Got the canshift installed and it actually improved my 0-60 quite drastically. My previous best 0-60 was 6.4 seconds (a few bolt ons and steep gears). First run with the canshift got 5.8. I believe it is because it eliminates the shift hesitation. Previously, when my car reached redline it would hold there for a bit before upshifting. With the canshift I hit the button around 4800 and it shifts a little after 5k with no hesitation. As far as getting the jump on a c4 vette from a dead stop, I don't know how that happened. If you're rolling in 1st or 2nd it is kind of in neutral so when you punch it, it revs before catching and you can get a jump that way. I believe that's a damn good way to frag your tranny, though.

The problem is a basically stock crown Victoria is not beating a C4 Corvette by simply adding canshift. You can see the Corvette is not even accelerating in the canshift video.
@@MrRandomReviews I'm very familiar with the C4 Corvette and the Panther platform. Unless your Vic runs low 14 second 1/4 mile it's not happening. I know how much it takes to get a Crown Victoria into the 14's without a power adder.
My 2011 crown Vic flex fuel makes 7.1 sec with no tune no e85 . Only got spectre air filter with navigator throttle body msd coils and no cats and it weights 4400. My future mods will be jmod 3.73 gears 2.5 exhaust and a MARTY! Tune hopefully be under the 7s🙏

So far it has full aluminum rear control arms from adtr, metco aluminum watts link, 4.30 gears, new coil springs and coilover overload shocks, custom cold air intake (hot air intake currently, gotta build the box when the intake tube arrives from adtr), ported intake plenum, msd coil packs, side pipe exhaust, and Marty tune. Best previous 0-60 is 6.4. I don't expect any time improvement. Just looking for more fun and control without using the column shifter.

The two cars would have to be 100% identical in every way..power, weight, suspension, tires, gearing, etc.. Any and all of those factors can dramatically change the results

HELLWAGONTV I mean I guess it’s cool but it looks tacky and cheap as hell..as far as there being any performance benefits, I just do not have enough information or experience with it to speak on it..and in all honesty the results in this test in my opinion are inconclusive..My current panther is a 2000 so I can’t test it out even if I wanted to though lol
Just so everyone understands, using E85 does NOT "add" hp because the pcm just retards the engine timing. To get the benefits of E85's higher octane you would need to retune the pcm. With that said does anyone know of an easy retune (chip) for the pcm, for example an eco mode and performance mode?

There too many variables with you comparing the canshift car to different vics that it makes the info completely worthless. From the speedometers being off to the amount of fuel in the tank to their tires, it's fucking endless, this is why you use the same car.
The canshift will not work with the older computer setup in your 03. 2005+ cars have a very different computer setup then the previous years and they are not compatible. If you wanted manual shifting in your 03, I think you could install an old school ratchet shifter which will allow you manually shift gears. Not 100% sure tho so you might wanna research it.
Some of the speedometers are a little off. According to gps when I'm doing 58 im actually doing 60. And 60 is really 62. See if thats the case with yours maybe you really got 7 flat 0 to 60
@@krownvikkhris3004 i aint certified but when i get mine tuned (2010 115k) maybe 5850, my trans is good & tight just keep your foot on the brake and row through the gears and let each one engage you should feel it jump going into drive or reverse.. if not your trans might not be in good enough shape. 5850 i think is safe, ive seen one at 5950/almost 6k, just look up "detroit tuned p71" the guy could probably help u mire than i can

You can run the marty and canshift at the same time. The martt is flashed to your ecu and can be unplugged for the canshift

If your going the supercharged route go with 3.73 gears instead
