These programmes are watched by all south Indians. We don't understand Tamil clearly. When bhagavathar explain in English we understand to some extent. Please don't be fanatics to be restricted to your mother tongue. This is not for one State, udayular is liked , followed by many people. He belongs to all of us. Great singer with lots of devotion and faith. Recently he sung in Sri Sathya Sai Baba center chennai. What a renderence surely sai baba would have been pleased and blessed him though he wasn't a devotee. His mission like taking people towards spirituality is done through kalyanaraman as he influence many people by singing Lords glory.

Apart - the fact is that there are only a hand full of powerful orators who speak in Tamizh without borrowing from other languages Chaturvedi swamigal, velukkudi krishnan, vai. gopalakrishnan, iLambirai manimaran. If we don't make it a habit to talk in pure Tamizh without borrowing from english, or evolve the language, we will be killing the language slowly.

Have you listened to Brahma Shri Velukudi Krishnan, Chaturvedi Swamigal, Ilampirai Manimaran or Vaiko's speech on Silappathigaaram? They speak such beautiful Tamizh. I don't understand what is the useless part of the comment I made. As such people cannot talk in Tamizh anymore. it is Tamlish, Hinglish etc. Do you not want to be fluent in Tamizh (Tamil these days!)?
