Well… let’s be honest: The best part of the modern Doctor Who is from 2005. 9-12th Doctors. Yes, we had “a bit of problems” with Jodi, more to the point Chibnall, the showrunner, who succeeded in destroying a lot of things and make it a propaganda. The “newest” part is trying to get back on the level, but it’s not yet. So if you want for the real Doctor (and all the fandom who love it) start from Rose, 2005, and even you can react to Torchwood at its 2 season’s end, that has also incredible performance and writing (no kidding a lot cried).
