All these years I never realised our heritage. After listening to Kuldeep sir's songs, developed interest to understand about our great country Bharath Trying to make my kids learn the same. It's due to our education system which has failed to inculcate our Sanatan Dharma at an early age. Needs radical change.

This just one of the Fine Arts in Hindu culture. And this is only in Carnatic style that is nurtured in southern part of India. And there is so much trasure of music in various parts of India. In Hinduism there is temple sculpture, painting, and innumerable dance forms and traditions. And literature..man ..in so many Indian languages. It's a ocean out there..you will be awestruck!!!
Not any film music can come anywhere close to this. This is a classical Indian treasure. This is a class act. There is so much literature and musical knowledge put into this effort. In the guru (Kuldeep Pai) we see a lot of love towards the kids. In the desciples we see a lot of love and respect for the music and tradition and their guruji.

My daughter Divigna is 10 months old. She listens atleast 10 times a day with a smile on face, tries to move her hands like Surya Gayathri and Rahul.. once Kuladeep sir starts singing, her energy will rise and sat on her knees and dance. She is very crazy of this song..

Saint Kanakadasa beautifully describes Lord Krishna's dance on Kalinga's heads ಡೊಳ್ಳಿನ ಮ್ಯಾಲ್ ಕೈಯ ಭರಮಕ್ಕ ಹಾಕ್ಯಾನು ತಾಳಾವ ಶಿವನಪ್ಪ ತಟ್ಯಾನು ಮ್ಯಾ ಒಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳೆ ಪದಗಳ ಹನುಮಪ್ಪ ಹಾಡ್ಯಾನು ಚಲುವ ಕನಕಪ್ಪ ಕುಣಿದಾನು ಮ್ಯಾ Rough Translation: When the lord of the universe, Sri Krishna started dancing on egoistic Kalinga's head to teach him a lesson, there was so much grandeur displayed by Sri Krishna that all Devatas gathered. Our 2 year old son started "playing tabla" on the table with his eyes closed and then started dancing. He said krishna ...snake...dance...without any prompting and continued dancing for 2 minutes.... your purpose is realized sir. This reached his heart and all of us. Exceptional in every sense.

I was very much excited when I saw Kalinga Narthana. I didn't resist myself to click the play button. As soon as I started listening, i am not sure why or how, gallons of tears started rolling. I didn't have a clue why that was happening. I experienced bliss, pure happiness and that certifies the divinity the trio have in their voice. I felt like hunting for Krishna and seeing His dance. Being a dancer myself, I started swaying with my eyes closed! All of these actions purely involuntary. This is the sole motive of music- to make the rasika transcend to another level and you did it!! The one and only person whom I am dying to meet and bow down in this birth is Kuldeep Pai sir! Music with spirituality in its purest form is rendered by him. After aruna sairam's rendition, i too was overwhelmed with tears in this video. Kids have done a true justice to this composition. I may be wrong, but my interpretation of this Narthana is how Krishna as a Kid (Innocence, Selflessness) triumphs over Kalinga (Ego, Pride of Achievement, Jealousy).. YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. I played it first thing this morning, careful to keep the volume low, so as not to disturb anyone else at home, as they were sleeping late on the Sunday. I played it again keeping the volume higher, soon waking up everyone else at home. But, instead of getting angry comments, everyone just stood around, taking in the mesmerizing magic. I could not resist playing it much much louder the third time. Wonder of wonders, I spied my neighbors listening in. Soon, they wanted to know which album I was playing. I am sure, the Gods would have danced in heaven. Who ever can hear this rendition, and yet not stand up and dance??? That's impossibility. I was very much excited when I saw Kalinga Narthana. I didn't resist myself to click the play button. As soon as I started listening, i am not sure why or how, gallons of tears started rolling. I didn't have a clue why that was happening. I experienced bliss, pure happiness and that certifies the divinity the trio have in their voice. I felt like hunting for Krishna and seeing His dance. Being a dancer myself, I started swaying with my eyes closed! All of these actions purely involuntary.
This is the sole motive of music- to make the rasika transcend to another level and you did it!!
The one and only person whom I am dying to meet and bow down in this birth is Kuldeep Pai sir! Music with spirituality in its purest form is rendered by him. He is a reincarnation of some divine being, can feel that aura!

YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN. I played it first thing this morning, careful to keep the volume low, so as not to disturb anyone else at home, as they were sleeping late on the Sunday. I played it again keeping the volume higher, soon waking up everyone else at home. But, instead of getting angry comments, everyone just stood around, taking in the mesmerizing magic. I could not resist playing it much much louder the third time. Wonder of wonders, I spied my neighbors listening in. Soon, they wanted to know which album I was playing.
