I recommend gamers do some research about their tv and what it's capabilities are especially for HDR. You'll find that plenty of TV manufacturers put HDR on the box and ends up being so poor that it looks worse than SDR.
For some reason HDR is trash on my Xbox but my PlayStation runs fine. How come?

Try shutting off auto HDR IN THE XBOX settings, let me know what you think. Also check how to properly set your HDR calibrations too, you might actually have them set wrong.
Guys make sure the hdmi is on auto detect or it won't enable 4k

Leave it at 8 bit, it'll change to 10 bit automatically with hdr content.

if you have a series s put it on 1440p and 120hz, some people like to put it on 1080p but u choose. if u have a series x put 120hz and 4k. also hdr calibrate the xbox for best graphics

I have a 65 inch Sony Bravia XR and I just got Xbox, having major issues, I just noticed that the HDMI ports on the tv have diff specs and I didn’t have the Xbox hdmi cable plugged into a 4k 120hz port on the tv, I’m hoping this solves my issues because if this is how the graphics are gonna look, I’m returning it and going back to ps4

Yes it is, 1440p looks really good on series S and X
For me on my xbox one s on my moniter i can have 120 Hertz on 1080 p but only 60 hertz on 1440p

What I don't understand is why my 170hz minitor will only display 120hz on the home menu and instantly switch to 60hz the second I load a game. I can't find anyone who's actually been able to play their games in 120hz on xbox.
