I'm having a good weekend so far because I finally got a new job so I decided to spoil myself I bought a physical copy of Tetris 99 and I pre-ordered Pocky and Rocky at Play Asia. 7:54 I bought that game I saw somebody this and it appealed to me it was like symphony of the night also the music is really good.

Happy Easter Johnny! I haven't been buying many games lately, but Elden Ring was amazing. I did buy a couple games in the current PSN sale. Onimusha was every bit as good as I remembered it being. I also picked up Pathfinder Kingmaker. A good CRPG once every few years is enticing.

Awesome video Johnny !!! I used to tons of stuff from Limited Run Games ....one year at Xmas when they did mystery boxes I bought 2 and the never arrived . I contacted them and explained the situation ... they were terrible to deal with !!! They told me i was lying and that I would have to file a police report before they would send me what I paid for ... never bought anything after that . They have the absolute worst customer service on earth
Been playing King of Fighters XV. I'm enjoying it for the most part and I like the lore between old and new characters. Don't like that the game doesn't have much modes asides from Story, Versus, Training and Online though(Online has a huge sub-section all to itself of course..) but they did just add Boss Rush mode so hopefully we'll get more classic modes like Survival and Time Attack since XIV had those.
I simply don't understand how you could not want to open up the Scott Pilgrim set to have a look & enjoy the contents. I would want to bask in everything inside that lovely box rather than keep it in clingfilm. I question the motive behind buying such a limited edition (aware of the pun!) if you have no intention of opening it yourself. It appears like it is being bought as a financial "investment" rather than a gamer's love of the product.

KOF fan here (97' was the game I played the most back in the arcade days here in Argentina). KOF XV it's a great fighting game. It feels very old school, it has all the KOF soundtracks to unlock, not a lot of single player content (online focus) but if you're a KOF fan it's the best KOF in decades :)

I love The King of Fighters series and KOF XV has definitely delivered in almost every aspect for me. Graphics, gameplay, music, and last but certainly not least the story and character lore is fantastic. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have been Johnny.
I FINALLY got the Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection Vol.1 Classic Edition from LRG. Came in a big box with the Game, Steel book Case, poster and the Retrospective book. Pretty cool.

Last game related thing i pickup was a copy of "blaster master zero 3" for switch.There's a local,brick&motor here that sells and trades modern and retro video games.I notice they were selling copies of blaster master zero 3 still. So i snag a copy finally since i missed out on it's preorder originally.
Just how niche Vinyl record releases have gotten for video games is crazy. I was at a game store a week ago and they had a vinyl section with all sorts of obscure fan remixes, a kk slider cover record, and obscure retro/indie game soundtracks.
Kof 15 is a great evolution of the fighting mechanics. However the lack of single player modes and no cross play ends up hurting the overall game even though the roll back net code is solid. I would probably give the game a 7/10
Played the Record of Loddos War pretty recently on PC, very fun metroidvania with gorgeous pixel graphics, the engine they use seens to be very popular with bullet hells and there are elements of that in this game too
Absolutely. I didn't have a real flare for JRPGS all that much until I discovered this channel, and just listening to Johnny's enthusiasm is so contagious it made me check out a lot of Jrpgs that I missed.
Same here! So many of my buddies used to tell me about them since the PS2 Era and I was close minded back then. Now I love a good immersive JRPG or RPG, it's the story that hooks me and I have been enjoying myself. Thank to thus channel it got me into my first JRPG experience with Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana... OMG WHAT AN AMAZING MASTERPIECE 👏 so much love for that game.
Yeah I'm loving KoF15, has one of the coolest roster in the series. It's not showcasing top graphics, but I love the colours and think the models look great for the style. And ofc the gameplay is very much like KoF14, but the raw EX specials adds more flair imo.

Dude! I just received Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 vinyl albums! As well as the Ninja Gaiden trilogy vinyls! By the way Ys Origin vinyl soundtrack as well as another Ys game, and Chrono Cross piano variations is available on Fangamer currently.
Right now for me, it's all about Kirby and the forgotten land and Chrono Cross radical dreamer's edition! Having so much fun with those games on my switch.

Congrats on the 9 year marriage anniversary! P.S. King of Fighters XV is an amazing game but the PS5 version has the most input lag outta all the platforms(like ~6 frames). I would recommend PS4 version for online matches, feels much smoother. It really makes a difference if you get into the competitive aspect of online play.
I actually love Chocobo GP, I've played over 25 hours, unlocked Squall and Cloud and taking a break until the next season. It's really fun and the story is cute. It's got this really negative stigma because of the microtransactions but honestly, the only good thing you can even buy are some skins. The rest is useless stuff. Yoy get given enough currency for the first battle pass, It's cool that you get 50 of the premium currency every week too, so if you pay regularly you be able to get the second battle pass without any cost.
