I honestly like the slower rate of fire with guns that have really low ammo counts, it helps you conserve your ammo, so you don't waste it all within two seconds.
As someone who does use this a fair bit here are the 3 most common times it's useful imo. 1. Flat spin recovery, it's plain but on stuff like the F-15 which rip wings a ton it will allow you to survive so much more often. 2. the english electric lightning can actually get a decent bump to it's instant turning due to it's engine stack (possibly also the La-200, but i don't have it to test) 3. the ariete, it can get max power on both engines without overheating either of them, just stick it at 99% primary 109% secondary and you'll get peak power (and sometimes a bit over?) without ever overheating

At the end of the day it doesn't matter though because they're still different guns. A 37mm can come in a million different sizes (consider the American 37mm versus the Russian one)
The good part about la 200 is that it one taps with those 3 37mm cannons The bad part its that is kinda hard to control and when it gets super fast the guns turn hard to aim
@@ivanshishkov4473mig 21s is by far my most used vehicle in the game and i still struggle to hit with the GSh 23. They are just such low velocity rounds. I find the N-37Ds pretty easy to hit with though. They seem pretty fast.
This thing is a monster of a aircraft.. I use it as a bomber interceptor.. it climbs great and with the air target rounds can 1 tap b29s with ease.. for fighters.. yeah depends if my aim is true..
I remember fighting one in my nearly stock Me 262. I didn't really know anything about it, other than it was fast and probably didn't turn very well. So I just evaded all of his attacks for nearly the entire match until he switched to some other target, which allowed me to get close and shoot him out of the sky :) I was very proud of myself :3
I find that thing much harder to play then for example Gloster Javelin, thats usually considered painful, i dont know whats wrong w me when everyone loves it, i have currently played 10 matches with it, and got just two kills, i know its faster then others. I know it has better weaponry then others. I know it turns well. But for some reason, most likely beacuse i have spent alot of time in Su-11 air rb grinding, so im unable to use a plane that is bad in dodging attacks from behind- even Spitfires are threat to me in that + - 800 kmh keeping plane, and at the top of all that, 11k repair cost makes it most difficult and frustrating plane for me.
The amount of B-29s I've shot down using this thing is almost criminal. I see one hunkering down the battlefield, and I go for it. I don't even feel bad about their repair cost when I use this thing😂.

That this is still 7.7 while the su11 fiiiiinally went up to 7.3 is truly a gift to the russian tech tree from the snail.
Tbh SU11 could be in 7.7 it would still be good

the 37 looks so small on the plane but when you look at the ostwind they seme so big
Well they are different guns meant for shooting different targets.

I was just looking at this plane (and grinding it) now i can see how to play it. Love you vids

It's decent at knocking out tank engines in ground battles, I really struggle overshooting slow air targets
Watching TS struggle to hit his shots reminded me why I almost never play Air RB.
The russian guns take getting used to. US planes are easier to use

Great plane, play like any other Mig21. You have to notch, use your speed, don’t dogfight if you don’t have to. Stay low.
You can dogfight, but apparently parking is not your thing ; )
