrete I’d say.
The whole reason of the backyard skate park rotting is you did not add roof tarp on the plywood. And then you add the smooth plywood above the plywood and roof tarp.
Wish the OG videos of you getting the house and building/riding the ramps werent deleted/removed. I didnt realize he removed that manu videos until i started looking recently. Even the pitbike vids are gone. Basically anything that focused on you or trey without other channel members is just gone. Sad
Man some of the greatest laughs I’ve ever had were when Scotty was filming Trey and Big Boy on the bikes. I hate what these channels have become
