People really scared that they wouldn’t be able to get a copy of SM 3D All Stars but in my experience so far, it’s everywhere. It’s rare in the sense that it will only be around for 6 months but I’m sure Nintendo produced millions of these.
My local Walmart has GTA V on the 360 for $10 (need to get back up there), portal 2 for $13, doom 3 bfg edition for $13, left 4 dead for $13, and a few other 360 games new. I recently dusted off my 360 and began collecting as games are dirt cheap, and was amazed that a retailer still carried brand new games for a 15 year old console.
Pause at 22:26 what game is that?? ive been searching for that exact same picture on the left for YEARS, thats exactly what I remember, what game is it??
Great pickups! Love that Darius collection! I was lucky enough to play some of the original 3 screen Darius arcade games in Japan earlier this year :D Cool series but VERY hard!!
Press Start has always been one of my favourite places, Russ always makes sure to take care of his customers, I was looking for some uncommon PS2 RPG's to finish up my collection years ago, he asked what I was after, I had Wild Arms 4, and some cheap fillers, he got up and ran to the back and came out with a sealed copy of Wild Arms 5 and said I could have it for what he'd sell it used at, I was elated and always make sure when I'm in New West to stop by and take a look, always end up leaving with something every visit
Leisure Suit Larry was my favourite. Played first time at my friends house on his father’s IBM XT. I was shocked as a kid how risqué it was too. That book is awesome with beautiful artwork.
I really disliked the original. The second was far better but it was a medium game to me. I beat both, and I could not shake the feeling the game did not meet the potential of what ff game could be. FF7R only reminds us of how good a FF can be. I was super interested in trying Lightning Returns. Should I try it? It seems to have addressed lots of issues the previous titles did not.
you all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Damon Luis i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out now. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
D&D Warriors of the Eternal Sun might be my most nostalgic Genesis game actually! I put tons of hours on it and knew every inch of the map. Now it's kind of a forgotten title on the system.
Johnny, I am a huge, huge, huge Sonic the Hedgehog fan and I am glad you picked up Sonic Mania. It's one of my favorite games ever. If you play it soon, I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Also Streets of Rage 4 is no doubt my game of 2020!
If you love Point & Click Games or just Videos about it, I highly recommend Pushing up roses here on youtube! She does a really great job at reviewing the P&C Games and much more. Great channel
Warriors of the Eternal Sun is one of my favorite RPGs of all time. There is also Order of the Griffon on Turbo Grafx, which is very similar but a bit more primitive.
Yea it's a great game remember renting it over and ov were again as a kid and having my game saves be ereased and having to start over. Finaly got a hold of a boxed version about 3 years ago. I love having it in my collection.

I wasnt a big fan of 13, but I loved 13-2. 13-2 is in my top 5 favorite FF games for sure. Couldnt get into LR, but to be fair, i didnt give it the chance it deserved...
LR is wierd at first because of the time limit and single-character actiony battles but when you start to understand how everything works and that the time limit can be extended a LOT, the game just becomes much more enjoyable.
I’m not here to troll but I’m amazed that 13-2 could be in someone’s top 5 list. Maybe I’m missing something. What did you enjoy about it? Would love to hear it from someone else’s eyes.
@@joelzicomcg Ff8 was the first game I played, and both 8 & 9 are my top games for separate reasons, but both hold a lot of nostalgia with me. Ten and twelve are next on my list, and 13-2 gets slot 5. I liked 13-2 because it felt like a breath of fresh air after what 13 ended up being. I loved Noel and Caius-- definitely some great character. Caius is still my fave antagonist to this day. I liked being able to capture and level up enemies to be in your party, snd i liked the freedom of hopping around the different worlds, going back and resetting levels and beating things you couldnt beat before cause you werent strong enough. Just a very different experience from any other FF and just a much different but interesting story than what was presented in 13. Even though you basically just had the two characters, i didnt feel like i was missing out of having more characters in my party since I thought the story arc around Noel was so interesting. The plethora of enemies you could have as your 3rd party member didnt hurt that either. Music was top notch too, but thats usually the case with any FF. 😊
About Darius, something that really surprises me is that the pronunciation the Japanese give it (according to the katakana anyway) is actually "Dar-eye-us", so I guess we pronounce it wrong regardless of how we say it. lol
I wish games like Streets of Rage 4 were actually developed to work on classic consoles. Bitmap Bureau put out a game called Xeno Crisis for Switch, PS4, XB1 and I think Steam, BUT they also released it on the Neo Geo, Sega Dreamcast AND the Sega Genesis. I know the market for physical games on classic consoles is very niche, but I would love to see companies do this.

Man, I used to play D&D: Warriors of the Eternal Sun with my dad when I was a young kid. He used to half yards and yards of homemade paper maps drawn out all over the place so he could find his way around the dungeons. It's probably the game that got me into RPG's.
Ohh man I been stocking up on so much retro and new. Making room for all the new consoles! I am hyped, got all the PS5 launch lineups and series X stuff preordered.

The Monkey Island series has a special place in my heart, particularly the first two. I remember playing them on the Amiga, and my Grandad used to love watching me play them and tried to help a young teen me solve some of the puzzles. I still have the remastered versions they did years ago on my PS3 because of those times. Nostalgic doesn't cover it!
I miss the many midnights I would go to Walmart and dig through the sale bins to find videogames on the cheap. The Walmarts here doesn't have those too hot down here anymore though, such a shame.
That point and click book reminds me of in the mid to late 90s when I was between 7 and 10 I entered this Simpson's contest from some product at the grocery store. Forgot all about it but ended winning like 5th place or something and winning the point and click game virtual Springfield for the PC. Such a nostalgic game.
